This day trip to Alpujarra was incredibly well run. Gonzalo is an incredible tour guide and did a great job of bringing around a group of both English and Spanish speakers! We got lucky and had beautiful weather too and the views were amazing! The pace didn’t feel overly rushed… overall, I highly recommend this tour. Thank you again Gonzalo!

Our guide was extremely kind and professional and went out of his way to make sure we all had a great day, including our 7 year old. The day itself was fantastic. It was lovely to get out of Granada and see the Sierra Nevada and villages of the Alpujarra, which are really wonderful. This tour was excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Gonzalo was our guide and driver, he went out of his way to make sure we experienced the best of the region. We stopped in to see a friend of his who lives in a 400 year old house and learned what it was like for him to be in his late 70's, a retired intellectual who is spending his retirement in a village of 30 people. The entire area we visited was gorgeous, interesting and very rewarding to see. I would recommend this tour and if you have Gonzolo as your guide your time spend here will be truly amazing.

Beautiful scenery and towns to explore, rain or shine

Carlos was a lovely guide that accommodated me very well because I was the only person on tour that spoke English to translate separately just for me. It was also a very wet day but it made the mountains look mystical like something out of a movie. Carlos was very informative of the local areas and how they came to be and focused on the architecture of the houses in the small towns focusing on ancient traditions. Overall it is very worthwhile to check out.

BEST day in Spain!

By far the best day and tour of our 1.5 weeks in Spain!!! Carlos was so fantastic- we visited several absolutely beautiful villages in the highest mountains, he took us through little quaint neighborhoods we never would have found on our own, made several special stops on the road for beautiful vistas, canyons and bridges, and gave us 1.5 hours of free time to eat and shop. Carlos made the trip! He is so knowledgeable, fun, personable and funny. The absolute highlight of our trip to Spain!!!

Amazing day tour from Granada! Well worth it!

My sister and I decided to do something different for our last day in Granada. We are so glad we signed up for this tour of Las Alpujarras! We were fortunate to have our tour guide, Gonzalo, all to ourselves! Gonzalo showed us incredible spots with stunning views, stopping at beautiful mountain villages, and sharing with us details on the history and culture of the region. He also gave us a great recommendation for a most delicious and bountiful lunch at a very friendly, family-run restaurant. He also introduced us to a pair of lovely ladies who are keeping alive the art of weaving using traditional looms. The scarves we purchased will forever remind us of the incredible time we spent with Gonzalo in Las Alpujarras. We also appreciated what a good careful and good driver he is! He navigated the winding roads up the mountains very well! I HIGHLY recommend this day tour to anyone wanting an off-the-beaten path experience while visiting Granada. Thank you, Gonzalo!

This was a wonderful trip - helped by the fact that we were the only two travellers. Gonzalo was so knowledgeable about the area and we visited sites that we would never have found by ourselves. Expensive Taxi Ride

Memorable: I had a fabulous time with my husband. We made the best of crazy circumstances. Not so memorable: The driver loaded up 7 people. During the entire trip, I was in the back seat, middle. My view was a headrest. I asked to be moved for the trip back—the driver never asked the bully front-seat traveler to share his seat. Driver talked very little and 50% in SPANISH--paid for ENGLISH tour. Had 3 bilingual travelers in our group-guide catered to these travelers-we subsidized their day. Another one of our young fellow travelers was also frustrated with our concerns, and during lunch, he expressed that he could not hear anything from the middle seat. He said, "Why does he not have a speaker with headset?' What to do? Ask for refund? Or...warn others this may occur on your tour. We had a good time because --we can turn lemons into lemonade. It was a VERY expensive taxi ride up the mountain.

We also understand the frustration of the other passenger in the middle seat who couldn't hear. A portable speaker is a good suggestion and something we will consider. A fascinating tour, full of the unexpected

This was an amazing tour full of unexpected and interesting sites. Our guide, Gonzalo was wonderful, a mine of information on the history and environment, and drove carefully on the winding mountain roads. Our visit to the village of Capileira was as highlight, followed by a delicious lunch at a recommended tavern. I highly recommend this tour as a way to learn more about southern Spain.

Absolutely fantastic trip! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure that everyone was comfortable with some of the trickier walks. The guide even spoke Spanish to me after I told him I was learning! Lots of lovely sites to see, fabulous lunch (recommended by the guide) in one of the towns. Definitely recommend if you have a free day when visiting Granada.

The entire process was so easy, including the booking on the app, communication with the business, pick up and drop off. Our guide was a superb, safe, and courteous driver. He was interesting and engaging. The experience was monumental, due to the spectacular views and the experience. The exposure to unique things "off the beaten path" was awesome, such as the visit to a small village where only 30 people lived, and the lunch meal at a restaurant that i dont think we would ever have found otherwise. For me, this tour was the highlight of my 2 week trip to spain.

Really enjoyed this tour. Carlos was our guide in a small group of 7. We learnt about the history and geography of the Alpujarras as well as immersing ourselves in these beautiful small villages. The only improvement would be to have the tour presented in one language only and to have all participants be mindful of time.

A trip into the interior of Andalusia

An interesting day, We saw a number of natural sites. it was pleasant to walk around small provincial towns and villages which are off the tourist trail. The driver/guide was good and made efforts to speak English.
