Pickup is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes before the tour start time. The pickup time and location will be confirmed within 24 hours of booking. Itinerary

Depending on what time you chose for this whale watching tour in Los Cabos, your hotel pickup either happens in the morning or the afternoon.

Once you've been picked up and taken to the area where your tour begins, board a high-speed inflatable boat. Cruise the waters of the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortes, and look out for whales in their natural habitat. Make sure to have your camera ready to snap pictures of these massive mammals. Plus, you might even see a dolphin or two.

Along the ride, your guide tells you interesting facts about the whales and helps you get more familiar with their natural environment. You even get a chance to listen to whales communicate with each other through hydrophone technology. After all the fun, take a return ride back to your hotel.

Our tour experience was nothing short of amazing. The pick up was on time and check-in was easy. Our tour guide Max was knowledgeable and friendly. This tour requires quite a bit of walking around the marina as well as good balance on the boat so it is not great for people with limited mobility. Perfect for families, couples and solo travelers. The Neptune boats seat a max of 20 people. This is not a booze cruise with cocktails and music, it is a true marine experience. You start with views of the arch and some history then we saw many humpback whales and a few sea lions. Whale watching does require a bit of patience but it was magical! Transfer home was easy. We loved every minute, we would do it again!

Fun but Not Exactly as Advertised

We had a great time on this well-organized whale-watching excursion. Check-in was smooth, and the facility was clean, spacious, and easy to find. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, providing interesting insights into the marine life we encountered. We were fortunate to see several whales along with other large fish, making for an exciting experience. The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the tour was significantly shorter than advertised, with no explanation. The website stated the trip would last 2 hours and 15 minutes, and at check-in, we were told 2 hours and 30 minutes. However, we returned to the dock in under 1 hour and 45 minutes. While we enjoyed the experience, we found that other similar tours we took were just as fun, more affordable, and stayed out for the full promised duration—or even longer. Overall, it was a great trip, but we wish it had lasted as long as advertised.

Disappointed in Cabo

While the crew and other employees were terrific and extremely helpful, we only saw a couple of very quiet whales. I have been whale watching many times in Cabo and on the ocean side have always seen lots of activity. This time was no exception according to others on my cruise ship. Cabo Adventures stayed in the gulf resulting in very little active whales. Disappointed.

Honestly I can’t support a company that also provides swimming with dolphins in captivity. I would have rather supported a conservation company that takes tours.

It was amazing tour where we saw lot of humpbacks breaching and splashing with fin! We were lucky to see cub chasing boats and having fun! Just incredible and really recommend this tour!

We booked two trips through Cabo Adventures and one with another company. Cabo Adventures was so professional, informative and very easy to navigate. We left a jacket on the Whale Shark Adventure in La Paz and the company had it back to us in Cabo the next day. We will use this company again and again.
