Amazing experience…

Luca was an amazing tour guide. He brought us on the 3-hour tour. He told us about the history of Lisbon and took us to the touristy spots. It was great to be on the old streets. It was a the way to go for the all the hills. His English was very good. We highly recommend him. On a side note - by the end of the tour I was feeling dizzy and feeling unsteady and some of my family felt like they were still moving. By no fault of the tour guide. But if you are sensitive to stuff like that you may want to take something before going. I never thought about it being an issue.

Ivo is a friendly knowledgeable tour guide who is very good with families with children. The lady bus driver is very friendly. The tour starts at an early time which is very beneficial in beating the crowds at the PETA Palace. Everything ran smoothly and on time.

A Fascinating Trip to Sintra

Laurence was our driver and guide for this wonderful tour. He communicated with us a day before and arrived promptly to pick us up in our hotel lobby. He drove very safely on the narrow and winding roads in Sintra. He is very knowledgeable about Sintra. He explained clearly about the historical background related to each Palace. He was always waiting for us as we finished our visits. He reserved a beautiful sea side restaurant for lunch. After the day tour he brought us back to our hotel on time. He was enthusiastic to explain things and his communication skills were excellent!

Happy belly means you have stories to tell

This tour was so fun and Carlos was great! There were 14 of us total, and he still managed to keep it personal and intimate. I don’t drink, and knew there were aspects that I couldn’t partake in, and I still LOVED all the food and learning the history of Portugal and their different food/drinks. I recommend doing it towards the beginning of your visit, as you’ll learn some tips to navigate on your own. My favorite bite was the cod fritter (although the cheese was incredible too) and my husband’s favorite sip was the green wine. There was enough food for a very full meal, our bellies were full! Thank you Carlos!

The half-day tour was perfect for the two of us! It gave us ample time to spend in Sintra and tour the outside of the Pena Palace. What made the tour special for us was out tour guide, Louis. From start to finish, he was amazing and a wealth of knowledge. We were going to do Pena Palace on our own, but so glad we did the tour. Would highly recommend!

Our guide, Marcio was...

Our guide, Marcio was super. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and good fun. We'd booked for 3 hours but overran by nearly an hour which Marcio was happy to do which was kind of him. He even tried to book a Fado venue for us using his personal contacts. We saw pretty much all the sights one would hope to see. Travelling by tuk tuk over cobbled streets is a bit of a challenge but Marcio tried hard to minimise the bumps!

Pretty good tour of the...

Pretty good tour of the Quinta da Regaleira gardens and Pena Palace in Sintra. Easy tour that takes care of the entrance tickets so you can just walk right in. Our guide, Bruno, had a lot of information to tell us and was kind and engaging. He took the time to make sure everyone was ok, despite the group being quite big (around 20 of us). While everything was efficient, you don't get to see much of Sintra (town) but that's the nature of these types of tours. Good to be able to background, history, and stories around what you're seeing!

We had a wonderful day visiting Sintra, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, and Cascais. Pedro was an exceptional guide — extremely knowledgeable, a great storyteller, thoughtful, and fun to spend the day with. His recommendations for places to visit and eat were spot on. Lots to see in a comfortable way!

Truly a FULL day tour.

This tour is definitely worth the time. Be prepared for a long day of over 12 hrs. Our primary guide "John" was a wealth of historical information, of both Portugal in general, and the specific sites we visited. As our group was on the larger size, for Porto we were split into two. We had the delightful Maria as our guide. She brought such enthusiasm to the city she calls home. Tour was well organized. The bus was modern, clean and comfortable with USB sockets for charging your devices.
