This tour is on public transport, you are guided onto trains and then a bus. But this isn’t an issue and the guide takes you through this. Our guide, Aileen, was approachable and knowledgeable. Summised the site well, and gave us adequate time to explore on our own.

Adam was a fantastic guide, very professional and very knowledgeable about Dachau. Very heavy content and hard to hear, but is important that everyone should learn. The exhibition was excellent and provided very interesting information regarding the camp itself and life as a prisoner and the trials that took place in Dachau after its liberation.

Adam was extremely likable and informative. He carried the emotions necessary for such a tour and it was an incredible experience for my son and I.

It’s a moving experience

Todd_B, Mar 2026
It’s a moving experience, wanted more time there to learn and try to understand but I’m not sure anyone can really understand this sad part of history. Scott was our guide and explained a lot and was also open to questions on a not so easy subject to talk about.

Everyone should experience this type of tour. It was heavy but important to remember. You could spend all day at the site.

Our tour guide, Marcin, did a wonderful job of educating us on this complex and haunting history. We learned so much and appreciated that we were led by someone who obviously has extensive knowledge and passion for helping others understand and remember the lives of so many. Everyone should take this tour. It is not always easy but was something we will never forget. Having transportation taken care of once we met our guide in Munich was great and stress free. Such a great value for a really memorable experience.

Amazing informative Dachau memorial tour

Heather_F, Feb 2026
Very informative and very sad. Keith was great and very passionate about his role in sharing the stories of those who died at the hands of terrible people. I loved how he was empathetic and moved as he told the story as those who died, will never be forgotten. I highly recommend Keith. Our small group was great. Thank you Keith! This tour is a walking tour with a lot of standing . Be sure you have comfortable shoes and are physically able to stand for up to 3-4 hours and walk for approximately 5. It’s a great pace (not fast) but you have to be physically able. The tour is also moving. You see graphic, real images of the worst imaginable, horrific treatment of innocent people. This should have never happened! Never again!

First camp

Myles_S, Feb 2026
Great tour guide and learning more about the holocaust was interesting. The guide added important context that would have been easy to miss had I been unguided.

Excellent - so much information

Annaleisa_G, Feb 2026
Aileen, the guide was excellent. Lots of information, so much I never knew about Dachau. For me the day wasn't actually long enough. I wanted to go round again and look at all the exhibits and read everything. It isn't necessary but I wanted to take it all in. I would absolutely recommend.

Somber and enlightening...

Timothy_W, Jan 2026
We had the best tour guide , Keith. Very informative and would gladly answer any and all questions. This is a very important experience. I think everyone who visits Munich should see the atrocities of the Hitler regime. This is about the victims of this and not the villains mostly. You will see how these people were treated., experiments they underwent and how everyday life was, if you can call it a life. A MUST EXPERIENCE.

Must join Tour

ChingManMyra_C, Jan 2026
We joined the tour in July 2025. It was a good experience to learn more about history from the tour guide, an Australian gentleman who was very friendly, informative and professional. Highly recommend the tour if never been to the Concentration Camp.

Dachau Tour with Adam

Dinday_C, Jan 2026
We could not have asked for a better tour guide. Adam was extremely knowledgeable, honest, and very effective in managing the group. He presented the history clearly and thoughtfully, striking the right balance between facts and humanity. Logistically, the tour was very smooth - we took a train to Dachau followed by a short bus ride to the site, and everything was well organized. The experience itself was deeply sobering, but I am very glad we did it. You can read about this period in history, but visiting an actual concentration camp is entirely different - it truly hits you on a deeper level. This is something that should never happen again. I was emotional throughout the tour, so it’s important to know that this is a heavy and intense experience. If you’re visiting with children, I highly recommend planning something light or uplifting afterward.

Well worth it

Brutal, but necessary experience to see what actually happened -- instead of just reading about it or watching a documentary.

Kirstyn_C, Dec 2025
We went with Marcin to Dachau and he was an amazing guide. He made sure we got in and ensured we saw everything. Marcin managed to present the heavy topics with the appropriate gravity without glorifying or brushing over anything. We really appreciated his thoroughness and how he was knowledgeable about not just Dachau, but how the events at Dachau connected with other concentration camps throughout Europe.

Don’t miss.

Tolby_C, Dec 2025
If you come to Munich this is a must do experience. Everyone human alive should take this tour. It is an emotional experience.

Dachau day tour

Cory_F, Dec 2025
Our tour guide Tom did an amazing job of leading our group through the history of Hitler’s rise to power, the creation of Dachau its dark history. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to tour Dachau

History lesson

Carol_R, Dec 2025
Keith was an excellent guide. His wealth of knowledge made the trip so enjoyable. He brought knowledge to a very sobering event. I highly recommend this tour.

Go with a guide!

sallymac, Dec 2025
Amazing tour, Adam so passionate and knowledgeable. Limited need for questions as he answered most during his talks. I debated on this trip at this time of the year, so thankful we decided to go.

A must-do tour when in Munich

Jennifer_d, Dec 2025
What a tour this was. Our guide, Marcin, was truly top-notch. He read the group effortlessly, was exceptionally well-informed, and focused on the key details that mattered most to us, making the experience deeply personal and meaningful. Many people who had visited Dachau warned me that it could be confronting—and they were right. Walking through the camp was powerful and sobering. The cold, overcast weather only heightened the atmosphere, almost transporting me back in time to when these events unfolded. Anyone can do a self-guided visit, but the true value of joining a tour lies in having an experienced guide who brings history to life, provides context, and helps you truly understand what you are seeing. This tour didn’t just inform—it immersed us in history. A must-do for anyone visiting Munich. It's really good value for money.

A must see

Angela_E, Dec 2025
Everyone should go and see the concentration camp. Especially with all the events happening in the world right now. And hopefully never again Adam was very Knowledgeable and very passionate about his job.

Dachau Dec 25

Lisa_S, Dec 2025
Guide Tom very knowledgeable and engaged well with his audience. Able to ask questions. Whilst I would recommend the tour of Dachau, for me and fellow travellers we would have liked some free time to look at the information in the museum and to visit the memorial sites, as there was no allocated time for this. As we were only in the camp for just under 3 hrs, this would have given us at least 1 hr of free time to look around ourselves as the trip booked was for 6 hrs including travel time.

Dachau tour great history lesson

Denise_G, Dec 2025
This is a good tour to learn about the history of Dachau. We were provided a lot of history on this tour and our guide, Tom was fantastic! He had a good sense of humor on our train ride out to Dachau and it was obvious he has studied for many years on the topic. I would definitely recommend the tour and this tour company.

Great tour!

JoAnn_B, Dec 2025
Our tour to Dachau was amazing! It was well run and our tour guide Hein was really informative. There was enough time to see and do all that was needed.
