What are people saying about Sistine Chapel

Pack your Patience at the Vatican
The Vatican is such a magical place. So many beautiful art pieces, sculptures, tapestries and more. But the crowds can be overwhelming and at times unruly. We were overrun by a stroller in the Sistine Chapel. The chapel and the basilica are sacred areas. Wish there less people and more time to take in the awesomeness.

We had Christian as our guide and had a great experience. We saw all the highlights of both the Vatican museum and St. Peter’s Basilica. We were given around 15-20min in the Sistine Chapel to soak in the art. Prior to entering there, Christian went into great detail about the artwork and what to look for. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything there. You can tell he had a passion for what he was saying, which we appreciated. Highly recommend!

Fabulous tour!
Amazingly informative tour! We were given ample time in the Sistine chapel and the basilica. Truly worth every penny to skip the line into the basilica. The line outside to get into the basilica was unbelievable long. The price of the tour was worth every penny!

  • Because the chapel is a Catholic church with a dress code. Wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees and maintain decorum by keeping your voice low.

  • Though photography (without flash) is permitted in the Vatican Museums, no photography is allowed in the Sistine Chapel.
