Fantastic tour with the best guides!

The premium tour was well worth it! Our wonderful driver Vlade met us with coffee, snacks and water. There was a snack table and small bathroom on the bus the whole trip! Deyse was a fantastic guide who was very engaging as well as passing on all the information while we were traveling and told stories that helped us understand the castle. Neuschwanstein was simply jaw-dropping and she told us exactly where to go for the best view (Marianbrucke). Lindenhof Castle was also quite beautiful and Vlade met us with a beer when we boarded the bus to return to Munich. There was one disappointment which we wish the would have handled differently. We got 1/2 in Oberammergau which was enough to go into a gift shop, get some ice cram and go to the bathroom. We could have used that 1/2 hour at Lindehof where we were rushed to get back to the bus after the tour. Just the two castles with 1/2 extra at Lindehof would have been perfect. We hope the tour operators will consider changing it. Overall, the trip was unforgettable and our guide and driver were the best. Great job!

Our guide was knowledgeable and had a lovely personality. She gave a good summary of the geopolitical environment which allowed the Nazi party to come to power and then explained the relatively minor role of the eagles nest but major role of Hitlers vacation home Berghof in Obersalzberg. She was quite correct that the documentation centre and bunkers are well worth the visit after coming down from the Eagles nest.

Great value and experience

Great tour! Highly recommend it. The value is great, and they were so nice and accommodating when I felt sick the day of the tour and they were able to offer me a slot the day after. The guide will give you a lot of information on the way to the attractions. The driver was really nice too and drive smoothly. Great way to see some things on the way to the castles as well. This tour to Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstein Castle was absolutely worth it. The landscapes during the drive alone make the trip worthwhile, the scenery is stunning from start to finish. The palace and castle themselves are incredible, and the views are amazing. Monica was also very knowledgeable and engaging, sharing interesting information in a way that was easy and enjoyable to listen to. I really enjoyed listening to her and she really added to the overall experience.

Was not expecting much....

Was not expecting much. Went with a friend who wanted to see the Cinderella castle. Jeremy really brought the history to life and I enjoyed his humor. He provided just enough well-timed narration throughout the day. Thank you. Even w torrential downpour and the bus breaking down, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
