Super awesome tour! Aileen was very knowledgeable and super intriguing! Appreciated her a lot and we learned so many things.
Very informative! Our guide was a Munich local and she was excellent at explaining such a complex topic by providing a detailed breakdown of the historical timeline of events and the human psychology behind everything. Highly recommend it to history nerds!
Our guide was very historically knowledgable but in no way "dry"; that is, he added many anecdotes and often amusing tidbits about a serious subject and he was effective at subtly drawing parallels between the history he spoke of and our modern society. The tour was not overly strenuous but guests should be prepared to walk for 2.5 hours. There was at least one stop with public restrooms and an opportunity to purchase water, but i recommend guests to be prepared, especially in hotter weather.
The third reich tour was a great way to see the city and the influence of the nazi reign. Our guide Nick was excellent and showed us many historical sights and their significance. Highly recommended

Sara is an excellent tour host for the Third Reich Walking tour. She combines impressive knowledge of those times, their historical and sociological origins and their impact on Munich and Germany in general up through today. She is very engaging, has good two way interaction with tourists she is guiding and speaks English very well. She makes the whole tour interesting. I think she was literally “ born” to guide this tour.

This tour is very light on history. We basically had our guide read two existing signs to explain what had happened at each location, and then he rattled off dates and facts about World War Two that were unrelated to Munich

We took the tour with Viktoria. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the tour. It was advertised as a 2.5 hour tour. At the beginning of the tour, the tour guide said it’d be about 2 hours, which I was surprised by. About 1.5 hours in, another guest asked the tour guide if we’d be going close to Marienplatz around 5pm because she was interested in seeing the glockenspiel. Viktoria originally told her no, but then at 4:50 she changed her mind so we had to race through a very crowded area to try to make it in time. While it was nice of her to accommodate this guest, she didn’t actually poll the group to hear if anyone else really wanted this. She then ended the tour at 5pm at the Marienplatz, 30 min shorter than what was advertised. If everything else about the tour was great, maybe I wouldn’t have minded this so much.
The majority of the tour was also pretty difficult to hear. Understandably, it’s a walking tour in a city so there’s traffic, pedestrians, etc going on around. There were several stops along the tour where I missed half if not more of the information because if Viktoria turned the opposite way, I couldn’t hear her. Maybe this could be remedied by smaller groups, I’m not sure. There were times we also stopped right next to the street, which again, it’s a city so I understand. But it still significantly impacted what I got from the tour. I’m not sure if the information provided by the tour is curated by Radius, or if Viktoria took liberties and talked about topics she preferred to talk about, but I feel like in general we didn’t get a lot of detail at all. I was left quite disappointed in the quality of the information.
The tour was great and so was Victoria! She was very sweet and knowledgeable. It was difficult to hear at times though.

Such a great tour. My adult kids were skeptical about booking tours and filling our days with “planned” activities, but we were all so glad we did. We learned so many things about Munich that we’d have never known without taking this tour. Jake was a thoughtful tour guide who gave us details beyond the context of the tour. Just the right amount of education and entertainment for such a somber topic. The tour is fast and a great introduction to significant historical events you’d not likely know otherwise.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and clearly excited about the subject and the tour! We were extremely impressed and would definitely do the tour again!

This tour was great. We learned about the rise of the Third Reich as well as Adolf Hitler. If you are a fan of history and history tours, then this is a good experience. Conny is a good tour guide and presented photos of Munich from over the last 100 years. Also, you do see Munich and its charming Old Town.

The Third Reich and WWII tour was generally informative, and the guide was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. However, the tour lacked structure, often jumping between topics and assuming a high level of prior knowledge on niche aspects of WWII. As a result, several site visits felt under‑contextualized. Overall worthwhile, but the execution could have been more focused and cohesive.

This was an excellent, easy and low intensity walking tour of some key sites of the Nazi regime in Munich. The best part was Dan’s (our tour guide) knowledge of history and his personal/family experience during this time. Dan was great and I learned more about European history in 2.5 hours than I have in my life! Highly recommend
