We had the best time!!!! Hugo, our tour guide was incredible! I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend all day! The tour was in the market which was nice because we saw so many things we not have, and there was not a lot of waking like in many tours. The food selections were amazing and fun. I felt like a local. My kids 21 and 17 both said it was the best food tour they had ever done and they have done many! I can not recommend this tour with Hugo enough!!

An Educational and Thought-Provoking Experience

Emmett did an outstanding job leading our World War II tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the group engaged by asking thought-provoking questions while also taking the time to answer everyone’s questions thoroughly. One thing that really stood out was his ability to present historical facts while also addressing and debunking common myths, which gave us a much deeper understanding of the events. Although the subject matter is incredibly somber, Emmett handled it with professionalism, respect, and compassion. He presented the information in a way that was educational, engaging, and thought-provoking without losing sight of the human impact of the history. This was an exceptional tour, and we left with a greater appreciation and understanding of World War II. We highly recommend taking a tour with Emmett.

He also gave us great recommendations for places to visit in Munich like the duetsches Museum. The food was great and I particularly liked the Munich white sausage and falafel. We had a great time with Leon and meeting new friends on the Bavarian Beer and Food tour! The event started at the meeting site with a beer and meeting other members of the group. Next we went to our first stop for a beer tasting and appetizers with a tour of the Oktoberfest museum. We had fun learning about the history and process of making traditional German beer. Next we toured other beer gardens ending with a delicious meal and more beer! The food and drinks were amazing and we stayed past the allotted time to enjoy the evening with new friends.

Nice tour. Small group. Easy travel by Public Transportation.

The brewery was pretty limited, but the guide did a great job hosting the tour. He was knowledgeable and fun to spend the evening with. There might be a better place to end the tour than Hofbrauhaus. Crowds and noise (Friday night) made it difficult to interact with guide and others on the tour.

Worthwhile and fun experience - organized and informative!

Tyler was our guide and was very attentive, organized, and knowledgeable. The bus was comfortable overall, and was pretty full (December is a popular time to visit). It's important to be on time when your guide tells you what time to meet up again; we had to wait a bit to depart the site as some folks were quite late (Tyler had to reach out to them by phone). The experience is well-planned, with a stop at Hohenschwangau first, where we explored that castle. At Neuschwanstein, we opted to take the shuttle (bring cash - I believe it was €3.50 each one-way up) up to the bridge viewpoint, which was quick and easy - we were lucky the bridge was open as we were told it is often closed in the winter. We're glad we took the shuttle too, as there is plenty of walking uphill from there and also within the castle. After reading some reviews online about the castle being unfinished and not having that much to look at, we contemplated skipping going inside, but decided we might as well since we had come all this way. I'm really glad we did, as the inside guided tour was fantastic and the castle history was fascinating to hear and see (no photos allowed). We also enjoyed the Christmas Market tour afterwards and Tyler took us to sites we might have otherwise missed on our own. We enjoyed hearing some interesting history about the area as well. The market tour is fairly fast-paced (~15 minutes at each market, remember to be on time) but you can always return on your own if you want to spend more time there after the tour. Overall, this was a well-organized, informative, and enjoyable experience which we'd recommend to our friends and family.

Truly the best way to explore the markets!

What an amazing time exploring the Christmas markets! I got to go to all the markets that were on my list to go to in Munich, while also trying Glühwein and snacks that I otherwise wouldn’t have found. We also had time to browse the stands nearby and I got the perfect Christmas gifts to bring home to family. I learned so much about the history and our guide Katrina was amazing.
