What are people saying about Reykjavik

Breathtaking views!
The glacier hike was the best part of our trip! The only negative thing I have to say is that I would have loved to have a little more time at the black sand beach. We had 50 min but that included lunch and bathroom, so we couldn't stay at the beach for long. Our group was small (15 people I believe), and our driver Roberto was also the tour guide! He did a great job. Overall I definitely recommend this tour to people who want to see a lot in one day and have a little adventure hiking at the glacier. The landscapes you'll see are breathtaking!

A Golden Day from start to finish
Your only concern is getting to the BSI bus terminal.
You get there, your work is done. Reykjavik Excursions is a well oiled machine. Keep your eye on the timetable for your scheduled bus to the Golden Circle and don't forget your bus number.
The drive out to Thingvellir and back from Gulfoss are the longest legs of the trip. Plan accordingly.
Those seven hours go by quicker than you think, so savor every minute of them.

Great guide and amazing experience
This was an amazing experience! Luck was with us, and we began seeing the lights shortly after leaving Reykjavic. Our guide knew just where to go for viewing, and was very informative with great info all night long. The bus was comfortable. All in all one of the best experiences of my life!

Anna! and Gregor
I’ve taking a lot of tours and Anna was absolutely at the top for the experience she provided. Friendly, funny, amazing story telling, patient and easy to connect with immediately which is impressive for such a big group. Our driver Gregor drove us around safely and kept the bus comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this Golden Circle experience. I wish I could have Anna guide us around the entire country!

Red Lava Horse Tour
This was my first time riding a horse. Despite the cold and wet weather, I will never forget this experience. The staff members are friendly, kind, helpful, and patient. The horses are very well trained and well tempered, all while having their own little personalities, which is super cute and fun. The landscape is cool. Overall, I’d love to do this again.

Amazing Perlan!
The volcano 3D show- words are not enough to describe it...The Aurora show is OK Ok ,since I hv seen a real one in Rejkavick City itself, while walking out to buy some fruits...Museum provides you a knowledge about this stunning country...I wish to visit PERLAN again one day in summer.....winter time it's better to avoid travelling to Iceland if you don't have aurora in mind since it's extremely windy and temperatures go well below the freezing point..

What a great way to spend a day!!
We had two of the most experienced and wonderful people to take care of us. Chris our guide was great, keeping us informed and making sure we were doing great!
Robert , our driver took us safely for 14 hours through some of the most challenging wind storms I’ve ever been through!! Bravo!! Great tour

Fab tour
Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Asi was brilliant, entertaining and gave just the right amount of information on a variety of different topics. Walk was at a comfortable pace and it was the right amount of stops covered within the 2 hours. Great start to our trip, Thank you!

10/10 Highly Recommended
My sister and I loved this tour. Our tour guide was Gunnar, and he was incredible. We had a gas station stop shortly into the tour which allowed us to get coffee, a pastry and make a bathroom run. We went to Skógafoss, Vik, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Solheimajokull Glacier and then ended with Seljalandfoss. The itinerary felt well planned and I felt we had enough time at each stop. Vik is where we stop for lunch and there was enough time and food options. My only advice is dress appropriately, Iceland weather can be unpredictable.

Absolutely first class
Absolutely first class. A superb day with a very knowledgeable guide, Gummi. A lovely small group, and plenty of time to enjoy and absorb the various locations we visited. The culmination of a dip in the secret lagoon was just about the perfect way to finish. Would recommend.

Highly recommend
I usually like doing walking tours when I travel because you get the low down of the area with history and monuments/landmarks. I thought it was great that Esther took photos of us during the tour and sent us our photos by the end of the day. That was certainly something no one has done in the past. We were a good sized group but since Iceland wasn’t very crowded, we were easy to contain and wrangle. She spoke with a great sense of knowledge and wit and she was very clearly understood with a good volume that no mics/headphone were needed. I would highly recommend this tour group to anyone visiting. It was a good amount of time, good pace, not rushed and covered the important things in the area.

Amazing
Pickup and dropoff at the hotel and at every point in the tour went smoothly, Kristoph was informative, funny and extremely good at his job. Cannot recommend this highly enough!!! Sign up for the hot springs in advance - it is absolutely worth it.
Best birthday of my life. No exaggeration.
