Bruno is an outstanding tour guide/driver. He was quick to reply when planning our day for 4 people and buying tickets for Pena Palacio & Regalaria (which sells out quickly). He is from the area and so knowledgeable of the history of Portugal. This really is the only way to navigate the large crowds and really cover all the areas we wanted to see. He set up a delicious lunch in Caiscas -one of our favorite meals. Bruno is so kind and you can tell he enjoys sharing his knowledge and culture with others, including some wonderful pastries. He even gave us suggestions for our next stop in Porto. Obrigada, Bruno! You made our trip so memorable!

Best private tour to Sintra and Caiscais!!

My dad and I did our first trip to Portugal and knew that Sintra was going to be a must-do. After researching and seeing the reviews for this provider, I booked us in for a private day tour and it was the best decision! Sebastian was the perfect guide. He was polite, timely and so knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure our tour was amazing. It was the hottest day (100F 🔥) and Sebastian was so patient and accommodating. He even went back to our car to help drop off souvenirs we bought and still managed to catch up with us (up hill!) on our trek up to Regaleria (which is a must do!!) The van we had was comfortable, clean and such a luxury given the long drive and souvenir buying we did. And the air conditioning saved the day under the extreme heat. Highlighly recommend booking and definitely ask for Sebastian to be your guide!

We had such an amazing experience exploring Sintra in a vintage Jeep with our guide, Diogo! He was incredibly charismatic, friendly, and flexible throughout the entire day. From the beginning, he made us feel comfortable and welcome, and it honestly felt less like a guided tour and more like spending the day exploring Portugal with a friend. As we drove around Sintra, Diogo pointed out interesting landmarks and shared stories and information that made the experience so much more memorable. He was engaging without making the tour feel overly structured or rehearsed, which we really appreciated. He also gave us so many great recommendations for the rest of our trip around Portugal. Diogo’s personality and genuine enthusiasm really made the experience for us. We had such a fun day and would absolutely recommend this tour—and especially Diogo—to anyone visiting Sintra!

Majestic Sintra Half Day Tour (with kids)

George was such a lovely tour guide. On our way up, he shared some interesting highlights about Portugal and the area we were visiting. He dropped us off very close to the entrances of the places we were going to visit and took into account that we were traveling with young kids ( 2.5 yrs old and a 7 yrs old). His ability to adjust our day based on our family’s needs was greatly appreciated. He recommended touring the outside of Pena Palace and then walking down along Route 2 (blue), which turned out to be a great recommendation. He also brought us to downtown Sintra, where we had plenty of time to enjoy lunch, the view, and buy some souvenirs. George went above and beyond by taking us to Belém to try the famous Pastéis de Belém. He was sweet, warm, and friendly throughout the entire day. We had a wonderful time and truly appreciated everything he did to make our experience so enjoyable!

Sofia is the best!

Our day in Sintra with Sofia was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. We wanted something more personal than a standard tour, and that's exactly what we got. Five stars for Natacha! Incredibly knowledgeable about Sintra's history and so genuinely warm and welcoming. She rolled with whatever the day threw at us and kept everything relaxed and fun. If you're touring Pena, the Moorish Castle, and Regaleira, you want her as your guide.

Tuktuk is best way to experience Sintra

Would highly suggest this tour as the best way to experience Sintra, especially with kids SIntra is a spectacular place to see, but with its hilly terrain, the tuktuk with really great guides is the only way to do it. We did not really expect to go to the beach, but we were so glad that the tour included stops at a few different beach spots and those were really a highlight of the tour and the coastline in Sintra in beautiful. Would highly recommend.
