Meet and greet the tour guide and group near the main station in central Munich. There will be a brief introduction to Munich before beginning your ride around the capital city of Bavaria and one of the most popular destinations in Germany.
Because there is so much to see in Munich, this tour takes advantage of the many old pedestrianized medieval streets the city offers. With frequent stops to learn about the sites and to take pictures, it all makes for a most enjoyable way to explore this fascinating place.
Cycling in Munich accounts for 17 percent of all traffic. In fact, Munich named itself Germany's Radlhauptstadt, or bicycle capital, in the summer of 2010. Around 80 percent of its population owns a bicycle.
Ride through Königsplatz, a square built in the style of European neo-classicism in the 19th century and a center of cultural life in Munich. There’s also the large Odeonsplatz square and Marienplatz, the city’s main square since 1158.
Also, ride along Englischer Garten, Europe's largest city park and stop at the Chinese Tower beer garden (Chinesischer Turm) for a break and beverage.
Throughout the tour, the guide will provide ample information about Munich’s past and present — and maybe even offer some insight into where the city is headed in the future. It’s a great introduction to the city of Munich and all that it offers its visitors and residents alike. Your tour ends back in central Munich.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide, Helio, was fantastic. Not only did he ensure everyone’s safety by clearly communicating stops and directions, he was also knowledgeable about the history and had lots of good recommendations for things to do in the city. He was funny and personable. The tour itself was also really cool. We got to experience the highlights and get to know the city in a new way.

Our tour guide, Helio, was fantastic! Although it rained for the whole tour, we had a blast! Helio was friendly, informative, and very engaging with our group. He made sure we knew all the safety features and laws to ensure a fun and safe ride in a busy city. We had many stops and learned about Munich's rich history. The ride through the park was my favorite part. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Helio led our tour and did a great job. Fast way to see Munich landmarks on a 10k easy ride. Helio speaks several languages and delivered the overview info in an interesting and humorous way. Highly recommend this tour.

Great way to start our trip in Munich. Beautiful bike ride through the city and park. Riding bikes in the city is very easy and allows the group to cover a lot of ground. There are some fun stops to get a beer at the Chinese beer garden or see the surfers in the canal. Also some beautiful and historic monuments and buildings with a rich history. Overall we loved this tour and our guide Patrick!

We had a fantastic 3-hour bike tour with Michelle. Her deep knowledge of Munich’s history really brought the city to life as she guided us through key sites, including locations tied to the rise of the Nazi party and other significant historical landmarks. We especially enjoyed riding along the scenic Isar River and our relaxing stop at the beer garden in the English Garden. A great mix of history, culture, and fun.

This is not the tour we expected.
We have been on many bike tours in many countries and this felt wrong from the start.
We were greeted with disdain about our biking ability because we were Aussies, then the bikes were limited with one small bike offered and another broken one offered.
Michelle seemed to be in a rush and was upset when we couldn't keep up with her hurried pace. This is something we haven't experienced in the past and choose a bike tour as it's generally fun, carefree and a great way to see a city.
I would not recommend this tour.

Our family (parents and older teens) spent an enjoyable 3 hours on this bike tour with Iain. Iain’s love of history and of München shown through as he biked us around his adopted city. We particularly enjoyed biking along the Izar River and our stop at the beer garden in the English Garden. He adapted the tour to our interests and questions. Thank you!

I liked that we was able to test the bikes out before using them to find one that suited. Basic tour but places we stopped at were nice & a chance to see the city & get your bearings. Helio explained things very well & kept the ride at a nice pace.

Great way to see the highlights of Munich. Our tour guide, Patrick was excellent. He provided the perfect amount of context and history. Bikes were comfortable and we were able to see so much of the city on day one of our trip. Would definitely recommend!
