The perfect day, Miguel is the best!

I highly recommend this experience! Miguel was amazing. My husband and I took this tour together, we spent the day in a very comfortable vehicle visiting the various attractions and other culturally significant places. Miguel accommodated our various requests and customizations but also provided options and suggestions. He took our lead on preferences and timing at each location. He also made a great pivot when the government unexpectedly closed one of the sites. He provided excellent commentary throughout the day and made us feel very special. I would definitely book this again!

Our Guide Sebastian was...

Our Guide Sebastian was great. And Pedro from Viator was very accommodating in finding a guide who would pick us up at our rental house in Cascais not Lisbon. Sebastian was prompt, courteous and is a local who knew the area well. On our way up to Sintra he gave us a rundown on the history and guided us through the tour Pena palace tour. He insisted we do the wall walk and it was worth it! Highly recommend this tour if your needs are a little different than a standard tour.

Nuno was an incredible...

Nuno was an incredible tour guide! He knew all the best places to stop, and gave us great recommendations throughout the day. We visited the Palace of Pena and the Palace of Monserrate, and we had plenty of time to explore the town for lunch and shopping. Nuno made several stops on the way back to Lisbon as well so we could see Cascais and some other cool spots. Overall we loved this tour, highly recommend!!

Perfect day out

Our guide Bruno was so informative and a genuine person! We went to Pena palace which was interesting the drive up was a windy road and once we reached there the view was sensational! Excellent service . Knowledgeable driver/tour guide . Just the right length of tour . Walking to pena palace is a nice longish walk if not used to walking but definitely well worth the walk .Palace really busy but amazing ! Lunch absolutely delicious and quaint restaurant . If you value a thoughtful, knowledgeable and personalized tour of Sintra Portugal this one is for you! Our tour guide Diogo was gracious, and went the extra mile to be sure that our experience was memorable and fun-filled. His responsive texts in advance to arrange transport in a comfortable minivan instead of vintage car, greatly accomodated my tall husband and assured his comfort due to problems walking. This openness to assist us right from the start was very much appreciated and the tour itself was personal and amazing! Diogo was considerate and helpful throughout and we learned so much about the region through his colorful stories and folklore. The narrative was outstanding, complete with historical pictures to give depth and understanding of the rich culture. We laughed, took plenty of pictures, learned a lot and ended with a small keepsake gift of our adventure... a beautiful and generous added touch! Tuktuk is best way to experience Sintra

Would highly suggest this tour as the best way to experience Sintra, especially with kids SIntra is a spectacular place to see, but with its hilly terrain, the tuktuk with really great guides is the only way to do it. We did not really expect to go to the beach, but we were so glad that the tour included stops at a few different beach spots and those were really a highlight of the tour and the coastline in Sintra in beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Excellent full day tour of Sintra sights and coast

We were skeptical about doing a guided tour for Sintra. My wife and I were going to go on our own via train/bus. But then I read the reviews that spoke so highly of Bruno, and thought it would be nice not to have to worry about any logistics. Turned out there was a transit strike on the day of our tour. So it sure is a good thing we didn’t try to go on our own. Bruno picked us up on time and offered us options to customize the day. I think we ended up doing the standard grouping of activities, and it worked out very well. We saw so much! Being on a private tour all day with someone has the possibility to be weird if you don’t like the tour guide. This was not an issue at all. Bruno is so nice and welcoming and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed our time with him. He’s great at his job, and seems like an overall great person. We are very happy we did this tour with him, as we learned a lot and saw a lot - with some short periods of time mixed in to explore the town of Sintra and Cascais on our own. Beautiful! And easy! Don’t overthink it, leave it all to Bruno, see all the highlights, and have a great time.
