- A 10-minute grace period is allowed at the start of the tour. After 30 minutes, the tour will be canceled.
- If you have limited mobility, you should not take part
- Children must be accompanied by an adult and be at least 10 years old
- Users will be able to use the segway for themselves
- The user's weight must be between 30 (77 lbs) and 125 kg (275 lbs) to ride a Segway
- Dress code is smart casual

It was our first Segway experience, and we absolutely loved it. Jaime patiently explained how to use the devices and gave us enough time to practice before we headed to the park. It was fun and a great way to enjoy the park! Much easier than we expected!

Be very careful booking this tour with kids.
The listing states a “recommended” weight range, but in our experience it was enforced as a strict requirement. Our 10-year-old did not meet the recommended weight and was denied participation upon arrival.
We were not offered any alternative, and despite being unable to participate at all, we were not refunded. On-site, we were told to contact Viator regarding the refund, while Viator later indicated the operator controlled that decision. The lack of clarity and accountability was extremely frustrating.
If there is truly a minimum weight requirement, it should be clearly stated as mandatory—not described as “recommended.” As written, the listing is misleading and puts families at risk of paying for an experience they may not be allowed to join.
We’ve booked many tours without issue, which made this experience particularly disappointing.

We understand your disappointment. When you read something and interpret it to suit your own interests, you can't blame the operator. All the booking pages clearly state the minimum age and weight requirements. The age is a regulation, and I doubt your daughter was 10 years old, while the weight requirement is for safety. You even mentioned it in your booking: "We'll stop by the shop to try the girl out because of her weight to see if she can do it." They didn't stop, and before the tour, the girl got on, and the Segway took her wherever it wanted. The girl wasn't able to control it; that's called safety.
I don't think you've had any other Segway experience. It's impossible for a girl of that weight to handle the equipment; she would have crashed within 5 meters, as we saw.
You have a prior reservation, occupying a slot that another customer can't use. They booked through Viator, which clearly states the terms and conditions, and they're the ones who charged, not us. Viator says they don't refund money if the booking is made less than 24 hours in advance, so you're blaming us for your mistake. The Segways were booked, the guide was waiting, and you're blaming the operator.
In short, you didn't read the safety conditions, you didn't read the terms and conditions, and you're blaming the operator.

Give yourselves time to get to the meeting location which we couldnt find and we were late for tour. They did honor the amount of time we had left and we were grateful bc it became one of the highlights of our trip!!! Tour guide even took pics for us and emailed at the end.

Yes, we are located in the center of Madrid, at Calle Huertas, 39. It should be on your Viator voucher, right in the heart of the Literary Quarter. We generally allow a 10-minute grace period, as these are private tours and we have other clients after us, so we can't afford long delays. The entire one-hour tour was completed in 50 minutes. The experience is very rewarding.

Rafael showed us a terrific time. Shop was easy to find. They offered us helmets and ponchos for the drizzle that was to come. We rolled all through the park with ease. Rafael is friendly and knowledgeable about the different cites and sculptures throughout the park. He kept us safe in streets and park. We were able to hear and understand him completely. Nice day zooming around on segways.

We did our very first Segway tour and had an absolutely fabulous experience! Our guide was incredibly patient and made sure we felt comfortable before starting — we quickly got the hang of it.
One thing that really stood out is that this provider uses Segways with big, wide tires, which made riding over cobblestone streets effortless and smooth. They’re super stable and shock-absorbent, which made the entire ride even more enjoyable.
We glided through beautiful 18-acre gardens with ease, taking in the scenery while having so much fun. A special shout-out to our wonderful tour guide, who was so sweet, encouraging, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone — even first-timers!

We had an amazing time on the Segway tour with our guide Rosario. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience both fun and informative. We did have one issue and felt a bit nervous riding on the roads with cars, but Rosario kept us safe and confident throughout the tour.
Because of that, we ended up spending more time in the park, which was a wonderful opportunity to relax and really enjoy the beautiful sights there. Rosario took great care to ensure everyone felt comfortable and confident on their Segways, which helped us fully enjoy the experience.
The tour covered a lot of ground and gave us a fantastic overview of the city’s highlights. Rosario shared interesting stories and local insights that made the sights come alive.

This was a really fun tour. We went as a family with my 12-yr old and 10-yr old and it took them less than 5 minutes to learn to use the Segway. Evans was instructive and very careful with our family as we navigated the streets to the park. Inside the park, we visited the best sites and explored without rushing. It was casual, fun, and different than the typical Madrid tours. Highly recommend this tour from Segcitytours—especially if you’re tired of walking around in the crowds.

Segway is a great way to explore El Retiro Park. A great introduction to the vast and beautiful El Retiro. We covered a lot of ground becoming family with the area so that we knew the spots we wished to revisit again during our stay in Madrid.

Murals and his partner were really attentive and explained how to use the Segway. It was our first time on the Segway and we feel comfortable right away. It was so much fun to explore the beautiful park and learned a little of its history. Highly recommend this tour. They even took pictures for us and send via email if all our photos.

We were able to see the whole park and take pictures at all the monuments & points of interests. It was our first time on a Segway. Guide was super helpful teaching us how to operate. We all had a great time. The main highlight in our Madrid experience.

My husband and I had SO MUCH FUN on this tour! SegCityTours was very accommodating when the park was closed due to wind on our original tour date. We were able to reschedule easily for another date. Our two guides were wonderful! It appeared one was in training. We zipped around Parque del Retiro, stopping to learn about monuments, beautiful park views, and to hear interesting historical tidbits. We picked the 1-hour tour but perhaps the 1.5-hour tour shows more of the park. We would definitely recommend this Segway tour for a fun way to see Madrid!
