The food was great and so were the drinks. Gabriel the manager was very accommodating with an issue we had. Our servers were Ivan and Oscar and they were wonderful.

This was an excellent beach all-inclusive. Charmine and Gustave were our hosts while on the beach. We arrived early at 9:10am getting the choice seating front row on beach. Inflatables were great and there were paddle boats and kayaks available with no extra charge. We had been to Mr Sancho’s several times, but this one is so much better. It also included the transport there and back to the ship.
I would highly recommend this beach over Mr Sancho’s

Communication is very poor. If you don’t have cell service or access to app it is very confusing. From time of booking til travel they change things.

From the moment a booking is confirmed, we provide detailed pickup instructions through the Viator/TripAdvisor platform, including clear directions for each cruise port in Cozumel.
These instructions are designed to cover situations where cruise ships may arrive at different terminals. We do not change the meeting arrangements between the time of booking and the day of the tour; the information remains the same in the booking details.
In this particular case, the main difficulty was communication as you did not have any way to contact us. Without you having access to a phone or the Viator/TripAdvisor app, it became challenging for our Team to coordinate in real time or assist.
When our Guests follow the instructions and can contact us through the app or by phone, the process is very smooth.
Even with the communication challenges, we’re glad we were ultimately able to provide the service.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps highlight the importance of reviewing the pickup instructions and maintaining a way to contact the Tour Operator on the day of the excursion.

The transportation started off horrible. The pictures lied regarding what place looked like. I really wanted a refund for deceiving me. I can't recommend this place and I'm looking at viotior differently.

Nvertheless, allow us to be address some details: For all cruise Guests, we provide clear and detailed pick-up instructions specific to each cruise port in Cozumel, including guidance about verifying local island time versus ship time. Unfortunately, when these instructions are not reviewed carefully, misunderstandings can occur and arrival timing may be affected, which can impact the overall experience.
Regarding the appearance of the property, all images used reflect our facilities as they are.

There’s not much that is relaxing about this spot. Lots of kids, the beach is rocky, and it’s packed! If you’re looking for a place to chill out, this is not it. If you’ve got kids and you need them to burn off some energy… you’re in the right spot. All in all it was a miss for us.

Chairs are stacked on each other. No room in between. The most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever sat on. Could not even lay down they were so uncomfortable we could have gotten cushions for an upcharge but had already spent more than I wanted. After trying for 20 minutes to get comfortable in the chairs, we finally had to move. I was ready to come home but had spent quite a bit of money so if I could get a more comfortable seat, I would try. They did move us to more comfortably seating but you couldn’t not access the beach from there because there were so many rocks. Plus the beach is not crystal clear and had a lot of sea weed. The “toys” in the ocean were great if you had kids but I’d rather sit at a beach and look out over the ocean and not see the big blow up bouncy house things. We stayed in that spot u til I got a drink which took well over 30 minutes for one drink. After I got my drink we went to go to the swim up bar, which is not a swim up bar, and sat there for another 20 minutes waiting on a drink. And the bar was right there. I was so frustrated by them, I told my husband let’s just go. I had to go back down to the beach to gather our belongings m, still waiting on my drink. Finally upon returning I just went to the bar and ordered my Coke. Then we left. I was so disappointed cause last December we went to Mr Sanchos and I thought this might be better that Mr Sanchos. Boy was I wrong. While sitting at pool we noticed several families come in and out need up leaving too. I do not like giving bad reviews but I feel like we got burned.

For that reason, while we absolutely acknowledge that we can have busy or imperfect moments and are always willing to improve, the overall portrayal of your experience does not reflect what most of our Guests encounter during their visit.
Regarding seating, when you mentioned discomfort, our Staff relocated you to a different section in an effort to better accommodate you. Accessibility to the shoreline can vary depending on the specific area and natural rock formations along parts of the coast.
Seaweed and water clarity are natural conditions throughout the Caribbean and can change daily depending on weather and currents. These are environmental factors beyond the control of any beach club, though we work consistently to maintain our areas as best as possible.
Concerning beverage service, extended wait times are certainly not our standard. On high-traffic cruise days, service can occasionally be impacted, but that does not excuse frustration, and we will review this internally to ensure we continue improving our efficiency.
We understand that every Traveler has different expectations for their port day. Some Guests enjoy a lively atmosphere with family-oriented features, while others may prefer a quieter setting. We respect that preferences differ and regret that our concept did not align with what you were hoping for.

Nice place with excellent service. The only problem is the weather/ water events. If the water is choppy, all water activities are cancelled and not much else to do. Swim at your own risk.

Lots of rocks and seaweeds in the chair area .
And on beaches . lots of seaweeds .
Some of the large rocks could be removed .
And maybe cleanup of the seaweeds around chair area .
The dinner area and bar area needs an update .
Very old .
Toilet had no locks and someone walked into my stall .
Sun chairs all need an update .
Umbrella needs an update .they tied them to chairs .

Regarding the presence of seaweed, it is actually unusual for this time of year, as this season is typically characterized by little to no sargassum. Seaweed tends to appear only on certain days throughout the year, and when it does, our Team works promptly to clean it up.
We regret if conditions on the day of your visit gave a different impression.
Concerning access to the sea, we do have a clearly marked entry area where there are fewer rocks to allow for safer and more comfortable swimming.
As we are located within a National Marine Park, we are not permitted to alter the natural environment, including the removal of rocks, in order to protect the ecosystem.
We’d also like to clarify that our beach lounge chairs are currently in the process of being renewed, and our umbrellas are new. That said, we appreciate your observations, as they help us continue improving our facilities. Your comments regarding the restroom and common areas have been shared with our Management Team for immediate review.

