This was absolutely amazing. Francesca was very accommodating with our time, she then welcomed us into her home and kitchen. It's a beautiful space - with lemon trees and olives growing outside. She was patient and informative about the food preparation, she answered our questions and she made us cook an amazing meal. My 2 teenagers were absolutely thrilled. So were the parents!

This was a very small group cooking experience with a friendly and generous chef, Francesca. We made all aspects of the dinner and dessert with her instruction and it was delicious! She is worth the drive out from Palermo.

Cooking with Francesca was my husband’s favorite part of our trip to Sicily. Francesca is a skilled chef who is knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. We shared stories of family and cooking. The meal was delicious and Francesca shared many recipes with us in addition to what we prepared. Highly recommend this experience!

This was such a fantastic experience everyone should try this when they go to Palermo! Francesca has such a great kitchen and an even better energy. The class itself was a massive learning experience for me, and the food was incredible. Francesca makes it easy for all levels of ability, so don’t feel scared if you can’t cook at all! I went solo to this, which was completely fine. Francesca makes sure everyone is included. She has lots of experience and great wisdom and knowledge of cooking and Sicily in general. The train there is easy from Palermo, a little walk from the station but that’s fine. I shared a cab back that Francesca booked. Overall this is one of the best things I’ve done! Francesca is a fascinating person and I’ll remember this for a long time.

We had a wonderful time with Francesca in her clean kitchen learning how to make fresh pasta and tiramisu. We were choosing between a few different cooking classes and so happy we went for this one! One of our best travel memories ever and I know we’ll be making pasta and tiramisu for the rest of our lives using the skills we learnt with Francesca. We drove from Palermo in our rental car after visiting Cefalù for the day as it was on the way back. We parked outside Francesca’s place off the main road. We were warmly greeted into the dedicated kitchen for cooking classes with some nibbles (cheese, meat, olives) and water - much appreciated. Everything was set out on the worktop ready to go with clean aprons for the both of us. Over the course of the evening, with some nice music playing in the background, we learned not just how to make pasta but hints and tips for how to do it at home also. It was very hands on which we appreciated. We made ricotta ravioli with lemon butter garlic sauce, pasta alla norma and tiramisu. There was plenty (too much actually) food at the end to eat for dinner and Francesca also offered us a small chilled bottle of Sicilian wine to go with the meal which was great. Highly recommend booking this!

We had the most wonderful experience with Francesca in her private vegetarian cooking class! She welcomed us into her beautiful home kitchen in a charming & authentic escape from Palermo's hustle & bustle. Francesca was incredibly hospitable, accommodating & knowledgeable,guiding us through every step of making fresh pasta, ravioli & the most delicious tiramisu. Her passion for cooking, teaching and getting to know people made the experience truly special. We left with full bellies, full hearts and new skills & memories!

The highlight of our visit to Palermo! We had a wonderful evening in this small class of only 6 guests. Francesca was an amazing host and amazing instructor. The class was fun, very inclusive and so enjoyable in every aspect. To top it off, the food we prepared and cooked was absolutely delicious and authentic Italian. All ingredients were super fresh and some were even from Francesca’s own garden. Getting to the class was very easy with the address provided and included free parking in a private courtyard. We loved every moment of this class and felt a part of Francesca’s family for the evening. Cannot recommend this class enough!
