Incredible experience!!! The whole day went smoothly: from pick up, to the snacks, and non-stop interesting facts and history. Martin, Jaime, and Hector are the dream team! We got to see/do everything: manatees, dolphins, snorkeling with a turtle, swimming and a delicious lunch in Punta Allen. Highly highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience. We saw dolphins, turtles and a huge variety of birds. Miguel was our guide and he was so informative, interesting and passionate which made the tour all the more special. The tour is super respectful of the nature and the lunch after was fab ! Highly recommend.

The trip was fantastic; our guides, Miguel and Kenya, were knowledgeable, friendly, skilled, and clearly passionate about their work and about this beautiful and important reserve. Everything from pickup to dropoff went smoothly. It’s true that you are somewhat at the mercy of nature with a tour like this; in our case, we were unable to snorkel due to rough seas, and despite the best efforts of our gudes and boat captains, we were unable to find any crocodiles. However, we were able to see manatees, dolphins, and green sea turtles up close, along with a huge variety of birds (bring binoculars!), and enjoy a relaxing swim break in a beautiful lagoon. Lunch in Punta Allen was delicious; visiting this tiny town felt like stepping back in time to the 1980s (in a good way)! Be aware that the portion of the tour that goes into the open ocean can be a little bumpy (again, dependent on weather) so keep that in mind if you have back problems or are prone to seasickness. Still, I can’t recommend this tour enough! Our group ranged from young children to senior citizens and everyone had a great time.

An unforgettable trip...

An unforgettable trip through the Sian Kaan reserve. Our guides Maca and Lea and our captain Jaime, made a multi hour trip on boat through the reserve informative and fun. We saw all the major animals of the reserve including active crocodiles, dolphins, turtles and manatees during our trip. Our kids had a blast, including swimming in the lagoon. The lunch was delicious as well, we strongly recommend the Mayan fish dish. While the experience was expensive, it’s totally worth it as it was a small boat (only 6 passengers) and it felt like a private tour. Don’t let the expense stop you. It’s an amazing trip.

We had an amazing experience! We saw 2 crocodiles, 2 different types of sea turtles, a baby manatee and lots of dolphins. The ride was not near as bumpy as some reported. Our traditional man fish lunch was delicious! It was a beautiful trip into the biosphere with guides who truly care about the environment and respecting the animals. Leah and Maca were very knowledgeable and both had great personalities! Would definitely recommend! Veronica and Maria!

Great tour at the Sian Ka’an with this company. The guide Pablo was a great and knowledgeable guide with his extremely humour and charm. The pick-up was on time and the time schedule was perfect. Pablo and his crew took care of us and we learned a lot about the nature, animals and about the park. The tour was good organised, with a lot to see and explore. The road is for sure a very pumpy road, so be prepared for some massage. It’s also a long day. We did snorkel and saw shark, stingray and a lot of different fish. Outside Punta Allen we saw dolphins. The lunch at Punta Allen was great. I will recommend travelling with this company and take the tour.

Excellent Guides & Experience but check the distance

Kenya and Macarena are enthusiastic and engaging guides whose passion for the sea and its creatures made this trip truly memorable. The weather was surprisingly cool & rainy but the provided raincoats helped keep us warm and comfortable. We were unable to snorkel since the water was choppy, but we did see a sea turtle, a manatee, dolphins, a crocodile, many birds, and a surprised monkey when we exited the water. Lunch was excellent in the fishing village. The only recommendation to consider is your location relative to Tulum. We were staying in Cancun and underestimated the driving time: from a 5:30 am pickup to an 8 pm drop-off, over 6 hours round-trip in a van. That was a really long day.

Amazing Tour. Must do Activity for Wildlife Lovers!

