Surpassed expectations!

This tour surpassed all expectations! Our guide, Ana, met us at our hotel and with a driver and gave us a quick overview of the city with many stops and great explanations of the city’s history and architecture. After about an hour of our driving tour we left the car and continued by foot into the old section of town, ending at the Royal Palace. We’ve seen many palaces and this one is truly a gem! Ana gave us great insights into the art and special features within the palace. I highly recommend recommend this tour!

Great experience, would recommend

My wife and I had a great experience on this excursion. Miguel, our driver, was knowledgeable and accommodating. We went thru all of the neighborhoods of Madrid, and were able to hop off and enjoy certain sites for photos. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a great 2hr overview of the city.

This experience was worth...

This experience was worth the price. Our very knowledgeable guide Munroe connected art with history wonderfully. By explaining the historical context of the pieces he showed us, we gained a greater appreciation for them. If we had just wandered around the museum ourselves, the experience would have been disappointing. Monroe made it one of our favorite activities in Madrid!

Great experience, a must-do in Madrid

Jaime was the perfect guide for this incredible palace. He was funny and personable and knew so much about the history, the architecture, the art and furniture. My husband, who is not normally much on these types of things, really enjoyed how Jaime tied all these things together with the interesting backstories of personalities and politics. The palace is so vast that I don’t think a guidebook would be nearly as helpful and audio guides, while helpful, don’t allow for all the questions which Jaime was happy to answer. Great tour and tour guide, highly recommend.

Madrid Brought to Life Through Stories and History

We had an absolutely wonderful tour of Madrid with Flo. By pure luck, it ended up being just the two of us with her, and it felt like having an incredibly knowledgeable local friend show us the city. Flo’s English is impeccable, and her knowledge goes far beyond dates and landmarks. She has a deep understanding of European history and politics and is wonderful at connecting Madrid’s past to the bigger historical picture. What made the tour especially memorable was her storytelling—this isn’t about racing from one attraction to the next or checking sites off a list. Flo helps you understand the stories, people, politics, and events behind the places you’re seeing, which makes the city come alive in a completely different way. She also has a lovely, light sense of humor, and the conversation flowed so naturally that the time flew by. We learned a tremendous amount while genuinely having fun. If you enjoy history, great storytelling, and actually understanding a city rather than simply seeing it, I can’t recommend Flo highly enough. One of the highlights of our time in Madrid!
