Fantastic Tour of Lisbon with a Phenomenal Tour Guide
Filipe was an amazing tour guide. He had an itinerary that took us all over Lisbon seeing it like a native. His knowledge of Lisbon’s history added a dimension to our tour that we truly appreciate. He kindly acted as our photographer capturing photos of us at various highlights giving us memories to cherish. He ensured that we had unique Lisbon food and drink experiences that gave us a taste of Lisbon’s charm. This was an amazing experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with Filipe learning all about his city. He was an incredible tour guide. This tour with this tour guide is a must in Lisbon. By the end of the day Filipe was family. Thank you Filipe for a wonderful day. It was such a pleasure getting to know you and your beautiful city. You gave us an experience we will never forget.

Enchanting
Loved seeing Sintra. The bus ride was very comfortable, and once there, we had some time to stroll around and get a coffee before visiting Quinta de Regaleira. It’s a fascinating and beautiful place to visit. We especially loved visiting the Initiation Well. Afterwards, we got lunch on our own, and then traveled to the castle/monastery at the top of the mountain. We all agreed it would be worth staying in Sintra overnight to explore more. Be aware—this tour was described as requiring moderate physical fitness; however, the walkways are steep with uneven surfaces and lots of steep steps. Most of us on the tour agreed that it should be described as moderate to strenuous. Highly recommend!

Great sights, great value!
This was a great guided tour experience for tourists who want to see a lot of sights but who don’t wander to handle the logistics of transportation, tickets, etc. Our tour guide Gelao was very funny and engaging, and he also provided a lot of historical information along the way. The actual sights we visited (Sintra, Regaleira, Peña palace, Cascais) were all wonderful and it was a well-curated tour. Highly recommend as a great value-for-money day trip!

Lisbon in a day !
Alexandria was a great tour guide. She took us to many places and knew the secret in and outs of line skipping. Personally,we felt the tour was a little too historical/religious facts heavy... we enjoy the lighter side of tours... food, markets, flora and secrets. But if you want an in depth tour of Lisbons history...this is it!

Wonderful and Relaxing Day
We had a wonderful private tour to Sintra with our guide, Alberto. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience both enjoyable and informative. We always felt safe and well taken care of thanks to his careful driving, which allowed us to relax and fully take in the beautiful scenery.
One moment that truly stood out was when he kindly made an extra stop so my dad could see the beach up close—such a thoughtful touch that meant a lot to us. It’s clear Alberto genuinely cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to make the day special.
We strongly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and seamless experience in Sintra.

Wine and views - what else do you need!?
Nuno was the best guide for us! He was very communicative before the trip to ensure we arrived at the right pick up location. He made sure our drive to each vineyard/location was very comfortable as well. The highlights were the views we got during the drive, going to Quinta de Catralvos, and the seaside lunch. I would highly recommend doing this tour with Nuno!

Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon
Jimina was an incredibly informed and engaging tour guide with amazing driving skills. The tour began before we arrived in Sintra, with explanations of Portugal’s history and geography as we drove. The first stop was Quinta da Regaleira, where Jimina gave us the fascinating history of the palace and its creator. She explained to us all the key features of the property as we walked through it, but left us alone to navigate the amazing initiation wells. It is a site not to be missed.
Unfortunately we underestimated the effect of jet lag combined with a hot day, and Jimina was extremely accommodating and drove us to a stunning restaurant on the ocean, where we had a restorative lunch. We unfortunately did not rally enough to tour Peña Palace, but it is a good reason to return Lisbon, which we loved.

A great day out.
This has been a fabulous day. Paulo is an incredible guide whose passion and love of history mean he is a joy to listen to. It is a long day but the breaks are well spaced and the trip has been well worth it. Definitely a great experience. No doubt many will snooze on the bus now that we are on our way home.

Nice day tour
Lane Tours provided this day trip. For the most part, they were efficient and friendly. Our group of about 25 required four different languages which, while impressive to hear, resulted in fewer details and history about the places we visited. The time spent in Fatima and Nazare was more than sufficient but we would have liked more time in Obidos as we only had an hour there before returning to Lisbon. All in all, we felt the tour was money well spent.

A great Tour
This is a must if you want to visit both Pena Palace, Regaleira and also Cascais. Rute was a great tour guide and we had a very fun day out. She made recommendations to us which were great. We cannot praise her enough! The surroundings were incredible and we did not feel rushed at all (we were in a small group). 10/10

What to do on a wet day in lisbon
Well what fun we had on here. Pedro and The Captain were very entertaining and enthusiastic throughout the whole trip. It was a really great experience despite choosing a cold, wet day to do this. Definitely recommend this if you want a nice relaxed, spacious, seated view of the streets of Lisbon. Other tours have been packed in like a literal sardine and views, zero. The trip up the Tagus,to see the tower and monument at Belem was wonderful . So nice to see it towards land for a change.

Customer Focused
Our tour guide Oriana was energetic and knowledgeable. She was flexible when parking was a challenge some timee going around the block while we visited sights. She had great recommendations for food and shopping. At many stops she gave us free time to explore on our own.
