I already submitted a review of today's experience but I wanted to add a comment. I gave this trip 5 stars because it delivered what I expected, and some other things that were a pleasant surprise. Our tour guide, Felipe, really went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable in the rain. He planned our boat trip around the radar to try to give us a dry and pleasant boat trip, which he accomplished. He was sensitive to the needs of people who had to use the bathroom. He gave us recommendations for dinner places, and even helped us to make reservations. Our meal was wonderful! Thank you, Felipe, for a very enjoyable day!

Had a spectacular day...

Had a spectacular day with our guide Alex & our group! Alex was very kind, patient, a very good driver & tour guide. He kept us informed every step of the way. We felt comfortable & in good hands. The Duoro Valley is absolutely stunning! We enjoyed visiting the winery overlooking the Douro River, with fun tour & tasting. We had an amazing lunch at the next winery with wine pairings. Such a gorgeous setting! We relaxed afterwards on the boat ride on the river with gourmet snacks & a cocktail. It was a very special day & so glad we got to see this beautiful part of Portugal! We enjoyed spending time with the new friends we met on the tour. Highly recommend this tour!

Had a great time on the yacht. Crew was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Porto. Drank tons of green wine and the meat and cheese board was excellent! Then even turned on some Yacht Rock and Bad Bunny! Met some new amazing friends as well!

We love the tour. We learned a lot because the guide was very knowledgeable. I had some difficulty hearing him sometimes because his voice is soft. Besides the rain, I have no complaints, but it is mother nature’s. Great tour, would recommend it to anyone.

Ana turned what could have been just a transfer from Porto to Lisbon into one of the most memorable parts of our trip. From the very beginning, she struck the perfect balance of professionalism, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing Portugal with us. Each of our four stops Aveiro, Nazaré, Fátima, and Óbidos. Ana gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace, yet somehow, the moment we were ready to move on, she would appear right on cue like a magical genie, smiling and ready to whisk us off to the next destination. It honestly felt seamless, almost like she had a sixth sense for timing. Beyond her impeccable coordination, Ana added so much depth to the experience with her knowledge and insights about each location. Whether it was local history, cultural details, or small hidden gems we might have otherwise missed, she elevated every stop along the way. Her calm, friendly presence made the entire journey relaxing and enjoyable, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making our experience special. She even took pictures of us. By the time we arrived in Lisbon, it felt like we had not only seen incredible places but had done so with someone who truly loves what they do. If you’re considering a tour through Portugal, Ana is exactly the kind of guide you hope for and rarely find.

Great food and wine tour

Our guide Thiago was animated as he told the funniest and most interesting details about the food , wine, beer and restaurants. He made it so enjoyable! The places he took us were local with lots of character. All the food was delicious and characteristic of Portugal. The group we had was wonderful and we all felt so connected half way through. I highly recommend this tour. You will not need dinner after spending the afternoon on this 3 hour food tour.

Definitely would recommend

We had a really good time on the boat. Our captain Marcello was very good explaining the history of Porto. We enjoyed the wine too. Unfortunately there was a lot of clouds so no sunset but that was ok. We’re very happy we did the cruise. I would recommend it to friends if I had any.

Great day with excelkent guide

Excellent day. 8 people in the minibus plus Miguel the driver. Miguel was exceedingly knowledgeable as a guide and clearly loves Porto and Portugal. He made us laugh and bonded the group, which made the day for us. The wine tours and tastings were excellent, one with a lovely tasty lunch. Views were to die for in the Douro valley. Would go again tomorrow if i had the chance and would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Do not miss this one

Perfect mix of history and modern, walking and breaks. The pace was good as we had participants up to their 80’s. The bookstore was packed but it always is so everyone was kind and understood Worth it to stop looking at the books and just admire the building. We did however buy 3 books using the 12 Euro discount per person. That was unexpected. Maria Nicolau was absolutely charming. She was funny, solicitous and thoughtful. Highly recommend. There were 36 participants that they thoughtfully split into groups loosely by age. The younger group finished in 4 hours and ours finished in 5. Perfect pace for us. Total of 3 to 4 miles of walking with plenty of breaks. We loved it.

It was excellent. We just got to Porto and Diego our guide (Awesome! Ask for him!) gave us a 2 hour overview tour of Porto. We were actually super interested to see how close the ocean was so he included a stop at a beautiful point so we could see the ocean! Wonderful guide and tour company!
