All Le Havre Tours & Excursions in 2026

Ash was one of the best tour guides we ever had!! By visiting the German Cemetery in addition to the other regular places, it brought a perspective no other tour can provide. Ash showed us Hope even amidst such tragedy. His knowledge of the area and the war was extensive. We highly recommend the tour thru Viator!!

We recently took this excursion while traveling on a cruiseship stopping at Le Harve. We were met by Sam and were soon entranced by his weaving a tale of the history...His background as a professor was soon apparent as he took us deep into how we got to this place. I've travelled extensively and he is the best guide I have ever had. His knowledge and ability to make this history real was astounding. We were back in plenty of time to get back on the ship after visiting the German and US cemetaries, Utah and Omaha beach. The lunch they provided was perfect while sitting with some time to reflect.

I was skeptical at first if I want to book this tour. This is the last port (in Le Havre) before we disembark the next day. Been to Le Havre before and I am looking the best way to kill the time other than staying on the ship, and try to use up the drink package and get wasted. Been to Paris and stayed for couple of days before. Is it worth the money to stay on a bus for 6 hours total (round trip) and spend couple of hours in Paris and to see places that I have already visited before. I am glad, I did. On the last minute, I decided to book this tour. After I booked, my booking was Pending until the tour operator confirms availability. I got so anxious because the office was already closed and had to wait till the next day. The tour starts at 7:30 AM. At 7:00AM, my booking still Pending. We decided to get ready and took chances and see the operator at the designated meeting place. On the way to the tour meeting place, I tried to call again the tour company and finally, I spoke to one of the representatives. To make a long story short, we were able to join the tour. In Paris, we were met by our tour guide Amir. Amir introduced himself and he is originally from Iran. He is very energetic, great communicator and a good “story teller”. Instead of mentioning dates, names, etc, he tried to paint a picture and tell stories starting from the Eiffel Tower. That tour could have been boring but he made it interesting, dramatic and even engaging. It was one of the best organized tour I’ve ever had. It is worth the money and time. Kudos to you Amir! And yes, It was Amir’s birthday and we all sang Happy Birthday in front of the Eiffel Tower.

We booked a private transfer and city tour in Paris, and the whole experience was excellent! The organization was smooth from the start, with timely reminders that made everything stress-free. Our driver and tour guide, Tariq, was absolutely the best, so accommodating and thoughtful. He gave us great recommendations to make the most of our short time in the city, and thanks to him we were able to enjoy Paris without worrying about logistics. We made it back to Le Havre on time, amazed and happy! All we had to do was sit back, relax, and take in the beauty of Paris!

Many people go to Paris at this stop, but we’ve been there many times and preferred to stay more local. This tour met all of our needs, showing off some beautiful local towns. Our guide, Bastien, was easy to understand, friendly, and overall very helpful. While these two towns were mostly to be explored on our own, Bastien gave good advice about what we could do in our (unfortunately) limited time. Overall, we were very happy to have taken this tour.

Viator provided a bus to Paris from the port of Le Havre and returned us well before the required time. It was a 3 hour journey, with a 15 minute stopover to stretch our legs, and took us directly to the Eiffel Tower area. They also provided a treat of macarons and madeleines as well as a bottle of water which was an unexpected treat.

Great trip with the private driver into Paris. Hugo knew all the great tourist spots to visit with the time we had. We were on our own time at each stop and got to take in the sights without being rushed. He also took us to a few places that were not on our agenda. We would not have been able to view these amazing sights without his knowledge of the area. Slight English language barrier but we were able to work through it.

We arrived on the Viking Jupiter. They offered a Normandy tour but we decided to splurge and get the private tour instead. There we six of us and the money spent was well worth it. Our driver was right on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. We picked up our guide near our first destination of Pointe Du Hoc. He was just great. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I am slowed down by bad knees and our guide went out of his way to make sure I was able to keep up and stay involved along the way. I really appreciated his effort. He also made arrangements for us to stop in at a nice restaurant fora french lunch and guided us through the menu selections , ordering and payment at the end which was not only very helpful but it saved us more time for our tour visits. While at the American Cemetery, we saw the Viking tour unloading their 50-some passengers off of the bus. We were all in agreement that booking the Viator tour was a smart decision. One suggestion, it yeah you almost have to cause you get once you’re out there you’re stuck, but the wind supposed to be yesterday. We were out there quite a hawk and it was cold and windy but then by the time we got to Omaha Beach and then the sun came out. It was just beautiful how we started when the driver showed up. We started start raining on us. It’s gonna be rain all day walking stick. I took the Viking umbrella and use that as that way I was covered either waywould have been to to use the VOX system while walking around. Especially at the American cemetery where they ask you to keep your voices down a bit. Highly recommend this tour.
