Very impressed with the tour. I did see reviews for people saying they couldn’t find the main bus area, but it was exactly at the pickup address provided and the bus was VERY visible. The tour was very enjoyable and had a lot of information. We enjoyed it greatly! Recommend doing the full rounds and then ID where you want to to go. Drivers were nice. Overall an A+

The buses did not run on time. In most cases, it would have at least half-an hour to an hour late (in place of every 15 minutes). I wanted to visit a couple of more places but lost time by the bus delay, at my last stop i waited 50 minutes (just standing on my feet), got tired, and finally gave up on it (I mainly used the orange colour one). Finally, I gave up my test of the visit plans and took a taxi to my hotel.

It is harder to find this Hop On/Off than the red busses. The only thing I would change is the bus driver’s professionalism. We arrived at the bus and I showed the driver my QR code and he kept yelling “Scan! Scan! and pointing down the street. He finally walked us to another bus which was empty of passengers but filled with junk and a young man sitting in the front with a device to scan our code and issue a paper ticket. Viator might want to teach this guy a few more English words like “Go to that bus, scan and come back.” He came across rude and obnoxious.

The route was fine but there could have been more commentary, especially at the beginning. More about the history of Munich and the buildings early in the route. The online map was helpful when we got off at one stop and wanted to get back on at a different stop.

There is up to 20 minutes waiting time at the first stop. The audio tour did not start for us right away. Helps see a lot in a short period of time.

Do NOT recommend this Hop on Hop off with grey line. Try a their competitors instead. We normally have great experiences with Hop on Hop offs. In Munich, hard to locate the hop on/off spots. The drivers were very unfriendly and unhelpful. They seem to hate their jobs. Only user friendly part of this experience was the lady on the recorded version of the tour. Don’t waste your money on the Grey Line Hop On Hop Off!

The trip gave good quick overview of Munich BUT the commentary was significantly lacking. In most cases, the descriptors were for something we already passed or were for something we did not see. Unlike many hop on hop off tours we have been on, instead of interesting facts or stories about the city, there was also much dead air.

The driver was very attentive and helpful as we tried to follow along with the map. The weather was fantastic which made sitting on the upper deck fun. The low points of the trip were that the narration did not always follow along with where we were going and we were often not able to figure out where we should look. The traffic was terrible which made the trip extra lengthy and created a lull in the narration.

Its your basic hop on/hop off bus. I don't think it was necessarily worth the price- some of the stops were difficult to find.

Not great. Driver slammed on his brakes a few times throwing our personal items down the aisle. No apology given. One time was a really hard break. Not enjoyable. Audio did not match up with what we were driving by. Would not do again nor recommend.

This tour was just okay. Couldn't hear the audio guide on the bus as some of the audio jacks didn't work. Map was a bit unclear on which stops would pick us up and when. One bus drove right by us without stopping, so we ended up at a stop for 45 minutes. At the end of the day, we got to go around some areas of the city that we probably wouldn't have otherwise, but seeing as other bus lines are free, I would probably just hop on those next time.

The route we took was great and we got to see some really lovely buildings, however the route 1-7 at 1pm driver was really agressive on the road, ran through red lights, yelling at pedestrians and just making the passengers feel unsafe.

Hop on hop off bus is always to see and city attractions. Drivers are professional and courteous. The only problem in Munich and Berlin is the waiting time for buses at designated stops.

We were very disappointed in this hop on hop off tour. The instructions for the stop locations were unclear, the bus was not air conditioned in 80+ F heat, the recorded 'tour' was lame and superficial, and the bus drivers were short tempered. The public train system in munich was much more affordable and useful. Don't waste your money.