This is a must do tour for anyone who loves seeing wildlife and also supporting the future conservation of that wildlife. We had Miguel and Kenya as our guides with Aurelio as our driver. Both guides were amazing and friendly, kept the day very entertaining, and were ecstatic to impart their knowledge of the reserve on all of us. The guides value the reserve as a truly special place and really get you to feel the same way. We were very lucky to see almost every type of wildlife you could expect to see on our tour including: dolphins, sharks, a sea turtle, lots of birds, crocodiles and a manatee! Even if you don't get as lucky to see everything in one day the reserve is a truly amazing place and you can appreciate that you are seeing these animals in their natural environment. Don't let the price scare you off vs. other tours or options to see wildlife in Mexico. Not only are you paying to be a part of a fairly intimate group on a boat for an 8+ hour day (we had two boats for 10 people and two guides). You are also paying for a tour done the right way, by the right people who truly care for this special place and conserving its future. Finally, a lot of the cost is going towards helping to fund the future conservation of this beautiful place, and if you aren't convinced by the photos you see before, then the guides and the experience will surely convince you that ensuring that this special area is safeguarded is well worth it. Only one word of advice for future guests is make sure to be mindful that you will be at least partially in the sun for 8+ hours. The boat does have some shade covering, but parts of you will still be exposed, particularly arms and legs. Biodegradable sunscreen can help, but ultimately I wish I had listened to their suggestion to cover up a bit more from the packing list provided.

Beautiful place and a great schedule. I love everything we did. We saw manatees first, then so many different birds. Went snorkelling and saw 2 sharks and 4 rats. While on the boat, 3 dolphins hung with us. Lunch was great, guides were lovely. Boat Captain also amazing. Highly recommend

My sister and I really enjoyed this excursion! Our guides Niko and Martin were great. They spotted so many animals and made the day amazing! We never felt rushed and they shared many facts about the animals with us. The lunch was absolutely delicious. The worst part was the drive down the road to the boat dock, but that is just because the road is in need of repair and the van was a little cramped. Overall I definitely recommend this trip!

Amazing animals and day on the water

Our guide, Christine, was fabulous, such good energy made for a fun day. Our boat captain was amazing and got us up close to Dolphin, Manatees, turtles, tons of birds and a few others. Lunch in Punta Allen was great and enjoyed looking over the ocean. Snorkeling didn’t work out but we had a nice swim in some beautiful clear water. Everything was as advertised and on time!

What a wonderful day excursion. Nature, water, beach making a whole day that filled my soul. The waters were turbulent to snorkel which I was looking forward to however relaxing in the water in the middle of no where was therapeutic. It is a true full day tour. Loved our guided Alo and Nico. Saw so many animals for the first time. Loved it. We went in Feb, weather was great but bring long sleeves. Gets cool on the boat.

Highlights- Everyone was wonderful: the van driver, tour guides and boat driver. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and good at communicating what we were going to do and what was going to happen next. Loved the boat ride and seeing the vast expanse of water, mangroves and the peacefulness of it all. The boat driver spotted multiple crocodiles, dolphins, manatees. We stopped by an island to watch the frigate birds- very cool. Snorkeling at the reef was fast but good. We saw multiple turtles and a stingray. I would have like to have slowed down this part a bit to get gear situated a bit better and take a breath. The current was strong so I’m sure they had a reason to keep us moving. Lunch on the island was good. Nice to chill for a bit. The other boat with us had an issue and we got to stay a bit longer. I have 2 teens (18 & 16) and we all enjoyed the day long trip!

Ursula and Chris were amazing guides, made the whole trip worthwhile and so much fun! So well organized and they have out snacks that were so good! Meal at Punta Allen was also great. Definitely worth the money, 10 hours flew by and we were sad when it was over!

Amazing wildlife, super friendly and knowledgeable guides

This was an amazing full day tour! The tour guides are clearly passionate about the nature reserve and enjoy sharing it with others. Niko taught us all about the local ecosystems on our way to the boat, and Jessica did an amazing job pointing out all of the cool animals and sights during our boat tour. Niko, our van driver, was extremely punctual and arrived exactly on time as told by our agent. We saw manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays and lots of cool birds!

Sian Ka'an trip

Sian Ka'an brings you to a part of Mexico rarely experienced. The biosphere reserve is fascinating and guides Lea and Jessica were very knowledgeable about the history and ecosystem. Both have a great sense of humor and brought fun and laughter to our day. Axel, our driver was prompt and safe. Great outing - highly recommend

A Perfect Day

Had a perfect day enjoying the Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve. Leah was an amazing guide and Jaime was a master captain. They took us to see dolphins, turtles, manatees, crocodiles, and birds, explaining everything and taking care of our needs along the way. Lunch in Punta Allen was incredible! The entire family agrees that the day could not have been any nicer.
