We get to see all the places mentioned in the itineraries. Pablo was our driver & guide. He gave us a lot of knowledge about the history. And he’s very funny, made our trip memorable. Highly recommended this trip

This full-day tour was one of the highlights of my time in Portugal, made even more special by our wonderful guide, Mario. His knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm brought every destination to life and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the regions we visited. My personal highlights were the breathtaking views at Cape St. Vincent, the southwesternmost point of Europe, and the charming town of Lagos. I am so grateful for this experience and would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portugal.
Good full day experience overall. Saw really cool sights and had a good time. Guide was great, Bennie is very knowledgeable and provides a lot of context, history and information along the journey. Good driver navigating narrow roads, clear communication and tried to really provide an upbeat energy and experience. Took us to some great extra scenic viewpoints. Would have been even better... It was a lot of information constantly which needs to be balanced with giving people a chance to have some time to relax, being able to listen to music without guide singing very loudly and constantly providing commentary. Sometimes people do like some time to take in sights on the drive in their own way and also sleep a bit so that needs to be respected a lot more as it was a bit overwhelming at times for the guide to constantly provide more and more information despite his enthusiasm for it. Also no mention that you had to pay to get into the castle which said was included in the itinerary.

The tour was comfortable and Benny, our guide, knew a lot of history about the Algarve. We liked the itinerary, wished we’d had just a little more time in Lagos to look around, just have enough time for lunch. We’d recommend this tour to get a good look and background for the western Algarve.
Our guide "Benny" was super! His knowledge and story telling made the entire trip worthwhile. We spent a lot of time together in the tourbus so we were able to meet others and make new friends and the stops were.not overly straining on my feet or knees so the whole trip is truly for young and old. If you are a history buff this is a must do.
Andre was an incredible tour guide—engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely funny. He kept the whole group interested from start to finish, sharing fascinating insights into both the history and present-day life of the area. He made an effort to interact with everyone, which made the experience feel really personal.
I took a photo that captures him explaining the history of Silves Castle before we went in to explore it. I’d absolutely recommend this excursion—it wouldn’t have been the same without him!
My friend and I had a great day trip to Lagos, Siltes and Cape St Vincent as part of a small group full-day tour. Our guide, Andre, was wonderful, and gave us lots of historical and cultural information about the Algarve region. Definitely a great value trip!
Definitely interesting, nice to see other parts of Algarve, had hoped to have stopped in more small towns and villages for authentic experience of Portuguese culture. Loved Lagos and would def like to see more of it.
A well paced day with a good English speaking, well informed guide Andre. A varied day of nature, history, sights and excellent food. So much easier than trying to discover alone. Highly recommended.

Long day but worth it
Only problem our guide didn’t have a mic and we couldn’t hear him in the back row
Spent far too long in the van - views were ok but spent too long there but Lagos was lovely - forget about Silves
Good overview of Faro, Olhão and Tavira with about an hour free time in each location plus an extra hour for lunch (in our case in Olhão). The guide, André, spoke excellent English and was on time picking us up in Albufeira.
Wonderful tour plus great views so much to see and the guide was terrific. He added to much knowledge to the experience.
We had a great tour with Benny. He was a wealth of information about Portugal and the Algarve. If we go on another tour in the Algarve, I hope Benny is the driver.
From beginning to end this trip ticks every box for those who want to discover new places and learn historical information about the Algarve and its creation. Mario was amazing with his knowledge and overblown personality. The experience was incredible. This was my 3rd time on this trip and every time I see new places and learn more. My daughter was with me - I usually solo travel. She was as amazed and delighted as I was. This is the first time I have seen the Algarve in cooler temperatures and recovering from the storms, so it was a completely different experience, but just as interesting. I highly recommend this tour and the company Alsafari. I will most definitely return again.
Benny gave us a wonderful day, sharing the history of the Algarve and Portugal. We visited the Silves Castle, some of the countryside, Lagos, and the stunning views at Ferol do Cabo de Sao Vincente. He finished our trip by taking us to another cliff viewing spot where we could watch para sailors flying in the wind...it was a magnificent day!
The Tour Guide was very informative, respectful and reliable. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered our questions thoroughly. If you interested in learning about historic Algarve this is a great tour to take.

What really made the experience outstanding was our guide Benny. Incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and funny, he shared fascinating historical facts, local stories, and cultural insights that you simply wouldn’t get from a guidebook. Every stop felt meaningful, and his ability to connect history with modern Algarve made the experience both educational and enjoyable.
The pace of the trip was perfect, allowing plenty of time to explore, ask questions, and really take in the surroundings. From historic towns to hidden gems, each location was explained in detail and with genuine enthusiasm.
If you’re visiting the Algarve and want to truly understand its history, culture, and character, I cannot recommend this tour enough. A fantastic experience from start to finish, made unforgettable by an exceptional guide.
I would recommend this tour to any one wanting to see more of the western Algarve.. The tour guide, Andre was prompt and knowledgeable about the area. We were a small group so he was able to answer all our questions. It was a long day but we particularly enjoyed Lagos and the “. End of the World”.
