Phenomenal Day touring Sintra and more

We had such a wonderful time on this excursion. Nuno, our guide was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! He picked us up at our hotel and took us on one of the best days we’ve ever had! I went on this excursion with my wife and two daughters and we got to learn so much about the history of Portugal and the people. Nuno made sure we got to see all the sites we wanted to visit, explained so much to us about each spot. And make sure we have plenty of time to enjoy our time at each location. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. He definitely went above and beyond, helping us out and getting us around.

Sintra is a must see

We had a fabulous day visiting Sintra. Jorge picked us up at our hotel in Lisbon and we drove us to Sonya. On the way he pointed out sights and the history around them. The weather was very misty, so we didn’t have great views but that didn’t dampen our experience. Jorge was very helpful with navigating the tour experience at Pena castle and we loved our time viewing the exterior and the amazing grounds. Next to the village of Sintra for lunch and shopping. All in all a very wonderful experience!!

Insights, information and friendly small group experience made our trip a fun and memorable experience

With our guide Rodrigo, we learnt a lot about Portugal’s illustrious history and many interesting details about the people who lived and loved in the fascinating Sintra Pena Palace. On arrival, a magical mist teased our view of the palace and surrounds, only to clear soon afterwards to reveal its brilliant colour. A special touch was that Rodrigo had spare jackets for us in his vehicle. We enjoyed pastries at a shop in Sintra as well as delicious seafood in Cascais, both recommended by Rodrigo. There was ample free time to explore on our own, and the small group ensured we never felt we were being herded. A stop to see a cork tree, amusing stories, local information and good answers to our questions made this a wonderful and worthwhile tour.

Sintra tour not to be missed

The tour of Sintra was amazing and not to be missed. The tour guide, Bart, was the best guide I have ever experienced! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of all the castles/palaces (he should be a history professor). Best of all, he is an amazing person, and he made everything so interesting and he is just a pleasure to be with. Make sure to request Bart if you are going on a tour of Sintra!!!

Wonderful tour!

Great day in Sintra with Carlos

Had a great time on our Sintra private tour with Carlos. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time just viewing the sites and also just conversing with Carlos throughout the day. The best tour ever!

This was the best tour we had while visiting Portugal. When we signed up expectation was that we had a driver for the day but we had so much more than that. Diogo,(I am not sure if that is how you spell his name, but he was the absolute best. He was a very informative tour guide. He took us to all of the places to see, he was extremely flexible and really catered to our group. He went above and beyond in every way! This reviews is not really giving him the credit that he deserves because he really was the absolute best. If I am ever back in Portugal I would ask for him for every tour! So if you go and you want, not just a driver but the best tour guide, ask for him. It was worth every penny!

Excellent Half Day Tour of Sintra

Excellent tour with Diogo as our guide. He is funny and fun and has a wealth of knowledge about the history of the area. We saw a bit of everything, driving through the forest, beaches and small towns and finishing the tour at the Pena Palace. Would recommend this tour.

Family friendly Sintra Tour

Our time with Miguel was excellent. Great communication leading up to the day including when we should make our bookings for the 2 castles we wanted to see. Was very flexible with pick up at the airport. Provided a car seat for our 1.5 yo. During the trip it was very smooth, minimizing how much we walked around or needed to search for things. Told us where the stroller would work and where it wouldnt. We also had a carrier which helped in sections the stroller would not. The tour especially if you have kids makes things stress free and easy. Miguel was very knowledgeable and it was a joy to learn so much from him. Highly recommend!

Exceptional from start to finish

Our driver, Tiago, was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, professional, and an excellent driver who made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the day. We were a bit unsure of what we wanted to do at first, but Tiago was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, helping us design the perfect itinerary on the fly. And gave us tips and tricks and recommendations in each village we stopped in. Highly recommend and having done it it’s the only way to see Sintra.
