Our guide Adam was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He has studied the history of Nuremberg extensively and actually had a personal interaction with one of the inmates. Because of his personal connection with one of the actual prisoners who survived, he provides an unbelievably personal detailed account of the transgressions at Dachau. If you are an English speaker, Adam is originally from Australia and speaks German without an accent. He met us in the lobby of our hotel and escorted us throughout the whole day with many tips and insights along the way. There was only my wife and I on the tour and it was not only extremely personal but incredibly informational and informative. This was one of the best tours we have ever had in our travels around the world. I have read the reviews on the other guides, but obviously I do not know them. If you are English or German speaking, please ask for Adam by name as he is incredible. Thank you, Adam for an unbelievable experience.

Markus was amazing during our very humbling, reflective visit. So full of information. I couldn't recommend him more! Our family spanned 3 generations and he was able to relate the information to all of us and fill in gaps of our understanding of Nazi history. Marsin was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and had answers for all our questions. He got a mobile scooter for my husband as he was unable to walk for the length of the tour at Dachau. He was attentive and friendly.

This tour was amazing, sobering, powerful, informative. I can't think of enough words to adequately describe it. Touring a concentration camp is not a happy experience but so important to ensure this can never happen again. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions, often even before we asked them. The private experience was worth every penny so that we had the attention of our guide, and she was able to tailor the tour to our interests, questions, pace, etc. I highly recommend this tour!!!

Tom had lots of good information on the various parts of Dachau. It was quite the learning experience, and it was lovely to have a knowledgeable person to help us navigate. It was also nice to not have to worry about how to get there and back. Highly recommend.

Marcin was the most knowledgeable and empathetic tour guide you could ever ask for. He spent so much time with us and addressed all of our questions throughly. His tour was very thoughtful to the events and the victims of the camp. Every minute we spent with him was meaningful. We felt comfortable with him learning about such a difficult and tragic topic. My husband and I were with our two teenage daughters and we all felt equally as comfortable with him and we all learned so much. On a lighter note, he saved my husband who almost forgot his wallet on the train and he also recommended an awesome restaurant for us for lunch in Munich. I cannot say enough great things about Marcin and this tour!

Mat was originally from Great Britain but has taken time and energy to learn about the site and events.
He picked us up at the hotel and walked us to the subway for our trip to Dachau. He took the time to find out why we had come and our expectations. He gave us great historical background and was open to all questions. Our questions were not just event focused but also on current day.
Hot to say it was a pleasant day but it was a worthy journey and Mat made it a point to see that we (r women) were comfortable and had compassion for us. We were a bit surprised at his openness in discussing current events.
