The original time was...

The original time was cancelled due to an “event” at the Capitol. We got nothing official to let us know it was cancelled. We did get a text from an unknown number and with poor grammar and we thought it was Phishing text. We were able to come back after the event and re book our tour. We were told this by the friendly guards at the visitor center, when we showed up at 8:00 in the morning

Good stories, take kids with caution

The guide did a great job telling stories about different events and took us by many prominent sites. He was in character and very entertaining. People with kids should use caution however as there were many inappropriate stories and a lot of curse words used. I almost left because of it. There were a few kids present and the language was not appropriate.

The guide was terrific. Lots of good info and made it fun for the kids. Definitely got more out of it with the guide. We went on Monday- didn’t realize the Library of Congress was closed. That’s the only reason this isn’t 5 Star. We might have booked a different day if we knew it was closed.
