Great and Unique Tour of Lisbon

I really enjoyed my tour of Lisbon. I booked a private tour which I liked. I was able to ask as many questions as I wished. The tour guide, Go Carlo Santos was excellent! He had so much knowledge that was interesting to hear. I do have one caution and that is the ride can be very bumpy due to the cobblestone streets.

Amazing experience.

This trip was amazing starting with our guide Joao who was extremely knowledgeable and very personable starting with overcast and some downpour and he was prepared with umbrellas and the pacing was good I never felt rushed and he was accommodating for eight people he gave great food recommendations and knew the history of the places we visited in the future I would personally endorse him to be a guide. The places are so amazing, beautiful and unforgettable. You can feel your self in a fairy tale.

Wonderful excursion to Douro Valley

I booked this tour to fill a Sunday on my itinerary. Best decision! Bruno Amorim was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, very engaging, welcoming, and attentive to everyone in the group. Our driver, Tropa, was very professional as well. The drive to the wineries was smooth. The pacing throughout the day was comfortable and not rushed. The two wineries gave us different experiences, and the knowledgeable guides at each were fantastic. Other bigs highlights were the truly beautiful river cruise, the exceptional lunch at the Restaurant Sanfins where the group enjoyed a typical Sunday dinner, and the brief stop at the charming town of Amarante for a quick refreshment on our drive back. Overall, this is an excellent experience for a solo traveler looking to join a group for a day centered around a well-organized and thoughtful itinerary. I was glad for the chance to experience a portion of the country outside of the main city centers. Highly recommend this company for professional tours!

So worth it!

10/10 highly recommended. First of all, Tiago is the best! He was everything a tour guide should be- helpful, punctual, charismatic, and so knowledgeable. The trip was everything you hope it will be. You get everything in one day starting with town life, palaces and history, and end on the most beautiful coastline. Thanks to Tiago, you only have to worry about having a good time.

An excellent overall experience

My wife and I booked this excursion before we arrived at Porto. It was a rather grey and rainy day BUT the weather was almost ideal for this trip and most of it was under cover. We met the guide (Rita) at Lapa church at 8.30am - although we had been there for around 20 minutes earlier. Rita was a very pleasant, knowledgeable and a funny guide. She put everyone at ease. The mini-coach was comfortable (although I will say the seats were a bit tight for people with longer legs as I have!) The driver was good. Plenty of useful information about Portugal, Porto, and (of course) the Douro valley and wineries. We had a short comfort stop after around an hour before we arrived for our 1-h boat trip along the Douro river. A pleasant boat trip - long enough to get a feel of the vineyards etc. Next stop was our first vineyard stop where we (we were a group of around 13 or so) got a brief understanding about the types and processes of wine production in the region. We then sampled 3 wines (red, rose, and white) with an opportunity to buy - no pressure was put on us to buy. The final stop was at another vineyard where we had a nice Portuguese style lunch with red and white wines. The journey back to Porto was a real "song fest" with Rita getting us to sing songs which were from our own countries/cities. In our case (as we come form Liverpool) it was "Let in Be" by the Beatles!!! The singing and camaraderie made for a pleasant journey back to Lapa church. Oh, and the rain stopped and it was sunny!!
