We are so happy that we had Bruno as a tour guide. He communicated with us prior to our trip and was always responsive to my emails and texts. We were very comfortable and felt safe with his driving through the day. His knowledge of the history of Portugal and willingness to answer our many questions, including talking to us about a typical family's daily life in Portugal, was greatly appreciated. Bruno was by far the best tour guide we have ever had. Extremely knowledgeable very pleasant to chat with made us feel like family right from the get go. We went through every part of Sintra Palace with excellent information and show us this I had never seen in watching hours and hours of YouTube videos. His recommendations for lunch were great. We had the most authentic and tasty tuna steak sandwich and octopus so far on our trip. If you are looking for the best Sintra tour then book with Bruno. You will finish the day feeling like you really saw Sintra and were treated like a king and queen.

We spent a memorable and wonderful day with Bruno. He shared the beauty of his beautiful country. We felt like we were with family. We love the kind people in Portugal, the delicious food, stunning scenery and architecture. We felt confident with this tour from the start with Bruno connecting right after the booking. What an amazing experience! Bruno was the perfect mix of knowledgeable and hilarious—every story about Portugal’s history was fascinating, and he always found a way to make us laugh along the way. I felt completely safe the whole time (he’s such a careful driver), which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the ride.
It honestly felt less like a tour and more like exploring Portugal with a good friend who happens to know everything about the country. I left with wonderful memories, so much new knowledge, and a huge smile. Highly recommend Bruno to anyone visiting Portugal! He’s the absolute BEST!!

From our first encounter “Bruno got us at Hello”! He was so friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, major conversationalist and itinerary driven. He wanted to make sure that all our time was well spent and not wasted. He explained the history and significance of each region or landmark. My husband and I have taken countless tours across 40+ countries and Bruno is by far the most incredible guide we’ve ever had!! His knowledge of his homeland and his willingness to ensure you have the best experience possible is unmatched.
Due to the threat of wild fires we were unable to go to the Pena Palace, which Bruno communicated to us in advance. He kindly offered to cancel, and offered alternative options to spend additional time in Sintra, Cascais, and Cabo da Roca. I’m so glad we took him up on the alternative plan.
He took us to the most beautiful, peaceful viewpoint of the Pena Palace so we were able to see it if only from a distance. He made a surprise reservation for my husband and I at an incredible restaurant (and no he’s not affiliated with the restaurant) in Cascais with phenomenal views of the beach and marina.
We had such a lovely day learning about Portugal, seeing its beauty and experiencing its culture thanks to Bruno. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel to the time he returned us we felt and were treated like family. My husband and I highly recommend any and every tour with Bruno!

At the very least, you want a guide that is knowledgeable but Bruno is so much more. There are too many examples on how he went above and beyond for us. He is so flexible and friendly that he truly felt like family by the end of the day. Make sure to ask about his other private tours as well. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!!! Bruno, the owner and guide, was so amazing from start to finish. He communicated with me prior to even arriving in Portugal and was very reliable. I asked ahead if we could bring our luggage and stay in Cascais (rather than return to Lisbon) at the end of the tour and he was extremely accommodating. The vehicle he drove was clean with lots of windows and sun roofs to see the views while driving. He even brought us pastries and waters when he picked us up!! The entire tour was well planned out, with plenty of free time and we never felt rushed. The facts and information Bruno provided while in the Pena Palace were so interesting and pertinent! Other tours around us were listening to Bruno over their own guide because he was so good!!! Also provided fantastic recommendations for lunch, pastries, and shopping. Bruno was personable, intelligent, kind, and proud to show off his country. I wish Bruno could have taken us all over Portugal as he is the BEST!!! Seriously, don’t think twice and book this tour 👍🏼

This is the second time that I am booking a tour with Viator and it was more than expected each time. Bruno asked us why we've booked tours like that when we are on vacation. The two main reasons are to spend the day without having any kind of stress and more than anything to learn about the place that we visit. Being with local people is the best way to do it. Bruno was borned and raised in Sintra, this is a very good advantage for tourist like us. We had fun, we shared a lot of personnal things and I feel that we've known each other for long time.
It was one of the highlight of our trip in Portugal !

This private tour with Bruno was well worth the money. Bruno is one of the best tour guides we have ever had. In addition to being personable, he had a great knowledge of the history and local culture of Sintra, all of Portugal and the rest of the world as well. The skip the line tickets at the Palace saved so much time and enabled us to see Sintra, Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point in continental Europe), and Cascais and not feel rushed. His recommendations for pastries in Sintra and lunch and gelato in Cascais were spot on and delicious. We wanted to walk the promenade between Cascais and Escoril and Bruno accommodated our request. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the energetic Bruno and wish we were here long enough to take another tour with him. Note: Bruno owns his own business so you will get him as your guide if you book this tour.

Bruno is a terrific tour guide! He is so knowledgeable and friendly, and gave us a fantastic day exploring Sintra and Cascais. When traffic blocked our route, he pivoted quickly and reordered the stops so we didn’t have to spend too long waiting. He was very attentive to the needs of our group and went above and beyond to give us restaurant recommendations and local tips for the rest of our stay.

Bruno was a great tour guide. Pena Palace was one of a kind and stunning. Bruno was very knowledgeable about its history and shared stories with us throughout the tour. He also accommodated our request to add a stop at Quinta da Regaleira, which I feel is a must see! Bruno gave us several recommendations for cafes and food to try and all recommendations were fantastic. If you’d like an authentic tour of Sintra and Cascais with a super knowledgeable and welcoming local, this is the tour for you.

The Pena Palace is beautiful and a must see. The drive to the Cabo de Roca and Cascais is also beautiful and it was great to get out to the countryside.
