Our group of 12, family and friends, arrived at Mr. Sanchos by 9am from our cruise ship. The staff helped us pick our spot for the day by the family pool. The kids played in the pool and eventually went to play on the floats in the aquatic park (additional charge). We enjoyed drinks and food all day. The waiter in our area was very attentive, and we kept him busy bringing us drinks and food. Everything was very good. Every time we visit it is great and this trip was no different.

Tolantonga Experience

My experience on this excursion was a big surprise to me. I was not expecting so much detail and info about the caves, history of Actopan, Hildalgo and Tolantonga. The hot springs, walk through the cave into a big hot spring and Riverwalk was fun. Our guide Alejandro(Leo) and driver Ezekiel were great. Leo made sure we were good at all times and answered any questions we had about the trip. Detailed info for pickup times, stops and drop off point. I suggest you go with this company and ask for Alejandro (Leo).

Leonor was a brilliant guide and story-teller!

Leonor was our guide - and she was absolutely incredible. She is clearly passionate about her country, the legacy of Frida Kahlo and Frida's community of friends, artists and family, from art to architecture to politics. Leonor is both a scholar and vivid, captivating story-teller. She gave us little 'puzzles' or goals to solve when we visited each room of the little house - it came alive in ways I'm sure few tours can. I cannot recommend Leonor enough.

Amazing - a must!

An amazing experience in CDMX. Pick up was at 4am and the drive was about 30/45 mins. Coffee and cookies beforehand then about 45 minutes in the hot air balloon. Breakfast in the cave was okay - my boyfriend didn’t get chicken with his chilaquiles. It was average but the location was amazing. We stopped for mezcal and souvenir tour after we walked around the Pyramid of the Sun for about an hour or so.

An unforgettable day visiting Teotihuacan

We had a brilliant day having the ruins of Teotihucan brought to life by our very knowledgeable guide Josefina. The site is vast, so be prepared to walk up to 5k and because of this we walked at a fast pace to see everything we needed to in the time available. Given the lack of shade at this site and its scale, I felt this was the perfect amount of time to spend there, so the fast pace is necessary. You do need to keep up with your guide or you may miss some explanations of areas. Bring water and a decent hat, otherwise you can buy these at the entry/exit gates. We climbed to the top of the temple of the moon (the temple of the sun is closed to climbing) which was a challenge, don't underestimate it as you need to be comfortable getting yourself back down afterwards too! I'm really glad I did though as my spine tingled with the thought of what would have happened on top of this colossal structure and the scale of crowds who would have been below looking back up! The view of the entire site from here is breath taking. The temple of Quetzalcoatl is stunningly beautiful. Make sure you separately visit the restored recreation of it at the Museo Nacional de Antropología. We had a small issue with our pickup point (Av. P.º de la Reforma 334), the bus was actually sat waiting for us in the roundabout itself, not in the adjacent side street where the pickup location showed it to be. My advice would be to not be shy and to go and speak to any tour vehicles within 50m. Anyhow, after 10 mins waiting, our guide found us and brought us onboard without further issue. We chose to be dropped off in a different location to where we boarded, using this to our advantage to visit some sites further from our hotel that we hadn't visited so far. So it may be worth considering that, as the first drop off is close to the Palacio des Belles Artes.

Amazing!

Great experience! We were picked up promptly and the check in process was smooth. It took a little while to get things going as it was very busy. The hot air balloon experience was incredible and our pilot Julio was great. The landing took a little while but was fairly smooth. The post flight breakfast, prosecco toast and the flight certificates were a nice touch! Once everyone was back the staff sorted out the rest of the groups and departed people according to their next location, after about an hour we were back en route to the city. They were very organized and pretty efficient. Overall, great experience!

Nicely curated tour. Smooth drive by Enrique. Knowledgeable tour by Tony. ( Only thing to recommend to talk little bit less so we can have enough free time to go around.) The crazy heat is something, always be prepared, so grateful to the tour to make us prepared for the weather. Definitely recommended.

Worth It !!!

I was honestly so skeptical about booking this tour because I had seen such mixed reviews across different websites and social media. My husband and I decided to just go for it, and I’m so glad we did. This tour group was amazing from start to finish. They picked us up from our resort, Riu Ventura, along with other guests from nearby resorts as well. Once you book, they contact you on WhatsApp and send you all the details, including photos of what their vehicles look like, which made us feel a lot more secure and confident that we were getting into the right transportation. The driver also had our names on a list and gave us wristbands right away when we were picked up, which added another layer of comfort and organization. When we arrived, they offered us the option to upgrade to a private tour for $59 per person, which we thought was very reasonable, so we did it. The main difference is that with the larger group, everything moves a lot faster, while with the private option, you really get to take your time and enjoy each part of the excursion. For us, it was absolutely worth it. We did the ATVs, zip lining, the water hole, and the tequila tasting, and every part of it was amazing. The team was incredibly entertaining, patient, and just genuinely warm with everyone. The atmosphere felt fun, welcoming, and full of good energy. We also loved the tequila tasting and ended up buying some tequila to take home. They told us it comes from Jalisco and isn’t available in duty-free, so it made the experience feel even more special. Another great part of the VIP upgrade was that it included unlimited tacos, drinks, snacks, and locker rental during lunch, which made it even more worthwhile. Overall, it was a really great experience, and I’m so happy we did it. I definitely recommend booking with them.
