It’s a very rushed tour we didn’t get enough time to spend time looking at the wonderful place. There was a lot lost in translation.

Excellent small group tour of Alhambra and Generalife precinct, led by Andrea who was passionate, knowledgeable and engaging. The tour goes for 3.5 hours, so take a snack and water. The tour was great, but the directions as to where to meet the tour leader were very vague, and it was quite stressful not knowing where to meet. It was actually in front of the main ticket office, but Viatour did not communicate this, and the map location they sent showed the wrong location. It was just luck that I overheard the tour group organiser say our names!

The Alhambra is an amazing experience. The guide we had was very knowledgeable and constantly checked in on how everyone was doing as it is a 3-hour tour. This is a must do experience in Granada

Very good guide, helped us get through all the controls as this a UNESCO heritage site, security is very tight.the site is quite big so you need to be reasonably fit. Beautiful place, the guide Mar was very knowledgeable and lively.

We had a great tour of the Alhambra, Generalife gardens and Nasrid palaces originally built by the Nasrid dynasty with some additional by the Spanish Christian monarchs. We had a great guide who shared insights on how Granada was ruled over the centuries. Beautiful architectures from the Nasrid influence. Well worth the visit.

While an amazing experience, it is a lot of walking, uphill and going upstairs. I enjoyed the exercise but a couple people were pretty tired by the end of it. I can’t emphasize this enough - wear proper walking shoes. Lots of cobblestones and dirt paths.
Our guide, Celia, was quite personable and knowledgeable. She knew a lot of history & anecdotal stories.
Overall, I recommend the experience.

Book this tour! The Alhambra is a bucket list destination and it's best to go with an informed guide to get the most out of it. Our premium English tour group was a bit larger than promised, but the guide was excellent. She used a headset and we each had individual earpieces, so it was easy to hear her commentary despite the crowds. The tour starts early, so you get ahead of most of the other tourists and can even beat the heat. The Alhambra over delivers!

The tour was great . Customer service was horrible. The tour time was changed and we weren’t notified even after I called Maria at customer service as the directions tab on the Viator invite directed us via a back entrance to Al ham bra in order to get to the main gate. Nonetheless, it was a very frustrating experience until the tour actually started. Itana was awesome guide.

Skip the line access to all sites and excellent guided tour. Our guide was a historian and expert, he stopped for photos and breaks. Even with it being three hours, it was great!

This was a very good tour of Alhambra & Generalif. It was a small group of only 7 and our tour guide, Aitana, was excellent. She explained everything in good detail and was easy to understand. I highly recommend this tour.

Bit of confusion with timing as they were changed. Contacted Viator but they gave details of old time. Apart from the initial confusion the tour was excellent.

This tour covered all aspects of the Alhambra. Our guide was organised and knew lots of information, especially about the Nasrid palaces. Viator didn’t advise that you definitely need to take your passport for each group member with you. This caused some confusion initially.

A nice small group of only 6 people.
Dominic the guide was very good, highly intelligent and very well informed. All his stories were interesting, rather than just a list of historical dates.

The tour was well organized in the sense it was easy to find our tour guide and getting our audio equipment and starting the tour was fine. However the visit to all the promised sites like the Alcazaba was not done and it was a rushed tour. I think the duration of 3 hours is not sufficient to do justice for the place and the tour operator needs to account for this when fixing the time. The guide was ok and knowledgeable and the level of English understandable but not at a standard one would expect for a tour guide in English which is why I would rate a 4 instead of a five for the lack of covering all the places and communication. The guide had another tour at 12 and our's was at 9 so from that itself one can see the duration of 3 hours promised could not be fulfilled.

Fabulous tour. Our guide Antonio Vega Alonso was very pleasant. We saw everything we needed to see, as well as less visited sites within Alhambra. All of this at a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing pace. His English was excellent and we learned quite a bit from him in regards to Alhambra and Granada. I highly recommend this tour and hopefully you’re fortunate enough to have Antonio as your guide.

It’s very apparent why people want to see this beautiful site in Granada. The tour takes about 3 hours with little time to sit and rest. If you’re older or need to take things a bit slower, you may want to visit on your own. However, our guide was very informative and everyone enjoyed the experience.
