Food Tour in Munich
Don’t eat before you take this tour. It’s a lot of food and the selection was very German and very good. Not a lot of walking involved. The tour guide Victoria was very informed of the area and picked places with history behind them. We started out with a pastry called a Schmalznudeln which is a donut dipped in sugar and then did lunch with sausage sourkrout potato salad pretzel and beer and then she did a charcuterie board with fruit and cheese and a honey wine and ended up with another half sandwich. My only complaint was I couldn’t eat everything lol other than that I’ve taken some other food tours and this was the best one I’ve ever taken.
Thanks Victoria money and time well spent with you!

Food tour for all ages
I took this tour with my two boys. Renate was our tour guide. She was very accommodating, provided great history. She shared her personal life experiences which provided a richer understanding and appreciation of the food history of Munich. Great food and lots of fun for all ages!!

Awesome walking food tour!
Awesome tour. Loved the history lesson of the town our tour guide gave us as much as the food! We had a pastry to start, then quick bite sandwich, followed by beer, pretzels, and breakfast sausage link. Then we had meats, cheeses, bread with honey wine. Lastly a final pastry with a local beer and schnapps. All while walking around the Marienplatz

Fantastic Food Tour Experience in Munich with an Outstanding Guide
We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Munich Viktualienmarkt and Beyond Food Tasting Tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Liam. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable throughout the entire experience.
Liam did an excellent job blending the modern culture of Munich with the city’s rich history, giving us fascinating insights everywhere we went. Every stop on the tour was thoughtfully chosen. Lovely locations, exciting atmosphere, authentic local spots, and truly great food. There was more than enough to eat and drink, and we especially loved the cute traditional beer gardens and the lively energy of the market where the tour ended.
This tour felt authentic, fun, and personal from start to finish. If you’re visiting Munich and want a great way to experience the city through its food, culture, and history, we highly recommend this tour. And especially Liam as your guide!

Good food and good beer tasting!
Our young guide Daniel, did a wonderful job of presenting all the information in this fun evening City walk. We got to learn all about the history of beer making here in Munich/ Bavaria and also got to a sample several beers!
We ended the evening in a traditional German restaurant where we got one beer and dinner. Dinner consisted of a plate of appetizers which were quite good. This was followed by pork steaks, brats, potato, dumplings, German, mac and cheese that was to die for, and sauerkraut. Very good food, And too much for all of us to eat!
We shared our evening with a lot of nice tourists like ourselves, and Daniel really made it fun for us!

Great start to your Munich visit
This was a great, fairly short, Munich “in a nutshell” tour. Sarah was knowledgeable and funny, she really knows Munich and her love for the city is evident. She shared some fun information and stories not only about the Maximilian(s) and Ludwig(s), Munich, Bavaria, Germany, but even used some personal stories to gain insight and perspective on the mindset and culture of the people of Munich.
Great kick off to our few days in Munich.

Nice tour. Small group. Easy travel by Public Transportation.
The brewery was pretty limited, but the guide did a great job hosting the tour. He was knowledgeable and fun to spend the evening with. There might be a better place to end the tour than Hofbrauhaus. Crowds and noise (Friday night) made it difficult to interact with guide and others on the tour.

Excellent tour experience
Nicola is an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and approachable. I was struggling with a recent back injury; she noticed my discomfort and addressed it in a very kind and respectful way. Her knowledge of WWII content is deep and she shares it with clarity and organization. We would definitely take a tour with Radius and/or Nicola again.

Fun Tour!
This tour was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Austria and Germany. Our guide Kevin was lots of fun and had a ton of interesting information about local culture and history. We learned about the area while enjoying tasty snacks and delicious beers. It was just the right amount of walking, talking and tasting. Highly recommend this tour especially if you are lucky enough to get Kevin as guide!

Great experience, would book again!
Great way to see the local beer halls, learn local history, and meet others who may speak English! Our group of 18 were from USA, Portugal, Norway and Sweden. Tour guide Juan was WONDERFUL, so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the area and German history. Highly recommend the tour, and cross your fingers Juan is your guide!

Highly recommended for everyone! We had a fabulous time and learnt in the process
The Macabre tour was a very informative and well planned experience. Our guide Taff was extremely knowledgeable, approachable and engaged with the whole group throughout, he brought history alive, my 3 kids (20, 17 & 14) me and my husband had an amazing time. We were encouraged to handle artifacts which brought history into our own hands. Hearing stories of the lesser known past of munich was fantastic, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, as a family we all thoroughly enjoyed it, Huge Huge thanks to Taff for making our trip to Munich even more enjoyable. OK Daniel was very...
Daniel was very experienced and gave a great Tour of history and food! The food selection wasn't the typical tourist tastings which was wonderful. I left full! I almost missed the tour since I was looking for a yellow flag as in the description, but lucked out when a local helped me find her.
