Wonderful experience! Our family of 5 which included kids 18,16, and 11. We got to make and cook our own pizza and cannoli. Real chef and family restaurant and it was so informative and fun! We all loved our pizza and we were so full we are having to wait to enjoy our connoli tomorrow!

We took this cooking class in Taormina and it was one of our favorite nights of the entire trip — a true must-do. We made pizza and cannoli completely from scratch, and everything was absolutely delicious. The chef, who owns the restaurant, was hilarious and had such a great personality. He made the class fun, relaxed, and engaging from start to finish. The food was amazing, but what really made the night special was the experience itself — watching everyone cook, learning together, laughing, and then sitting down to enjoy what we made. It was a perfect mix of hands-on, entertaining, and delicious. We loved every minute of it and highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Taormina. Truly a memorable and special evening.

Mimmo and his family and team are legends. His Dad is the driver, his Mom the pastry chef and he as the pizzaolo and MC is great. So helpful and interesting and they make the pizza and cannoli making easy and fun.

Family owned restaurant and wonderful class experience

We really enjoyed this experience. We met in the square in Taormina and then were taken by van to the restaurant that was beautiful and right in the oceanfront. It was family owned and Chef Mimmo, his mother, and son were all involved in our class. The ingredients were fresh and everything was well organized. We made cannolos and fantastic Sicilian pizza. Chef Mimmo explained to us the proper techniques and our meal turned our wonderfully! A great last evening in Italy.

Fun evening! Papa was our driver to and from the restaurant.. Family-run restaurant. Mamma was very helpful. Chef Mimmo explained things thoroughly and provided history behind pizza and cannoli.

My friend and I were given this class as a gift and we are so happy we got to experience cooking with Mimmo! We made pizza and cannoli and Mimmo was very informative and gave us the opportunity to do everything ourselves. The food and ingredients were all incredible. His wife, brother and sweet father were all there to help as well. We loved everything about this experience - grazie Mimmo and familly!

Our family of 4 (wife and 2 kids age 11 & 9) had a wonderful time with Chef Mimmo and his whole family. Super knowledgeable about food and sicily and all the traditions. The instruction was excellent and the food was fantastic! Definitely worth every penny, an experience our family will not forget!

My partner and I booked the pizza and cannoli cooking class and it was worth every penny. Mimmo was a wonderful teacher and made the whole event a blast. Its a family run restaurant and they were very giving and treated us well. Can not reccomend this class enough. Thanks Mimmo.

This was such a fun and informative class! The instructor was amazing and the group attending were great! We started by being served wine and bruschetta to get to know each other. Then moved on to making cannoli. We rolled and made the cannoli shells, fried them, filled them and set the aside to eat later. Then on to pizza. We were provided with the dough, worked it into a pizza, added toppings and got it ready for the wood fired oven. We sat down to eat everything we made, with more wine! Everything turned out so delicious! We were provided with all the recipes we made plus a lot more! I highly recommend this class!

My wife was a little disappointed that we didn’t make the pizza dough or the filling for the cannoli. Overall it was a good experience and we had fun. I recommend.

Fun evening course in Giardini Naxos

This was great experience, everyone involved in running it was great and we had a great time making Cannoli and Pizza, we were also treated to bruschetta and wine. The restaurant isn't in Taormina, it is in the nearby town of Giardini Naxos. This wan't clear from the booking or meeting point. We got a Transfer included from the meeting point to the restaurant, but the person who met us there didn't't explain this very clearly, and the traffic was quite bad, meaning we spent a lot of time in the transfer. This didn't affect the course itself, just think the listing needs updating. We really enjoy the demonstration, and the group was of a good size, enough people to chat to but also enough staff to help you each make something and have a go yourself.

The atmosphere was perfect. The food, amazing! It was really fun. No experience needed! I’d do it again! The only thing that I wish was different was that the cannoli wrapper dough was premade as was the pizza dough. It had to be that way bc they both need 25 hours to get the gluten right before making.

We had the most fantastic evening. From pick up to drop off all was perfect. Great instructions on where to meet, all very prompt. We were lucky to have a great group to share the experience with. The food was incredible, recipes and methods explained clearly. The class has a real family feel what with Chef Mamma and being introduced to relatives. The class really was a highlight to our holiday.

Restaurant is in Giardini Naxos, I wish I knew that ahead of time., it would have been easier for me to go directly to the restaurant. But aside from that, we met some nice people here. I really thought that I knew how to make pizza, but I did learn a lot. This really is a class for everyone. We had a family with young kids, a young married couple and two people on a date. We had fun, ate some good food and got some great photos.
