Great Castle Day!

Wonderful day. The opulence of the two castles is not to be believed and the lush countryside and views of the Bavarian alps is postcard worthy. We were very impressed by the luxurious bus with excellent coffee and tasty snacks - fresh fruit and candy! Timing was perfect. We had enough time at each stop to enjoy the castles and not feel rushed. Hanae is a lovely tour guide and kept the group informed and organized. Jordan is a friendly and skilled bus driver. I highly recommend this day trip.

History, scenery and comfort.

Great tour! Cansel (the tour guide) was knowledgeable and had a great personality. We had a luxury bus with a terrific driver. Drinks and snacks are provided and ample time was given at each site. Vacation planning and traveling can get hectic, this tour was a wonderful relaxing activity that I feel is the whole point of a vacation.

We had a most knowledgeable and wonderful guide through Dachau Concentration Camp. The guide was great at giving lots of historical influence, but also shared personally how his family was directly involved in the camp as prisoners. It was truly wonderful to hear his perspective. I believe this is a place everyone should visit. It is a humbling experience. But worth the time.

Fabulous in every way

This tour was beyond outstanding in every way. Viewing these gorgeous castles and learning about their history, seeing all the beautiful towns, eating amazing food, seeing the Bavarian Alps. Just perfect. Our guide was Ceyhun and he was one of my favorite guides ever. He spoke slowly and clearly and repeated instructions so everyone would know exactly what to do and when. He was super kind and thoughtful and organized. The bus was fabulous, two-tier, every seat had a phone charger, and they provided all kinds of drinks inexpensively. Don't miss this tour and try to book with this company and guide.

Spring in Salzburg

We had several days in Munich and decided to do a day trip to Salzburg via train. The highlight of the trip was Mat, our guide for the day. Mat was knowledgable not only in the history of Salzburg and Austria, but also in the history of the region, especially from the mid 1800's through the cold war. Although this was a trip to explore Salzburg, we learned a lot about European history, and how it affects the world today. There is plenty of free time to explore different parts of the old city, including the fort if you were so inclined. I would recommend lunch at the Steigl Brewery and coffee and torte at Cafe Sacher.

The tour was well worth...

The tour was well worth doing. Our guide Kyle first outfitted us from a selection of bike sizes to suit everyone. He then gave us a safety primer, as we would be biking through various parts of the city, and not always on bike paths. It was not a very strenuous ride, as we stopped frequently to have the various areas and buildings explained. Kyle was very knowledgable about the history of the city (despite being from California), and dispensed a lot of interesting information without becoming boring - and with just enough humour and wit to be quite entertaining. Our visit to the beer garden was curtailed due to less than ideal weather, but Kyle pivoted and brought us to a part of town where we had a good selection of local restaurants to choose from for our lunch stop. I would highly recommend this excursion.

Neuschwanstein Castle provided a delightful escape from the busy city of Munich. The commute was smooth, with reliable and clean transportation, making the journey very comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking to explore a charming town near Munich. The food and beverages were reasonably priced. Great Trip!

Very good, informative trip. The museum was great and walking through the underground tunnel system was fascinating. Beware that if the weather is bad, you can’t go up to the Eagle’s Nest, which was a major disappointment, but not the tour company’s fault since they are focused on safety. They made up for it with extra time in Berchtesgaden, a beautiful medieval town.
