Excellent Coverage of WWII Historical Events
Attending this event is a must when visiting Munich, the birthplace and home of the Third Reich during WWII. Our guide was Josh and he is the perfect educator if you want to know about the Rise snd Fall of its Governing Body. He delivered the facts in a balanced yet realistic tone, and in at times a dramatic manner that made us more aware of how dangerously close our world has become to repeating that ugly chapter of history.

Irish Kieth was so...
Irish Kieth was so informative and had so much knowledgeable not just about the site but about the entirety of the war. He was able to answer all questions the group had. It is somber place to visit and one that we do not recommend for those under 15 years of age. As I have said it is a sombering site to visit and hearing the stories of survivors is devastating to hesr what they went through. However it is part of history and one that the world should learn from.

A day trip to a place that was once hell
This is one of those excursions that everyone should take part in. The trip to this concentration camp is a critical look at real life history. A sobering experience to say the least. It starts on a local train as it’s not that far from downtown Munich. It doesn’t take an imagination to feel what prisoners of that day felt as he walked through the grounds. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very honest about what happened in those days. I would recommend this to anyone who travel to Germany, just to get a feel of what it was really like to be tangled up in that war.

Wonderful historical experience with James
Excellent tour and experience booked through Viator. James was an awesome and extremely knowledgeable historian/tour guide. He has a passion for the history of the time and Dachau. Meeting spot is easy- traffic getting there is not. We planned 30 min early and was exactly there at 9:00 but it was a stressful uber ride. Munich is a busy city and lots of events happening. There is a rush hour. Once on the tour- James skillfully navigated the group through a bus and a train. Thank you James!
