My husband and I had a great time at Chula’s Beach Club! The all-inclusive package was definitely worth it, especially with the food and unlimited drinks included. Being able to enjoy food, cocktails, and other beverages throughout the day without constantly paying extra made the experience even better.
The beach club offered plenty to enjoy, including beach chairs, a swimming pool, water activities, and a fun atmosphere. It was nice having everything in one place rather than having to plan multiple activities or excursions.
The round-trip transportation was another great perk and made getting to and from the beach club much easier. The staff were welcoming, and overall, it was a fun way to spend our day in Cozumel.
If you’re looking for a beach day with food, drinks, and activities included, I would definitely recommend giving Chula’s a try. My husband and I felt it was well worth the experience!

This place is not family friendly. We have been trying to visit other beaches that are not options on the cruise ship. I don’t feel like the photos were well represented to the actual place. The beach loungers are old and wooden, extremely uncomfortable to relax on, they have them squished all together on their little section of beach. There seems to be atleast four beach “resorts” side by side. When we first walked in, things were overgrown and appearance was poor. I wasn’t sure what we had booked. New pool was cloudy and we were one of the first ones to the resort so noone had been in it. When you first walked in, a server greets you and takes you to their section, so you don’t even get a choice where you want to sit. Bathrooms were good. Transportation was easy. Food was okay and drinks were hit or miss. I have several that weren’t made correctly and could drink. Music was inappropriate, the crowd is loud, it’s mostly adults that want to party. It was not relaxing at all. I was extremely disappointed and will not return. I didn’t have my kids this trip, but if I did, we would not have stayed.

Regarding the neighboring beach clubs, Cozumel’s coastline features several beach venues side by side and their presence is entirely beyond our control. We do our best to make Chula’s Beach Club its own distinct and welcoming destination within that setting.
On the pool, we want to clarify that our pool is clean and well-maintained. The tone you may have perceived as cloudy is actually the result of our pool’s decorative bottom finish, which is intentionally designed to reflect a beautiful emerald tone — a deliberate design choice rather than a water quality issue.
Regarding seating, we apologize if the welcome experience felt limiting. Our Team guides Guests to available spots upon arrival to ensure a smooth experience, but our Guests are always welcome to request a different location and we will always do our best to accommodate. We will communicate this more clearly with our Staff.
On the beach loungers, we appreciate your honest feedback and want you to know that we are currently in the process of replacing all of them. Your insight on this is genuinely valued.
As for the atmosphere, music and overall vibe — Chula’s Beach Club is by nature a lively, social and energetic beach experience and this is reflected in how we present ourselves across all booking platforms. Over 1,800 reviews on TripAdvisor with a 4.9 rating speak to how much the vast majority of our Guests enjoy exactly that atmosphere, including many families.

Good experience. Transportation was exactly what was promised. Food was better than expected. Service was great.
On the downside, pool area was very crowded and murky. Beach was a little bit of sand, a lot of rocks. There are plenty of inflatables to climb on - almost too many - not much space to swim - especially since the kayakers are in the same space - and most have no idea how to control a kayak. They kept running into the swimmers.

We paid reasonable price for all inclusive club pass. Transportation inclusion is a big plus. They are very nice, hard working people, and keep their chairs and umbrellas clean and in good shape. Few decent food choices included for lunch. Very fun water inflatables are also included. We had a blast.

Chula’s was very relaxing. Not too crowded. Drinks were good and strong!! The food was mid. Chino and his assistant kept the drinks coming. The coconut shrimp and grilled shrimp were my favorite. The Bee’s lord they all over if you are allergic please be very careful. Unfortunately I was stung and kinda put a damper on my experience but I made the best of it. Rode the Jet Skis for the first time too.

The service was amazing! Monkey and Angel greeted us immediately, helped us find a good spot on the beach, and were there every minute to see to our every need. We never went thirsty or hungry and the energy was unmatched. I got an amazing massage right on the beach and then went snorkeling on the reef. The fish were beautiful! We will definitely go back again!

The transportation portion wasn’t great.
When we went to leave we were told by the girl at the desk to check in with her and she would get our taxi when we left. Upon leaving we did just that and she acted like she didn’t know what we were talking about and she didn’t check me in when we got there. It was the same girl I checked in with, who asked for my name and ID and checked her list but when leaving she was very rude and said she didn’t have our name and had never seen us

The beach area had a ton of seaweed and rocks. Too much for my comfort. They did have a good amount of floatable toys out in the water for use. They also have a pool which is what I used. Food and service was great. Not bad for the price. July 9th 2026.

The taxi guy tried to make us pay.round trip service to the beach which we kept telling him that we already paid all inclusive including travel. That was frustrating! If you didn’t know any better they would get you but not me.

Unfortunately taxi drivers operate independently and are not under our direct control.
On occasion some drivers may attempt to charge Guests directly even when transportation is already included and fully paid for. This is exactly why we always ask our Guests not to pay for transportation in advance under any circumstances. Our Staff handles the payment directly at the official rates to make sure every Guest is fully protected from any overcharging.

Very nice short dinner cruise, food was good, staff was great. Rum Punch was good as well was able to see dolphins swimming next to the boat
Get there early to enjoy everything this place has to offer. Food and drinks were great! Service was too notch and always around and attentive. Rode the jet skis and the banana ride, kids and I loved it! The resort was not overcrowded and had great vibes the whole time! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone! We will be back!

No real beach. Sargassum grass covered all waterfront. Pool is meh at best. Not a good beach destination.

My experience was AMAZING! From the taxi ride to check in everyone was so kind. The beach was beautiful and clean and there were so many vendors and massages and cooler things to try. But the best part was our waiter and his grandfather. We had to ask or want for anything they remembered what everyone liked and kept it coming . They were so kind and so much fun !! We loved it so much and definitely will be back. The only thing I will say is getting into the water is rocky. But once you past the shore it is AMAZING! Beautiful

Always a great time! There were some jellyfish that looked like a flat small piece of paper that enjoyed stinging people lol and the seaweed was thickkk and all over! But honestly had a wonderful time! drinks were great food was ok. Coconut shrimp was my favorite!

Had a great time as usual!!! I will always choose Chulas over the other beach clubs. Missed my usual server but Edson and Guty did not disappoint!!! Also went kayaking which was fun. Just bring water shoes, there’s rocks at the bottom of the ocean. 10/10 would recommend.

Chulas makes for a great day! Good food, drinks and amenities! Our teens enjoyed the water park/inflatables. The vibe is all about a good time. Know that they pack in the people. If you get there at noon -chairs are hard to get. We got lucky and a family was leaving the beach to hang at the pool and got their chairs.
