Our only regret is not booking more time! Julio was absolutely amazing—warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging with the kids. Our first day in Madrid with flight arriving at 9 am. Rather than try to roam Madrid streets with jet-lag we chose to tour with Patricia. She was very helpful and gave us a good overview of the city center. Definitely got us energized to explore on our own. The only reason for a 4 vs a 5 review is that it was hard to hear her unless walking side-by-side.

Our guide, Julian, was excellent. We learned so much about the history of Spain—he was so knowledgeable but also very approachable. He gave us so many recommendations about where to eat and things to see. All of his food recommendations were amazing and he kept us away from typical tourist places. We used his suggestions throughout our time in Madrid!

We had a wonderful tour with Julián. I can’t recommend going on a private tour enough. It’s a much better experience to the group tour as you get to converse with your guide, ask questions, and focus the tour on your interests. We learned a lot about Spain, it’s people and it’s history from Julián, and his restaurant recommendations were excellent!

Majo our Guide called day before to change the tour time because the day was going to be very hot. We agreed to meet at 16:00. The next day we arrived at 16:00 and texted the guide and she texted back that she could not come because her boyfriend was out and had the keys and she could not get there

Maria was very sweet and friendly. She tailored thr tour to account for our jetlag and that might be thr reason we skipped sol and grandvia. She was very informative and spoke English very well. The entire family felt satisfied:)
Suggestion: the tour only covers old town and skips Plaza espana, Retiro Park and a bunch of other spots. While booking a tour wish would have know this so could have either payed for a longer tour or booked a second one to cover those areas.

We had an awesome Kickstart tour with our tour guide Sergio who brought us to Plaza Mayor Madrid Cathedral San Miguel Market and the shopping streets around. He is accommodating to our request and slot on some shopping time for us at the church gift shop.we appreciate his kind understanding. first of all he was late, we were about to leave. He showed up and we started walking, he said he would showed us what he thought was good. We stopped at a couple plazas and all he cared to show was places to drink, or party and he kept talking about where he was at last night or weekend before drinking, without mentioning he was only into my husband, and acted while i was invisible most of the tour, we would stop at one place and tell him jokes about drinking etc (pregnant wife-me-right there invisible) We did not get a lot of insight on history but we definetly knew the spots where he likes to drink. At the end i was fed up and i found it boring and insulting, where my husband just tipped him so we could leave earlier, the tour lasted 90 min and we felt like we didnt accomplish much with that tour, def regret it and I wish I had my money back

I wish the tour had been longer, because I could listen to her presentation for hours! Her personality is perfect for this kind of work.
