We absolutely loved our Éclair and Choux experience. Clara was our teacher and she was amazing...friendly, enthusiastic and had great recommendations of places to go to try the best Parisien treats. Would definitely recommend! We'll be making these again once we're home!

We had a wonderful time. Our instructor were patient and friendly and helped us surprise my daughter for her 16th birthday. Life long memories were made..the pastries were DELICIOUS and we now have the recipe to bring back with us to the US. This is a MUST DO experience for bakers and petite bakers alike.

An in depth lesson with an experienced instructor covering the basics of choux pastry. Made 3 eclairs and some chouxettes as well. Arguably a bit expensive for the experience but a very enjoyable one nonetheless.

It's more social than I expected. Ingredients are premeasured so you can focus on technique and chat. I'm not sure I'll be an expert but I'm definitely going to try it at home. I was actually quite impressed with the results. Even my imperfect shaky piping produced pretty and delicious eclairs. And I don't actually like most eclairs. The Gamache was dark chocolate instead of sugar icing which helped.

Great fun with my college aged boys to learn about eclair making which we all love. Very hands on experience. Hands down I really enjoyed this. But to give some critique: Atmosphere was a bit dull. The room was small in a building that looked like squatters had inhabited it. While our chef was good. She was a bit preoccupied with something else it seemed. She gave great instructions but not a lot of personality.

Wonderful class! Our instructor was friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and made some delicious eclairs! It was a small group, just my family of four and one other couple, really personalized attention and a great setup.

What experience? The provider canceled the class and tried to book us in a class 3 hrs later. We couldn't make that work. Still waiting for a refund of our fee.

Thank you for your feedback. As we had the opportunity to explain, one of our pastry chefs unfortunately fell ill, which forced us to urgently reorganize our schedule. We were able to reschedule 99% of our guests, but unfortunately, your availability did not allow for an alternative date. We understand your disappointment, but leaving a negative review due to an unforeseen event beyond our control seems unfair and damaging. We regret that you were unable to experience our event, but we cannot recommend this kind of behavior to the TripAdvisor community.

Making the eclairs was great, but we were paired up and had to take turns making the eclairs instead of each having their own cooking set up and experience. I feel like this was miscommunicated and we paid a lot of money to have to take turns.

Unfortunately, the class was cancelled at the last minute. I was scheduled for a 1:00pm class and was texted at 5:45am that it was cancelled and could I make the 9am class. I didn't get the text until 8am and was too far away to make it. My husband rescheduled me or the next day at 9am, but he then received a text asking if I could make the 1pm class because they had changed the itinerary of what they were making and when. I specifically wanted the eclair/pate choux class and we were checking out of our hotel and heading to our river cruise. So...I never got to class, despite efforts, and am still waiting for the refunds from both reservations.

This was a fun class. Loved the small size. I had envisioned eating our treats with the group over tea/coffee. That was not the case. I didn't see coffee/tea and we packed up our pastries to go. They ended up being delicious!

Julie made us feel so welcome in the class. I was alone and it was a good experience. I plan to make these. Next year I hope to return and take a class in macarons.