Was a bit tricky finding our driver once through the busy port but smooth ride to the beach with baby in van. Chulas was fun but 100% tourist trap. We went there because we had our family and a baby and thought it would be easier to have all inclusive, but it was so crowded and the water is quite rocky. Swimming out to the floats and water slides was WORTH IT. Although the food and drinks were included, it took a while to get our orders and the food was just ok. Drinks were pretty weak but it was a place to relax in a hammock on the beach with a drink in hand so no complaining. Plenty of shade for baby and the ride back to our ship was smooth. Our server was Charmin and he was a good guy. Even gave us tequila shots because he felt bad about how long we waited for food. Overall, good day for families but very loud and busy.

I had a great time. Ivan and luis were our waitresses. They are so fun and light hearted. The service is so good just don’t forget to tip them! Free tequila tasting and good food and drink. Jetski is overpriced $80 for 2 for a half hour

It was raining on the morning of our visit but it didn’t stop our fun. The all included food and drink lasted till the rain stopped & there was plenty of things to do in the water after the sun came out!! Definitely would visit again. Staff was great ..especially Pedro, who said it was his first day, but he was excellent too!

Not crazy about this one. Drinks were not good like they used koolaide for mixers. The food was good and the service is awesome. The beach is mostly rock bottom and not good for swimming. Sorry Chula’s we won’t be back

Our drinks are prepared daily using standard mixers and fresh ingredients commonly used in beach clubs across the island, though we understand that flavor preferences can vary from Guest to Guest.
As for the beach conditions, Cozumel is a natural island environment and the shoreline at certain areas feature a rocky seabed, which is typical and clearly part of the island’s marine landscape.

Location is not well kept it was trash and overgrown grass on the path into the establishment. The staff was nice but if you want to relax this is not the place for you there are people coming through every 5 minutes trying to get you to buy merchandise and you have to tell them more than once NO. This was my first and last time visiting that beach plus I had to walk 1/2 a mile from meeting point through back allies to get to where the jeep was parked for the ride there

Workers were very nice and good was decent but the chairs/ lounges were very very uncomfortable. They needed padding. We only stayed a few hours because we couldn’t sit in those chairs

Good option for solo travellers, group travellers, and those with kids. Plentiful drink and food options with attentive service (shout out to Hector and Miguel). The only improvement would’ve having mattresses or pads on the wooden chairs as they can get uncomfortable and/or hot after some time.

The pick up / transportation was a nightmare. I had to make 10 calls between Viator and Chulas to try to get someone to pick me and my elderly mother up at a gas station. Once we finally made it to the resort our wait staff got in a verbal yelling match on who would serve us. Lastly we were robbed by an employee at the gift shop. Would never go back to this place!!!!!!! I have been to Cozumel 7 times and all have been Amazing experiences except for this one!!!

We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify several important details to ensure an accurate understanding of what happened during your visit.
Our pick-up directions are clear, detailed, and easy to be followed, and we receive hundreds of Guests every week who have no difficulty locating the meeting point.
Regrettably, on the day of your tour, we did not receive any call or message from you regarding being lost. It wasn’t until more than an hour after your scheduled pick-up time, that a local person contacted us on your behalf. As soon as we received that information, we immediately provided your pick up service.
Regarding what you described as a “yelling match,” we are sorry this was your impression. What you witnessed was not an argument but the natural enthusiasm of our Staff as they organized themselves to serve you. Our environment is lively and energetic by design — part of the constant, outgoing, party-like atmosphere that many of our Guests love.
The most concerning part of your review is your mention of being “robbed” by an employee at the gift shop. We take accusations of this nature with the utmost seriousness.

Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous...food and drinks were excellent...we were there on a cloudy, windy day but still had a great time! My massage on the beach was wonderful...pool needs a railing and a cleaning ! Would return

Beach is okay but chairs are so uncomfortable that you cannot use them. Drinks are not strong and I barely drink. Felt no alcohol at all. But most frustrating was after paying for round trip transfer taxi driver told us return fare was not included and charged us $40 to go back to the port.

Regarding the transportation, it appears your booking did not include our All Inclusive Package with Transportation, which covers the full round-trip transfer.
When Guests book directly with that option, transportation is indeed included; however, when booked separately, the taxi fare is handled independently by local drivers, and unfortunately, we have no control over their pricing.
We also appreciate your comments about the lounge chairs. We understand that comfort is key, and we’re already reviewing alternatives and improvements to ensure a more relaxing experience for our Guests.
As for the drinks, our bartenders follow standard recipes for balance and safety, but we’re always happy to adjust them upon request for a stronger pour.
We truly appreciate your honest feedback—it helps us improve—and we hope you’ll consider visiting again for a more enjoyable experience in the future.

Absolutely perfect service from all the staff we encountered… They take amazing care of you from pick up to drop off! A great choice of seating options but bring your beach towel! A nice little variety of included snacks and drinks but keep your expectations realistic when it comes to quality! Perfect day away from our cruise ship and the fun aqua playground was included! Also a cute pool, but we didn’t use it. Still recommend!

Food was good, drinks were good though a little weak, but the service from our host Irbin was top notch and the beach was gorgeous! Areas for improvement would be working lights in the restrooms, and not so many walk-by solicitors from the club itself at the table while we’re trying to enjoy our meal and drinks. One an hour would be fine, but one every five minutes for the first two hours was a bit much… I will go back again next time I’m in Coz, but if the sales pitches are still like that, it’ll be the last time.
