It depends. If you come to pray, meditate, or attend a service, it's free. For sightseeing, tickets are US$15 for adults, US$13 for seniors, and US$11 for ages 12–22; children under 12 are free. Guided tours, depending on tour type and visitor age, cost US$22–$37.

Which labyrinth? Grace Cathedral has two: an indoor and an outdoor labyrinth, both based on the medieval design at Chartres Cathedral in France. The indoor labyrinth, in the nave, is open during sightseeing hours for meditative walking. The outdoor labyrinth at the top of the cathedral steps is technically accessible 24/7.

San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral is known for several things: its front entrance, the Doors of Paradise; its indoor and outdoor labyrinth; its stained-glass windows; and the AIDS Interfaith Memorial Chapel. It's home to artworks by Keith Haring, David LaChapelle, and Ansel Adams, as well as a majestic Aeolian-Skinner organ.

That depends. Self-guided sightseeing inside the cathedral and all guided tours require a ticket. However, if you’re coming to pray, meditate, attend a service, or light a candle in sightseeing hours, you can enter the cathedral for free. Stop at the welcome desk to let them know.

The cathedral’s main entrance is through the Doors of Paradise, which are replicas of Lorenzo Ghiberti's doors from the Florence Cathedral, which Michelangelo dubbed the Porta del Paradiso. The original doors are among the finest bronze works of the early Italian Renaissance, and their American replicas are just as striking.
