What a great experience, and highly recommended. Our Chef and instructor Luc was pleasantly helpful and patient, walking us through the choux pastry bake. It takes some work to make the pastry and fillings, but with Luc's coaching, your results will turn out well - and enjoyably edible. The Le Foodist kitchen is well lit and comfortable. All needed supplies are ready for your use. You won't handle hot bake trays, but will mix up your choux pastry and use the heated stove top for the filling. Everyone gets a different filling flavor, and Luc will mix up the chocolate icing for the eclairs. No extensive baking experience is necessary since there's a pastry chef helping you each step along the way. All in all, time flew by while we enjoyed the whole process. Our compliments to Luc and the Le Foodist owner and staff for hosting us. This was fun - and delicious.

Such a fun way to learn about and experience some French cooking! We made some delicious eclairs-4 different flavors! Anne our instructor was wonderful, she explained all of the steps well! A fun afternoon with my daughter and family friend!

This class was one of the highlights of our trip. Stephane was an amazing teacher and fun to be with. He has so much energy and passion for pastry. It was a class of 8 people so it was not large and we got individual attention when we needed it. The Le Foodist facility is lovely too! I wish I had know they did wine tasting also as we would have booked that also.

Amazing baking experience

Our class was wonderful! Perfect ending to our girls trip to Paris for my daughter’s 16th birthday! Fanny was great at explaining the steps to us and why we had to do things a certain way for our desserts to turn out perfectly. Fanny made the class so much fun, she was super entertaining and funny. Also the space was beautiful. Would definitely book a class with Le Foodist again!

I absolutely loved this class. My friend made fun of me for signing up while he went to the catacombs which I had no desire to see. I’m pretty sure I had way more fun and actually learned how to make some amazing choices, eclairs and cream puffs from scratch. Definitely a highlight of my trip, would highly recommend.

Frederick was fantastic! Was beautiful walking the streets of Paris to get to the market, passing by all the coffee local market shops. Frederick is an extremely knowledgeable and hilarious chef. Started the day with delicious hand made croissants, some with chocolate. Learned so much and enjoyed making, mussels in a butter/white wine broth, chicken with a special french cooking technique, awesome scalloped potatoes with a french technique, hand made ice cream and with peaches and raspberry sauce, and he even got us special cheese only made in France to enjoy as snacking throughout the day. All hands on for every dish and we got drink french wine all throughout the experience, just an incredible start to the day!

This class was great fun. Working in pairs we all had a chance to learn how to make our own eclairs and cream puffs. The class size 6 participants was perfect and the venue was a fantastic set up. The abilities of the participants were all at different levels, but it didn't matter for the class - we were all able to learn in a fun environment. There were lots of questions throughout the class, which were readily answered and we all received the recipes afterwards. At the end of the afternoon, we got to taste the fruits of our labour over a nice cup of tea and then got to take home the remainder. We all had fun and I would certainly take another class if given the opportunity.

I can't recommend this class enough, it was amazing. We had so many yummy treats to eat as well as plenty of left overs! Our chef Amanda was very informative and the instructions were clear and conscise, I can't wait to go home and try it again! Thanks so much Amanda!
