Our wine tour in Porto was honestly the best part of our trip so far! Our guide, Bernardo, was SO lovely and funny, and made what was a long day feel effortless and incredibly fun. We felt so comfortable asking questions throughout the day. He was incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to share more. Don't miss this touring excursion...

Fabulous excursion. Very comfortable, Mercedes van. The driver was incredibly friendly and informative. The Douro River valley is spectacular and this tour was a fun way to meet people from other parts of the world. The boat ride on the Douro River included wine, snacks and and entertaining, "pirate" host commentary. The Foz family winery was beautiful and the wine tasting was exceptional... we're shipping two wine varieties and olive oil back home! Our last stop included an amazing alfresco lunch with more delicious wines and incredible food. This is a "not to be missed" tour!

Great addition to Porto trip

We had a very pleasant experience with Miguel and the magnificent landscape he showed us. My kids also had a great time. Every part of the day trip was unique and memorable in its own special way. Our guide, Miguel, was great: professional, informative and caring about the guests and the landscape he was showing us. I’d definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting Porto for a few days. Worth the drive for the view!

This was a great day. Beautiful scenery. Our driver Riccardo was such a seasoned guide and so charming. It was just long enough to visit 1 winery if you are not a drinker. The drive is about 2 hours from Porto and just make sure you can handle the winding roads. One guest had a hard time.

One of the best...

One of the best excursions I have ever taken. And it is worth the money. Especially in this city, that is all about hills and cobbled roads. Beto, our guide, took us to Gays and different parts of Porto in 3 hours, gave a lot of historic and modern information and also showed places that he knows from growing in Porto. I highly recommend the tour.

Fantastic Day Trip

What a wonderful experience. Nuno was our guide and was truly excellent and so caring. We happened to get lucky being paired with just one other couple for the trip and they were awesome. We started out driving to Douro valley. Stopped at one place and got to try 3 different port wines. Then we went to the boat ride which was really lovely. After that we stopped at a lookout point to take a photo. Next we had lunch and it was just the perfect setting outside. The chicken was absolutely delicious. We had white and red wine at this stop. Lastly, we stopped at an organic winery and had such a lovely man show the group around. It was informative and very well done. We had a few wine and port tastings, got to try 3 types of honey and their olive oil. After the tour you were able to purchase whatever you liked. It was a full day from 830-530 but I wouldn't have changed a thing.
