Good experience. Transportation was exactly what was promised. Food was better than expected. Service was great.
On the downside, pool area was very crowded and murky. Beach was a little bit of sand, a lot of rocks. There are plenty of inflatables to climb on - almost too many - not much space to swim - especially since the kayakers are in the same space - and most have no idea how to control a kayak. They kept running into the swimmers.

Regarding the rocky shoreline, this is a natural characteristic of our coastal environment and something we cannot modify, though water shoes can make the ocean entry more comfortable on future visits. On busier days our pool and activity areas can feel more crowded than usual and we are sorry the experience felt that way during your visit.
Your feedback on the shared space between kayakers and swimmers is genuinely helpful and something we will take into consideration as we continue improving the Guest experience at Chula’s Beach Club.

We paid reasonable price for all inclusive club pass. Transportation inclusion is a big plus. They are very nice, hard working people, and keep their chairs and umbrellas clean and in good shape. Few decent food choices included for lunch. Very fun water inflatables are also included. We had a blast.

Chula’s was very relaxing. Not too crowded. Drinks were good and strong!! The food was mid. Chino and his assistant kept the drinks coming. The coconut shrimp and grilled shrimp were my favorite. The Bee’s lord they all over if you are allergic please be very careful. Unfortunately I was stung and kinda put a damper on my experience but I made the best of it. Rode the Jet Skis for the first time too.

Perfect day at the beach! So much fun for people who wanted to be in the water with all the toys, but also a perfect relaxing time for people who wanted to sit under an umbrella and read a book. Food was yummy and drinks were strong! I highly recommend!

The service was amazing! Monkey and Angel greeted us immediately, helped us find a good spot on the beach, and were there every minute to see to our every need. We never went thirsty or hungry and the energy was unmatched. I got an amazing massage right on the beach and then went snorkeling on the reef. The fish were beautiful! We will definitely go back again!

The transportation portion wasn’t great.
When we went to leave we were told by the girl at the desk to check in with her and she would get our taxi when we left. Upon leaving we did just that and she acted like she didn’t know what we were talking about and she didn’t check me in when we got there. It was the same girl I checked in with, who asked for my name and ID and checked her list but when leaving she was very rude and said she didn’t have our name and had never seen us

The beach area had a ton of seaweed and rocks. Too much for my comfort. They did have a good amount of floatable toys out in the water for use. They also have a pool which is what I used. Food and service was great. Not bad for the price. July 9th 2026.

Regarding the seaweed and rocks we completely understand and appreciate you mentioning it. The rocky shoreline is part of our natural coastal environment and the seaweed is driven by seasonal ocean currents entirely beyond our control.
We do work hard to clear it as regularly as possible but there are days when nature has the upper hand.

The taxi guy tried to make us pay.round trip service to the beach which we kept telling him that we already paid all inclusive including travel. That was frustrating! If you didn’t know any better they would get you but not me.

Unfortunately taxi drivers operate independently and are not under our direct control.
On occasion some drivers may attempt to charge Guests directly even when transportation is already included and fully paid for. This is exactly why we always ask our Guests not to pay for transportation in advance under any circumstances. Our Staff handles the payment directly at the official rates to make sure every Guest is fully protected from any overcharging.
We are glad you knew better and stood your ground!

Very nice short dinner cruise, food was good, staff was great. Rum Punch was good as well was able to see dolphins swimming next to the boat
Get there early to enjoy everything this place has to offer. Food and drinks were great! Service was too notch and always around and attentive. Rode the jet skis and the banana ride, kids and I loved it! The resort was not overcrowded and had great vibes the whole time! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone! We will be back!

No real beach. Sargassum grass covered all waterfront. Pool is meh at best. Not a good beach destination.

My experience was AMAZING! From the taxi ride to check in everyone was so kind. The beach was beautiful and clean and there were so many vendors and massages and cooler things to try. But the best part was our waiter and his grandfather. We had to ask or want for anything they remembered what everyone liked and kept it coming . They were so kind and so much fun !! We loved it so much and definitely will be back. The only thing I will say is getting into the water is rocky. But once you past the shore it is AMAZING! Beautiful

Always a great time! There were some jellyfish that looked like a flat small piece of paper that enjoyed stinging people lol and the seaweed was thickkk and all over! But honestly had a wonderful time! drinks were great food was ok. Coconut shrimp was my favorite!

Had a great time as usual!!! I will always choose Chulas over the other beach clubs. Missed my usual server but Edson and Guty did not disappoint!!! Also went kayaking which was fun. Just bring water shoes, there’s rocks at the bottom of the ocean. 10/10 would recommend.

Chulas makes for a great day! Good food, drinks and amenities! Our teens enjoyed the water park/inflatables. The vibe is all about a good time. Know that they pack in the people. If you get there at noon -chairs are hard to get. We got lucky and a family was leaving the beach to hang at the pool and got their chairs.

Amazing place, bit sceptical at first with having to arrive by taxi from port however when we arrived amazing.. great choice of drinks, Angel our waiter was brilliant. Expect it to be busy and wear your water shoes in the sea as the first bit is a bit rocky. The food was great and so were the drinks. Gabriel the manager was very accommodating with an issue we had. Our servers were Ivan and Oscar and they were wonderful.
