Munich Ghost Tour
The tour started in the center of the city so it was easy to find the meeting point. We really enjoyed wandering through the city seeing new sites. Our guide, Hugo, was exceptional. We were very entertained with all the stories and he had everyone in a great mood!

An honest history of the rise of the Nazi party in Munich.
Josh was extremely insightful and as a historian made me think deeply about what I previously thought may have led to the rise of the Nazi party. Me and my brother have not stopped talking about the tour over many beers since. If you want to know about the dark history of this wonderful city. Josh is your man. He pulls no punches and is refreshing in his honesty on how his nation succumbed to radicalism.

Great way to begin your travel in Bavaria
We took this tour on our first day in Munich. It's an interesting and easy-going way to get acclimated to the beer culture in Bavaria. We learned about the different breweries of Munich and some history and contemporary information about Oktoberfest as we explored the Oktoberfest museum. The only minor disappointment was that while we visited Hofbräuhaus briefly, we did not stay there for a beer or any food. We were told that the food there is not consistently good and so it was better to have the dinner in a different restaurant. Hofbräuhaus was a big part of what drew us to this particular tour, so it was a small let down to only walk through it and not have a beer there. The guide was knowledgeable and funny. Overall I would recommend this tour to others.

Beautiful trip around Munich!
Beautifully curated trip around a town new to us. Comfortable and well-maintained bikes, which eleven of us rode around the city. Sam was knowledgeable and engaging. Little bit of art, religious, and world war history all sprinkled in. No bike experience needed as nearly all of the ride is on low-stress infrastructure. Highly recommended!
*Pro-tip: Get a pretzel at the biergarten!

I was really happy with this tour!
I really liked the guided tour with City Unscripted. I got what I asked for and that felt good. My guide was Michelle and I think that she was nice, helpful and knowledgable about Munich's history.
Before my trip to Munich, I got to chat with Michelle in a private chat group at City Unscripted's web page. That was very good. I asked her questions and got answers. I can absolutely see myself booking other activities with City Unscripted in the future.

Hands down the best walking tour of my life! Ozzy’s passion for his city is contagious, and his knowledge goes far beyond standard history lessons. He gives you a true feel for current Bavarian culture, plus incredibly useful tips and tricks for navigating the city during your stay. Book this on your first day in Munich—you won't regret it!

Great tour!
Our tour was perfect! Adriana was easy to communicate with to meet up and she was on time! We had three kids with us ages 10, 8, and 4 years old. She kept them engaged the entire time! Our guid was very knowledgeable and had great stories! She even gave us recommendations on what to do at the end of our tour! We were able to see so much of the town in such a short period of time! Money well spent!

Brilliant tour guide
Superb tour with an exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly guide. Michael had a wealth of information on Germany’s history which he shared at various points throughout our tour. It was clear he was passionate about his subject giving vivid recollections of events prior to the Second World War.

Great Time
Highly recommend beginning your journey in Germany with this tour. I was a little worried biking with my family in a foreign city but since there is a guide in front of the pack as well as behind the end of the pack, I felt a little more reassured. Our guide Kyle was very kind and even gave great tips for our stay while in Germany. The German train system can be extremely confusing and costly (especially if you don’t speak German) and he gave us some great tips that saved us a lot of money. Really appreciate the good people who work here. After our trip everyone agreed this was the best thing that we did while in Munich.

Amazing Experience and Guide!
Yasmina was an amazing tour guide from the very beginning! She immediately brought such positive energy and genuine passion for the city, its food, and its culture. At every stop, she shared fascinating stories and insights about each location, dish, and drink, making the experience so much more meaningful.
I especially appreciated how knowledgeable she was. Whenever someone in the group asked a question, she always had a thoughtful and informative answer. Her enthusiasm and expertise truly made the tour unforgettable.
The food and drink selection was also absolutely worth the price. There was plenty to enjoy, and the variety allowed us to experience so many authentic Bavarian flavors. By the end of the tour, I genuinely felt like I had tasted the best of Bavaria!

Tour of Munich
We really enjoyed the walking tour with Anna. It was an excellent introduction to Munich, providing fascinating insights into the city’s history, Bavarian culture, and local traditions. Anna was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, making the tour both informative and enjoyable.
The route covered all the main attractions at a comfortable pace, and the length of the tour was just right. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Munich for the first time.
The only slight downside was the location of the office, where there were a few homeless and intoxicated people outside, but this didn’t affect the quality of the tour itself.

Great walking tour
We really enjoyed our walking tour. Our guide, Bernie, was so nice and full of great information. He kept it interesting and we learned a lot about the history of each of the stops we made. We saw a lot and our whole family of five had a lot of fun - even though it was really cold day. Definitely recommend!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Despite Munich’s efficient public transport system, its Old Town and shopping areas are compact and ideally explored on foot. If you’re not familiar with the city, Munich walking tours offer the perfect solution. While some tours delve into World War II sites associated with the Third Reich, others cover Old Town highlights, ghost-themed adventures, culinary explorations, and customizable private experiences. Whether you’re drawn to history, culture, or gastronomy, discovering the city on foot can be tailored to every preference.
