You get much more than food
This is a great walking tour with some great food and lots of great history. Barry was our guide and made the experience even better. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to taste the local fare with some free history while you do it, especially if Barry is there.

Excellent!!! John our guide was knowledgeable interesting and good story teller. The group was about 10 or so people some from New Mexico and Ohio New Jersey. We all came away very pleased with our time spent exploring and learning about the important role that Philadelphia had in the birth and the forming of our democracy and this great country.

Very worth your while!
It was quite the history lesson. Our tour guide, Mark, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He gave us time to take pictures at various stops and even took our group picture then sent it to us via text. The electric cart was very comfortable and able to go into tight spaces.

Covered more ground than expected!
The tour covered more ground than we expected. We have done a lot of historical tours over the years and our guide, Vince, really brought the rich history of Philadelphia's role in the American Revolution to life, always keeping the program moving and relevant to our group. The tour was a great use of our limited time in town, and was so much better than just wandering through the historic district without context.

Philadelphia tours prove that there’s more to the City of Brotherly Love than its role in the American Revolution. With a local expert, you can marvel at the murals and Magic Gardens of South Philly, feast on cheesesteaks and tomato pie in the city’s historic markets, and roam the stately mansions and gardens of Brandywine Valley. Of course, you’ll also want to follow the footsteps of America’s founding fathers and earliest citizens, which you can do on historian-led tours of Independence Hall, Elfreth’s Alley, and the President’s House that predates the White House.
