Itinerary
Embark on a full-day fairytale castle excursion starting with a Munich pickup. To boost comfort levels, the journey takes place in an air-conditioned coach equipped with panoramic windows and onboard facilities, including a restroom. To ensure you don’t miss any highlights of the Bavarian Alps, onboard commentary is provided along the way, with snacks and drinks as an extra perk.
Upon reaching Neuschwanstein Castle, skip-the-line entry and a castle tour await, so you can discover the treasures and lavish interiors. Then, after the tour, you can enjoy leisure time for lunch or shopping at your own pace.
Later, reboard the coach to visit Oberammergau village, which you're free to explore independently, followed by a final stop and guided tour of Linderhof Castle, before a relaxing journey back to Munich.

- A moderate amount of walking is involved to reach the castles and inside Neuschwanstein there is approx. 350 steps
- In order to use the lift at Neuschwanstein, guests are required to contact the castle directly.

What an incredible trip! Sven was our guide and he was absolutely wonderful. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The palace grounds were beautiful and the little town we stopped into was so charming. I am so happy we decided to do this trip. Such a great way to see the countryside and some incredible sights. The refreshments on the bus were also definitely appreciated, and our ride was super comfortable. Loved it!

First class all the way. Ceyhun was a wealth of knowledge. The bus even had a toilet. Snacks were always available. Everything was explained before it happened which was a first for us.
This was a fantastic tour. It is a long day but worth it. Our tour guide Dayse was fantastic, very knowledgeable, guided us through each stop and had a great personality. I recommend the premium tour for the smaller group, snacks, and extra stop at Oberammagau. I wish we had more time there it was such a cute town. The castles, and views are amazing. It was everything I had hoped for and more. Keep in mind it is a lot of walking and many steps for those that may have mobility issues.
We had an amazing experience with Jacqueline and Tom. Jacqueline gave us an in depth overview of how the tour(s) would go and also gave us behind the scenes information and history about the sites we visited. I highly recommend a tour with Jacqueline and Tom!
Very nice tour guide and driver. Everything went very smooth and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. A must do when visiting Munich.
Overall, this was a great experience worth the time and money. Great option to get out of the city for a day and see some incredible, historic architecture. The only reason I docked a star is because I wish our tour guide had done a better job of people/time management. When we got to the parking below Neuschwanstein, I told my tour guide I was headed to the bathroom, which had a huge line. My group got on the shuttle without me, and I had to power walk up the hill to catch up with them. When I finally did, she didn’t seem to notice or care that I almost missed them and my timed entry (I own that it’s my fault I was late, but I wish she would have at least noticed I wasn’t there!). I also had no idea how to spend my time after the guided tour. I appreciated being able to wander around but figured I’d leave the bridge for a quick view before I hopped on the shuttle down. But the bridge was packed, and there was no way I’d make it in time. I wish she’d told us to prioritize the bridge first…maybe she did but I missed it? Anyway, I think that’s one of the benefits of tours like this — paying extra so you always know when and where to be to do the best things. I would have liked a little more proactive management, but overall I liked the experience and would recommend to a friend (with the caveat they use the bathroom on the bus and prioritize the bridge!).
Wow, this was absolutely the best tour we took while visiting Munich .. Johny and his driver (sorry I have forgotten name) were incredible. The bus was so comfortable. There were more than enough seats so it did not feel crowded. There was coffee; drinks and a bathroom (hidden near stairs) on board. Johny gave entertaining and informative information throughout. We didn’t have to worry about buying tickets or figuring out when to enter the castles. I would absolutely recommend this tour!! Danke!!
We really enjoyed our day yesterday visiting Neuschwanstein castle, Linderhof palace, and the charming Bavarian town of
Oberammergau. The coach was very comfortable, very clean, and had a spotless bathroom. Enjoying the onboard snacks and drinks, while watching the beautiful countryside pass by was a real treat. Our driver was very attentive and professional, navigating the small country roads with great skill.
Our guide, Johnny, shared fascinating stories along the way, bringing history to life. He was kind, patient, and attentive to everyone’s needs.
Yesterday was certainly one of our most memorable days in Bavaria!

A long day trip made thoroughly enjoyable by Monica, our tour guide. Personable, very knowledgable, and clearly enthusiastic about her job. She said she also conducts other tours as well, so her experience, both with local destinations and with multitudes of tourists with varying levels of need and knowledge, was evidenced by her capacity to move all of along on a picturesque and informative journey. We loved the castle, the well-stocked tour bus for brief stops, and a safe, courteous, and professional driver. We would definitely recommend this tour and Monica to other travelers.

This was a nice tour. We enjoyed the tour. The guide was very informative. The bus was comfortable. We enjoyed the castles and the small village however it would have been nice to have more time at the village and at Linderholf,I felt very rushed at both.

Incredible tour. The bus was comfortable and had wonderful drinks and snacks, and the tour guide, Ursula, was wonderful. The 3 stops were well timed, and the information provided throughout the day was fascinating. We took our 21 month old, and while he didn’t make it through either castle, Linderhof would have been possible since there weren’t stairs. He was pushed up to Neuschwanstein, but the stairs wouldn’t have worked for him without his stroller and confinement, yet he still handled the day well.

The bus pick up point was at Karlsplatz. It was a small group but the bus was full size tourist bus with coffee making facilities and snacks. The seats were comfortable, AC was functional and the ride was smooth. Deysi was an excellent guide. the weather was kind I had a great day.

I’m so glad I opted for the VIP experience. It was great. Felt a little rushed at times….but there was a lot to see. Faizan was a great tour guide and Mr.Smiley an excellent driver. We had outstanding weather and that added to the enjoyment. . I wouldn’t hesitate to spend the extra bucks and go the premium route.

Neuschwanstein Castle was a great experience from start to finish. The bus was comfortable, with good seats, snacks, and a bathroom on board. Guide Jackie was knowledgeable and made the trip more engaging, and driver Smiley kept things smooth throughout. The castle itself is stunning, and every stop along the way was well paced and worth the visit. Highly recommend.

This tour was well worth the little extra we paid. The bus was very comfortable. Our Guide Ursula was very knowledgeable and organized. Our bus driver, Smiley made a great coffee. The Castles were beautiful. All in all an amazing day well worth it.

This tour was amazing! From the prompt department time, friendliness of the tour guide and driver. Good snacks, clean bus, the tickets to the castle are included so no dealing with lines and traffic. Comfort and style plus the best history to go with the tour. Ursula and Smiley were just great and this tour was worth every dollar spent on zero aggravation or wasted time!

Absolutely fantastic, and Annette was a wonderful tour guide! We did the VIP version which was very worth it since they took care of all tickets and logistics for you and you just got to relax and show up at the times they told you to. Even though we saw a lot that day, everything was well paced out and didn’t feel rushed. Just a note that you should make sure to have cash for the shuttle bus up to Neuschwanstein (3.50 euros per person) since they didn’t accept cards.

This is a tour of history through the castles and locations visited. Warning; there is significant up- and down-hill walking and many staircases.

The bus was extremely comfortable and a great way to travel between destinations with huge windows on all sides.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was great having someone to handle tickets, entry times etc.
These are locations that would have been a hassle to get to having to navigate on our own so I'm very happy with this tour.
