Glacier Lagoon was amazing

This is a loooong bus ride, with 10 of the 14 hours in a small coach bus. The Diamond Beach and Glacier lagoon were awesome and made the ride worthwhile. There’s an optional boat tour of the lagoon that was not offered thru Viator, but the driver was able to get tickets in advance while in the bus, I would definitely recommend.

We did the Geothermal...

We did the Geothermal Wonderland tour with the Geothermal Bakery option and very much enjoyed it. Gulli was an excellent tour guide, the hard boiled eggs cooked in a geothermal pool that we ate at the bakery were great fun. All other stops along the way were equally enjoyable and we had plenty of time to see everything that we wanted to see without stretching the length of the tour too long.

So many puffins!

On a beautiful afternoon we set sail in search of puffins and were not disappointed. We saw so many - flying, some quite near to us, floating in the water and perched on the island. The tour was short but since the island was near the mainland, most of our time was spent watching these fun little birds. Highly recommended!

This is brilliant. Book before you go as it sells out. You get a timed sticker for Volcano, so tour the excellent exhibition on the various levels while you wait. Volcano is amazing. You just need to experience it. Ice cave afterwards is real ice and very interesting. Then go to the planetarium for the Northern Lights which is also brilliant.

Special experience

Our guide and driver (Pétur) was wonderful and efficient. He told us just enough facts and history without it being overwhelming, made it fun and easy to understand (even our 8-year-old said, "I like him! He's good!") for the whole family. We were a smaller group, which we also appreciated, and that helped keep us on schedule and even get a bit more time in certain places to enjoy the wonders of Iceland. Thank you so much for making it a special tour!

Fascinating Walking Tour

Had a great time with Palli, our "Viking" guide! He was extremely informative, both about Iceland in general, the Reykjavik city center, and his personal life events. Although rain kept us from visiting every site he'd normally take us to, he used the GIANT 3D map of Iceland in the City Hall to walk us through the history and geography of the country. In spite of the rain, we did walk around much of the city center, where Palli pointed out numerous events that made Reykjavik what it is today - from a small fishing village to a city of approximately 250,000. He was knowledgeable, humorous, and easy to talk with. Again, great tour, and we highly recommend it!

South coast wonders

This was an amazing adventure. Was able to see all the main areas of Iceland on our list. Raining a lot but the tour guy and bus driver brought us to areas of less rain in the area first and then back to the other spots so we were able to see all the sights and take amazing pictures

Wonder introduction to Iceland

This walking tour was great introduction to Reykjavik and Iceland. Ágústa was an amazing guide. She knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and history of the city, country and people. There was time built into the tour that allowed us to visit shops that we passed along the route. She also provided great recommendations of places to visit for drinks and dinner. I cannot recommend this tour enough for anyone who wants a quick yet thorough introduction to Reykjavik.

Unforgettable day in Iceland !

We had a wonderful experience today on the Golden Circle tour in Iceland. Our tour guide, Darren, was so very interesting and did everything to make our day one of the best tours we have been on. We enjoyed every moment of his commentary, his knowledge and stories which entertained us throughout the day.It was a long, exciting day and every stop we made was better than the last. A Memorable Trip

What a great trip to see some of Icelands best sights. Lots of interesting commentary from the driver throughout. Extinct volcanic craters, geyser, waterfalls, geothermal park and all on the tour. The highlight though was Hvammsvik geothermal pools, a 2 hour stop that will last in my memory for a long time. Don't forget to have a quick dip in the ocean as well!

Don't miss it!

We booked the tour last minute as the weather finally cleared up. I was worried about a very late night reading some other reviews. We got picked up promptly around 930. Initial part of the night was a bit slow but when the lights started coming out, they were spectacular. The guide was very knowledgeable and above all, very patient in taking our photos. And these are so much better than what I took on my phone. We were back by about 12 pm. Highly recommend:
