A great VIP trip and experience

The VIP tour was definitely the way to go. Smaller group enabled more engagement with Monika, our great tour guide who shared interesting details along the entire voyage without being the least bit overwhelming. The bus was well appointed w high quality snacks and beverages and was very comfortable. The service of the staff was excellent. As for the trip, Linderhof, Oberammergau, and Schloss Neuschwanstein were fabulous and very worth the days travel from Munich. Loved the whole day!!!

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Our driver and tour guide were both wonderful; educational, funny and polite. The drive was pleasant, and the tour itself was perfect! Just enough time to have a bite to eat, explore the town, do some hiking around Mary’s bridge for some amazing views of the castle, and then an indoor tour with time afterwards for souvenirs and quick beverage before heading back. I personally feel doing both castles in one day would be too rushed. 10/10 would recommend this tour!

Great tour. Our guide Monika was terrific.

Our guide Monika was very knowledgeable, easy to understand, and pleasant. We did stop at a small town between the castles which was a waste of time, but likely required to bring some tourism to a small town. Short stay so it wasn't too bad. Most stores were closed today for Easter Sunday as well.

A Must Do Tour

My family and I did this tour last month, during our trip to Munich. Our guide, Achim, was amazing. This is a hard tour given the sad/negative history behind Dachu. However the perspective and information that our guide shared was respectful and realistic. I would highly recommend this tour.

Wake up!

This was very meaningful and it was great to have a guide. There is a lot of information to comprend and emotional reflection of the frightening time. This has always been the camp I wanted to see because of the US armies liberation of Dachau. We had a very informative guide who spent the day discussing the social and political issues of WW1. This was very academic. However, I would have preferred some moments of silent reflection and time to read the installations. Over all Marcus, was sensitive to the current events of the United Ststes. I could not be more sure about the dangers of history repeating, and the atrocities of the past must never happen again!

We ended up doing a tour with Leon during our time in Munich. He was friendly, and kind and centered our tour to our interests! He was very knowledgeable and personable and his stories were awesome. He even gave us some great recommendations when it was over! We would’ve missed so much of the unique history of Munich without this experience.

Wonderful tour!

Our tour guide Elisabeth and our driver were amazing! Elisabeth provided so many historical facts and really made the tour enjoyable. The scenery you get to see on this tour is unbeatable. The only thing that was disappointing for us was we did not have enough time to see the bunker after going to Eagles nest. The only place available for lunch kept us waiting for so long due to a shortage of staff that day. The food and waiter we had were great, we just missed a big chunk of the tour because of it. We would still highly recommend the tour! I’m sure this is not an issue all the time.
