The tour provider was very flexible when we had a train cancellation. They graciously allowed us to reschedule our tour the next day. We enjoyed the wonderful sights of the Old Town of Granada. It was a sunny day and the sunset was incredible, especially as it lit up the Alhambra. Just amazing! We highly recommend.

Fantastic tour of the history and geography of Granada. Lots of steps but the tour was well paced so that our 70+ selves could catch our breath. The scenery as we climbed up and through Albaicin and Sacromonte was spectacular. Highly recommend this tour.

Mario our guide is very knowledgeable and the tour went beyond our expectation. We got to see some neighborhoods in Granada that we would have not gone ourselves had we not had this tour. Highly recommended.

Do NOT book this tour

Arvinder_B, Jan 2026
We came here on time and the girl at the reception told us to wait for the guide. At 5 minutes passed the schedule time, she sad that the guide left already znd they are issuing a refund. No empathy whatsoever. She knew that this was our only day in Granada. Worst customer service ever!!

Breathless

Jan_K, Dec 2025
The sunset walking tour was exactly as our tour guide Mario promised, “breathtaking”. The primary focus of the tour was the history of the two neighborhoods surrounding the Alhambra. The views of the Alhambra from dusk to the dark of night. were in fact, breathtaking, as was the climb! Be prepared to walk through very uneven streets and up and down a lot of stairs. Still, well worth being breathless.

Sunset at its best

Mario was a great guide navigating through the many alleys of Albaizin and Sacramento. The journey is up the hill so recommend to wear comfortable shoes.

A great way to see the city with the sunset

Jenna_R, Oct 2025
Nicole was a wonderful guide and took me down interesting streets and areas I wouldn't even know had history/details if I went on my own. The sunset was magical and the city and Alhambra looked beautiful when the sun was setting. We even saw an old cave house and people were playing music in the streets. This is definitely worthwhile to see the city this way!

Best Granada tour

This tour comes highly recommended. Our tour was super knowledgeable. It’s a shame that I don’t remember his name but he’s Cuban. He gave us a thorough history of the region and made it digestible. He showed us secret pathways throughout the city and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Our guide Nicole was fantastic!! No hurry at all, took her time to explain everything. Plenty of time to take pictures!

What an extraordinary informative tour. We had an excellent guide that gave so much history and made all the steps so much easier! He rested enough and assisted us with the booking of a cave flamenco show. Enjoyed every step of tbe way. It was beautiful!

This tour was a great introduction to Granada and its history. Mario (our guide) provided insight to the local history and how Granada developed through the centuries. He also provided several recommendations for restaurants frequented by locals. The views from San Nicolas of the Alhambra complex were spectacular (despite the uncommon August thunderstorm). I’d recommend the tour provider have some umbrellas available for tours.

A wonderful way to see Granada

Linda_O, Aug 2025
Mar was our guide, such a lovely person and her English was very good. A wonderful introduction to Granada.

First impression of Granada

Lisa_R, Jul 2025
Highly recommend! It was a great tour just hours after arriving in Granada. Ours was a nice small group. Mario is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Granada but a great, friendly guide which made it so enjoyable. He knows many locals and made great suggestions for our stay as well.

Great tour!

Ethan_B, Jun 2025
A beautiful walk through Granada with amazing views. Mario was a great guide! Learned a good bit about the area, history, and culture.

Good tour and great exercise

Stephanie_M, Jun 2025
This was a good tour and a great way of getting our bearings in the city. I'd recommend it early in a trip to Grenada as a way of seeing some of the sights that you may not want to hike around to find (there's a lot of hills in the city)!

First timers must-do.

David_L, May 2025
Great walk through the Albaicin, which is a must-do for Granada. We never would have seen these specific sights without it, and the 7pm start time was ideal. I highly recommend our guide, Mia. She did the tour in both English and Spanish and was both knowledgeable and fun.

Culture and Calm Amidst the Chaos of Semana Santa

TrentWien, Apr 2025
It was an incredibly insightful and especially enriching experience because we had Mia as our guide. She rattled off the past 2,000+ years of the country and city’s history like it was nothing before showing us a plethora of key buildings, charming alleyways, stunning viewpoints, and quaint gardens (Carmens). She kept us constantly entertained with deeply intimate knowledge of the area (and the symbolism behind everything) along her awesome sense of humor. And she had an amazing attitude despite having combatted a week’s worth of Semana Santa crowds and a number of affiliated tour cancellations or logistic mishaps. The tour itself was also memorable because the route taken leads to the st Nicholas church, and the sunset vista that area adfords of the Alhambra, the city below (inc the suburbs) and the sierra nevadas will remain forever lodged in my memory. TLDR version: Mia (our guide) was a gem and this tour deftly showcases the uniqueness of the Granadan cityscape and the region’s landscape

Rachel_L, Apr 2025
Despite a windy and rainy evening, our guide Mario made this a great walking tour. He really took his time to explain the history and background of these two extremely interesting neighborhoods.

Great way to start visit to Granada

Christopher_C, Mar 2025
Saw excellent views of the city and Alhambra. Great way to start visit to Granada for an overview. Easy to find start point. Be ready for relatively brisk walk. Our guide Mia was excellent. Lots of history and background in her presentations.

A Wonderful Walking Tour with a Fabulous Guide

Diane_D, Mar 2025
I did this walking tour my first evening in Granda, and it was a wonderful way to get an introduction to the city’s history and geography before diving into the Alhambra and all that. Mario, my guide, was knowledgable and enthusiastic. As I was the only one on the tour, it was a more personable experience than with a larger tour, but I’m sure Mario would manage a larger group as warmly as he did my tour. It was a wonderful experience! The only caution I have is that this is a walking tour with a good deal of up and down. If you are unsure on your feet or in bad physical shape, you should consider a bus tour. But you are not going to see these special parts of Granada on a bus tour!

Lovely enjoyable tour!

Mutaz_F, Jan 2025
Lovely walking tour in Granada, explored the hidden pearls in the old town, with very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide Carlos, he made the tour very enjoyable and we didn’t feel the time passing! Highly recommended.

This tour gives you an excellent into the history of Cordoba and, in particular, to the sites visited which are fascinating. The Mosque-Cathedral is stunning and should not be missed. Jose proved to be a great guide.

Great way to catch best view of Alhambra

Henry_H, Dec 2024
It was a memorable evening. Felt like Mario took us to many hidden gems in every corner of our hike to get some amazing views of Alhambra. Most of the walks was uphill but Mario was patient to let us stop and caught our breath often so we did not feel rushed and enjoyed our tour with his explanation. Definitely recommend this tour and cheers for Mario.

Great tour for the money

Jim_F, Nov 2024
Mario was very knowledgeable of the history of the area. He was also very respectful of the pace of the walk since it was rather steep and we were an older group. Highly Recommend.
