This is the best way to see the museum, with a very knowledgeable guide! Bennie was amazing, showed us so many paintings in such detail and from different angles, how the particular paintings should have been viewed.

Museum is large with lots of paintings worth seeing. Best to go with a guide who can provide information. Our tour guide Maria was a very good guide who showed us the important paintings and provided great insight into them.

We had a great tour with Benny at the Prado Museum and pre purchased the optional tapas with the tour. He put the location to go for tapas in my phone stating just mention IBE Tours and show your ticket. They had no idea what we were talking about when we arrived after showing them our tickets and mentioning IBE Tours. We paid for our glass of wine because it was an underwhelming place already and enjoyed the rest of our night somewhere else. While sitting there we sent a text through the viator app to try get help and were answered the following day we did not go and the manager was on duty the whole time. Basically we were lying and go fly a kite. Don't get the optional tapas

Very disappointing guided trip through the Prado. It took us 45 minutes to get in and get our headsets; the guide rushed through the tour in an attempt to fit in as much as possible; he was hard to hear and understand.

Our guide was great. Easy to find, started on time, walked us through a small part of the museum to show the highlights and then let us tour on our own. Hubby and I had to leave right after and wasted a lot of time trying to get out which was hilarious but caused us to miss our next appointment. Not the guides fault though

Very good fly over of the Prado. To navigate this museum alone would be overwhelming and difficult. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the artists and the historical context. Tour was quite large (30 people) and museum was crowded but we had earphones and were able to both hear and experience the works. Was good to do a late afternoon tour as we still had two hours to enjoy the rest of the museum on our own.

Our guide Amanda was wonderful. So knowledgeable about art history, interpretation of an art piece, or how it was restored (well or not!) She was an excellent speaker and pulled everybody into her art stories, making us gasp or laugh at certain times. We loved Prado so much more with her guiding us.

We loved the experience. Rocio, our guide, made an amazing job providing a lot of information in a very entertaining way. We had a great time, and learned a lot. A guided tour is worth it when you have a knowledgable guide. There are a lot of art and history details that you will miss if going on your own. Highly recommended

There was no skip the line, we had to wait in line for an hour in the rain like everyone else. And since the tour started late it was too late for the tapas. Total disaster of a tour.

Great guide and museum! The only issue was that the museum was extremely noisy and it made it very difficult to hear the guide even with earpiece on.

I am very much disappointed that after being a loyal Viator user for 10 years now, simple request could not be granted. My group of 12 was part of the unfortunate who have been stranded for 48 hours in Dubai airport due to their Severe Weather situation of Apr16/17, 2024 - thereby affecting my arrival to Madrid. Despite the emotional & physical trauma we were going thru in Dubai airport in-between re-bookings & finding a place to sleep inside the terminal, I was in contact with Operator trying to make arrangements. My main request was for my booking to be re-scheduled on a another date, when we successfully arrive at our destination. They would not re-consider. I find it quite insensitive and so much in bad taste for customer service.

The museum is breathtaking - to see so many famous pieces under one roof is mindblowing. The guide and tour was great - my friend really enjoyed learning about the art history because she was unaware. I wish more artists were included in the tour, but understand there is a lot there and you can still see more on your own after the tour. All in all - this museum is a MUST for any and all art lovers!

Amanda our guide was an amazing guide explaining the history of the painting and each artist she presented. Her expertise and explanation made the paintings come to life. I really enjoyed the tour and appreciate the art even more. The Museum is quite impressive and is easier to navigate with a tour guide.
