Amazing Way to See Lisbon!
We did this our first day in Lisbon. I would highly recommend that. Amanda, our tour guide was amazing. She communicated before the trip everything we needed to know. And then we were off in the Tuk Tuk for a full day of adventure. The highlight was of course, the most famous pastries in Portugal. We hit all of the major sites in Lisbon and didn’t have to worry about walking. We ended our trip with an extra stop at the most famous bookstore. And Amanda recommended a delicious place to eat an authentic Portuguese lunch. This was a great way to start off our stay in Lisbon.

The Best of Both!
This Tour is an Absolute Must if you have kids. I tried to book months ago and it was completely booked solid. Don't give up - check a few days before because people cancel their tickets maybe. I finally got three tickets for my husband, myself and my son of 9 yrs old!!! Worth every cent! The guide Maria was Outstanding- it was like a stand-up Comedy show - we all laughed so much! She spoke in several languages to accomodate everyone. Her knowledge was excellent and it was so so much fun. The adults enjoyed it too. The best thing is that you get a quick tour of the city And then you get a tour on the water too. It's literally The Best of Both!!! So glad we got tickets. Many thanks for a fun time.

First Time Visitor to Portugal
I was in Lisbon for a couple of days before a cruise. It was my first visit to Portugal, and I wanted to experience some of the local culture, so I chose this tour. I’m so glad I did! Our guide Hugo was very knowledgeable in Portuguese history and the sites we visited and how they fit in that history. Our first stop was Sintra itself and after a brief presentation about the history, we had some free time to explore on our own and have some coffee and pastries before walking to Quinta da Regaleira, the beautiful manor house and grounds. Our tour allowed us to see the first floor of the house. There was so much to see on the grounds and Hugo provided in-depth information. Our next stop was Pena Palace, which commands beautiful views of the Atlantic. We had the choice to walk up to the base of the palace or take the shuttle (associated cost). I chose to walk, which was a bit steep but not terribly long. Hugo gave us information about the palace before letting us explore a little on our own. Highlights were the chapel and scenic walk. Next we had a relaxing lunch, which you can opt into before the tour. It is a Prix-fixe lunch. Next we drove to Cabo da Roca for a brief stop, which is the western most point on the European continent. Our final stop was Cascais, which had originally been a fishing village but is now a coastal resort. This was a wonderful introduction to Portugal. I highly recommend this tour. Our tour bus held eight passengers, which was the number of people on our tour. The small group enhanced the quality of the tour. Word of caution, they are not kidding when they say steep cobblestone walkways. An accessible tour may be a better option if you have mobility issues.

10/10 Experience
Such a lovely experience Mariana was excellent with keeping us informed the days leading up to the boat tour. The crew was also fantastic and kept our wine glasses full. We did this towards the end of our stay in Lisbon. It was great to see the city from a different angle!!
