What are people saying about San Francisco

Lunch and learn
We had a great time, touring Chinatown and eating some delicious food as a small group of friends. Without our guide, we would have missed most of what we learned since many of the things she pointed out were not at all obvious to us. We did the tour over lunch, which was really great since we didn’t have to plan a separate meal. We loved it!

I did Alcatraz first and...
I did Alcatraz first and then Muir Woods. It was literally the perfect day. Our tour guide, Dustin, was so kind and knew a lot about the city. The van was really comfortable and we had adequate time at each stop. I would definitely recommend the tour I did to anyone who isn’t visiting San Francisco for a super long time and wants to see a few things in one day!

Marcus is awesome!
The trip started a little rocky with our guide calling after 10 ( trip started at 10) to say they would be at the shop in 20 minutes. Marcus showed up for his 11:00 city tour trip and saved the day. I was able to go on his tour instead- and I'm so glad the first trip didn't pan out!! Marcus knew a lot of San Francisco history, and had a great book on the ride to share even more! If I were to do it all again I wouldn't hesitate to book the city tour with Marcus- worth the 4 hours if you want to bike through all parts of the city. I had plenty of time to bike to Crissy park, onto the Golden Gate bridge, into Sausalito with a quick bite to eat and back to the shop before time to turn in the bike. Thank you Marcus for showing me around the amazing San Francisco!

Ask for Keith
Guide: Keith is a san francisco native and strong storyteller. He bought the energy and read the crowds engagement. Good driver as well.. The time to walk the trails was a highlight.took several hundred pics. Also say climbers on El Capitan. Advice: stay overnight. For such a long drive, we wanted to take in more (stars+). Logistics: easy to follow with many followup. Con: could not get the audio download option to work and gave up on that - which was ok, nature had its own soundtrack.

Move over cable cars—San Francisco is a town best explored on foot. The compact city is 7 square miles (18 square kilometers) of dense neighborhoods, historic alleyways, hilltop viewpoints, and urban green spaces. While San Francisco walking tours are great for experiencing the unique character of city neighborhoods—and even a certain world-renowned bridge—they can venture beyond the beaten trails that bus tours rarely tread. They're also often organized around themes such as architecture, hiking, street art, cuisine, history, and even ghosts.
