Ludwig II was not mad

Excellent organisation, set off as soon as everyone was on the coach, which was brilliant. Our guide was Monika and driver was Fladdy? and they were excellent at giving information, keeping everything running on time and providing tea and coffee and snacks. Castle and palace were amazing, it was nice to see Oberamergau but the time there was too short maybe an hour rather than half an hour would be better.

Great tour!

I typically don’t write reviews, but this tour was awesome. We mainly booked for Neuschwanstein Castle, but the grounds on Linderhof were also beautiful! Everything was planned out perfectly and gave us plenty of time to spend at Neuschwanstein Castle. Our tour guide, Sybil, was very knowledgeable about everything and was very helpful with directions. I highly recommend this tour if you’re thinking about going to see any of these castles.

We had a most knowledgeable and wonderful guide through Dachau Concentration Camp. The guide was great at giving lots of historical influence, but also shared personally how his family was directly involved in the camp as prisoners. It was truly wonderful to hear his perspective. I believe this is a place everyone should visit. It is a humbling experience. But worth the time.

Fabulous in every way

This tour was beyond outstanding in every way. Viewing these gorgeous castles and learning about their history, seeing all the beautiful towns, eating amazing food, seeing the Bavarian Alps. Just perfect. Our guide was Ceyhun and he was one of my favorite guides ever. He spoke slowly and clearly and repeated instructions so everyone would know exactly what to do and when. He was super kind and thoughtful and organized. The bus was fabulous, two-tier, every seat had a phone charger, and they provided all kinds of drinks inexpensively. Don't miss this tour and try to book with this company and guide.

Maxine was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our group was large, 25 people and the train was delayed by about 20 minutes to Salzburg but she still managed the group and time well. Worth doing as a tour

Whilst you could easily do this visit independently by navigating the public transportation and using the memorial’s audio guide, I think having a knowledgeable tour guide made it a more engaging and complete experience. It is a lot to take in in a few hours and Tom moved us through at a decent pace without it feeling too rushed. It was helpful to have someone explain the history, walk through the main timeline of events and give insight into the prisoners experiences. We were a group of 12 which was ideal, and Tom managed the group well and went out of his way to answer questions. Highly recommend this.

The tour was well worth...

The tour was well worth doing. Our guide Kyle first outfitted us from a selection of bike sizes to suit everyone. He then gave us a safety primer, as we would be biking through various parts of the city, and not always on bike paths. It was not a very strenuous ride, as we stopped frequently to have the various areas and buildings explained. Kyle was very knowledgable about the history of the city (despite being from California), and dispensed a lot of interesting information without becoming boring - and with just enough humour and wit to be quite entertaining. Our visit to the beer garden was curtailed due to less than ideal weather, but Kyle pivoted and brought us to a part of town where we had a good selection of local restaurants to choose from for our lunch stop. I would highly recommend this excursion.

We had a fantastic day visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, and the Linderhof Palace. The tour was very well organised, and everything ran smoothly. Our guide Cansel and driver were amazing - Cansel took great care of us and shared valuable information that really enhanced the experience. It’s a long day with a lot of walking, and you really need to be fit to manage to whole day of walking but absolutely worth it. A great way to see these incredible places stress-free.

Wonderful tour!

Our tour guide Elisabeth and our driver were amazing! Elisabeth provided so many historical facts and really made the tour enjoyable. The scenery you get to see on this tour is unbeatable. The only thing that was disappointing for us was we did not have enough time to see the bunker after going to Eagles nest. The only place available for lunch kept us waiting for so long due to a shortage of staff that day. The food and waiter we had were great, we just missed a big chunk of the tour because of it. We would still highly recommend the tour! I’m sure this is not an issue all the time.
