Such a fun and unique experience! Highly recommend

This tour was so much fun! I went with my 14 year old son and 16 year old daughter while my husband did another tour, and we loved it! The guide is so personable and engaging and made us all feel so included. The food was incredible! The store itself is charming and very clean with a place to sit and eat. When we arrived they brought us drinks and a plate full of goodies to eat before we started. They locked up our belongings in a safe closet so we didn't have to carry them during the tour. The kitchen is tight and a little warm (but it was VERY warm out that day so probably didn't help). We got to see the different levels of the basement work spaces and the different work stations. The tour happens while employees are still baking so you know this is a very authentic experience. We took home some of our creations and ate them throughout the day. There were 7 people in our tour and it was fun to work with the group and the guide was great sharing personal stories and instruction at the same time. We wanted to go back to Miss Manon's later in our trip to try more pastries but didn't have the time. Will go back next trip for sure!

Don't miss this experience!!

This is a MUST DO while in Paris! Stephane is an expert crepe chef, and now, so are we!! His enthusiasm for his craft is evident and the entire experience was extremely entertaining and incredibly informative! All three generations in our group (ages 18, 51 and 78) truly LOVED this experience and the delicious crepes that we created! Plan your travel as Montmatre can be tricky to navigate from the heart of Paris. Also, plan to be there all 3 hours(or a bit more). You won't want to leave a minute early! We cannot wait to make crepes for all of our friends now that we are home! If you are going to Paris, put this on your list!!

This is the best experiences I have had in Paris! I learned so much about different techniques, and everything we baked turned out perfect. The guy that we had was so knowledgeable and helpful with making sure everything turned out tasty and amazing! He was so funny and made the whole experience wonderful. Fun family activity with delicious results

Me, my husband and our 8 year old attended the macaron class today with Felix as our chef. We had such an amazing time! Felix made it fun and easy for us, and the end product was really impressive. Great family activity; I’d do it again in a heartbeat! My only regret is not booking the croissant class as well!

Best cooking class with Paulo

This is a wonderful gathering! I did the market and dinner class. Paulo is a great chef. The market was amazing . Paulo explained how to read the signs to know what you’re buying. The cooking class was well done. Paulo kept us moving along while showing us kitchen techniques. I learned a lot in this class and can’t wait to try these dishes at home as they send the recipes to you. I was a solo traveler and the group was very welcoming! I highly recommend this tour if you love good food!

BEST cooking class I've taken!

HIGHLIGHT on our Paris trip! We loved every second and the food was amazing!! Our chef was the BEST and so engaging, personable and funny! I have already told several people about this experience that are traveling to France...I think one booked while we were there! Can't wait to make the recipes again...especially the au gratin potatoes...nothing like them! So good...highly recommend and you also meet the nicest people! I have take a lot of cooking classes in my day and this was my top fave!

Enjoyed this experience with my daughter on her 24th birthday. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and approachable with questions. He paired each wine course with a cheese from the same region and explained how the flavor of the wines were enhanced with the different cheeses. A super fun and informative experience!

Great lesson in the history of French Baking.

David shared such wonderful history about the Baguette, Financier, and the croissant. He was super patient with letting me ask many questions and he took the time to answer them all. You will get covered with flour, so should wear layers, with a short sleeve shirt underneath. This is a working bakery, which is advertised as a plus, as opposed to taking a class in a school. It is fascinating to learn about the history of this particular bakery and how it operates. The downside, of being in this setting, is that the baking area is quite small. Fortunately, my husband and I were the only two taking the class. I am very thankful that it was not cancelled! Honestly, I cannot imagine how the area can fit 8 people, with each being able to get "hands on" experience. Speaking of hands on. Note that this is a working bakery that turns out 600 baguettes each day. The dough we use has already been mixed and kneaded and proofed. So, you will not learn how to knead dough. You will learn how to shape the baguette and the croissant. We did actually make the financier! And they were delicious! As was the hot baguettes, fresh from the oven. Since it was the two of us, we had the very good fortune of leaving with a bag of financiers and baguettes! Although they almost didn't make it to the metro station lol

A Deliciously Unique Experience

Chef Carole was so lovely to open her home to my daughter and I. She showed us how to make some traditional French holiday recipes that were absolutely delicious and we both felt like we could replicate them when we get home. She went over the ingredients in great detail, letting us know where they were from and how the flavor profiles worked together. As people who don’t usually “dabble” in the kitchen, we are now inspired to do so together more. Thank you Chef Carole for the truly amazing and unique experience!
