Our lovely tour guide, Lisa, contacted us prior to the tour and asked about our interests. She picked us up on time in our hotel lobby. She was very friendly and pleasant. She walked with us and brought us to places in the neighborhood and the city that we would not have discovered by ourselves and which enriched our experience in Madrid. She explained the layout of the neighborhoods, the city, and the history of the development of the areas. We learned a lot, had a wonderful experience, and it was a must-do addition to our trip. Definitely recommend and would do it again in a heartbeat!

tour was not about finding the big stuff-- that can be easily done online. Lisa the guide was excellent at sharing great small stuff and giving advice on where to go and making effective use of time and resources. She was very good in both planning and in the execution of the tour. We highly recommend her.

Carmen, my guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about her country and city Madrid. I wanted items off the beaten path outside of the main ticket landmarks and items and she delivered. These tours are customable to what you want to see.

Lisa did a fabulous job making us feel confortable and a great conversationalist. She really got us immersed into Spanish culture and also made our tour incredibly flexible to cater to our own goals and needs. I recommend her highly and her professionalism was remarkable. Our local guide didn’t show up and we waited for almost 30 minutes before we finally left the meeting point. Although there was lots of frustrations with this, we did get our money back and got offered some free tour to use.

Lisa was great. Great communicator before the walk about. Lisa is sweet and very informative, and seems to know all the other tour leaders. Spent three hours with her and was never bored. She takes her time to explain every thing for you. Makes a tour to fit what you want, not a pre-packaged tour. She wears a bright red hat, so you cannot get lost.

Lisa was very knowledgeable about Madrid and adjusted my tour based on my preferences for the time I would be with her. My one complaint is that the tour ended about 25 minutes early (it was scheduled for 2 hours). Otherwise, I enjoyed my time with Lisa.

Patricia Patricia is a fabulous guide. She made a point of getting in touch with us ahead of time and making it easier for us to connect. She actually came to our hotel to pick us up. She was enthusiastic and cheerful and informative and full of life. We adored her and learned so much and talked about so many different topics. And we not only learned history about Spain, but we shared cultures which is why we love to travel. She also showed us good places to eat or places to avoid. We ended up eating at two of her recommendations and they were outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for more in a guide. We would love for her to come visit us. That’s how much we liked herAnd by the way for English speakers, she is an English teacher, and she speaks beautifully

We had a fantastic experience exploring Madrid on foot with Patricia as our guide. In just three fun-filled hours, she introduced us to hidden gems and iconic landmarks that would’ve taken us weeks to discover on our own.
