The tour operator moved up the start time from noon to 10AM. Viator did not inform us, in fact we continued to get reminders of the original noon start via text message throughout the morning. We traveled 2.5 hours by train for this tour. Luckily we were given admission tickets but NO tour. They offered an audio but it did not work. We have contacted Viator and they have refused any refund.

Time Change Necessity: The official entrance time for the Nasrid Palaces was urgently moved to an earlier slot by the Alhambra management. We adjusted the meeting time to 10:00 AM to ensure you secured entry to this mandatory section of the monument, which was our priority.
Communication Issue: We regret that Viator failed to communicate this mandatory time change effectively and continued to send reminders with the incorrect noon start time. This breakdown in notification is being addressed with our partner.
Service Provided: We successfully secured and delivered your official admission ticket, allowing you access to the Nasrid Palaces and the rest of the Alhambra complex. We acknowledge that the alternative audio guide was non-functional, which we regret. We had no opportunity to provide an immediate solution or replacement, as this issue was only reported to us upon your return from the visit.
We understand your disappointment regarding the guided service. We secured the most valuable component—the non-refundable admission ticket to the Nasrid Palaces—which ensured you did not lose the core of your visit.
We value your feedback and will escalate the communication failure to Viator to ensure better notification protocols for all future bookings.

Masterful storytelling by Eduardo of the conception and construction of the Alhambra to present day preservation made my long awaited visit to the site so worthwhile. Eduardo’s love of subject , from translations of the Koran scriptures on the walls to the complexity of designs to knowing the names of trees and flowers, made the Alhambra come to life for me.

This tour was advertised as a private/ semi private tour for 15 people or less. We had 21 people in our group. This limits engagement with the guide, who becomes a sheep herder and not a guide. the first hour of the tour was spent in the garden with him pointing out herbs, fruit and flowers and trees that we are familiar with. And the guide is frustrated with tourists himself! The last hour in the palace was the most educational and valuable.
Alhambra is unforgettable but I’d like to forget this tour experience.

I have to take some blame as we arrived 30 minutes late due to an unforeseen incident. We paid $100 apiece for 2 tickets. You could have at least TRIED to connect us with the tour at the 3pm ticket time for the nasarid. Your audio tour is crap.

Our tour guide was good under the circumstances. Our issue is with Viator and GRANAVISION - Movviendo Tourism. We signed up for this tour for a small group up to 15 people, because we felt that to truly appreciate the Alhambra tour a small group would be better. Unfortunately Movviendo who managed the tour put us into a group of 30 (actually 31 but they moved one person to another group since Alhambra will not allow groups of 31)!! Totally not what we wanted, it was very poorly organized, including people that did not bring physical ID like instructions state is a must, which resulted in additional wasted time to just start the tour. The refund they wanted to offer was the difference between my tour and the tour they added us into which came from Seville on a bus with a guide…so it was a minimal difference. They would not reimburse the difference between our tour for small group with no transportation to a large group with no transportation…totally a miss by Viator who would not back me up, but instead supported the tour company who was in the wrong. It makes me think twice about using and recommending Viator to others in the future.

We greatly regret that for reasons of time availability, we were forced to form a group of such size. However, we offered the possibility of refunding the difference between a normal group and a small group. You will understand that it is the difference between what they hired and the visit they finally made.

Beautiful and magical with a lot of historical facts. The tour guide was knowledgeable. We chose the English tour but made it bilingual to accommodate Spanish speakers which were in the English tour. He was very pleasant

Absolutely amazing experience. Worth every penny to get an in depth tour with a wonderful guide (Emilio) who answered all of our questions and was a fountain of information. All the other tours were rushing by us as we lingered and really absorbed this amazing location.

None, we did not get in even though we had tickets; they changed the time from 12 noon to 10 am and we were NOT notified even though they told us we were, no email no txt, said they tried to call, BUT NO ONE LEFT A MESAGE! Extremely disappointed!!

Thank you for your comment but is a pitty that you did not check the few messages in Viator platform, also we tried to reach you several times but neither did not take our calls.
Anyway you visited the Alhambra with our Audioguide service as solution that you missed the tour and the Nazaries Palaces time.
Thats why before book with Granavision, it is inform that the time can be change because the availibility of the monument in special the Nazaries Palaces depends of the council of the monument because of the conservation and the people that can visit per day.

Tour was advertised as English speaking but was changed to English and German. Tour guide was rude and upset that group members were taking too many pictures instead of listening to him, but much of the tour was in German. This tour was quite expensive at $100/person and we didn't get our money's worth. This was our first negative experience with Viator.

Worst experience. The guide was very rude, inconsiderate and not not very customer friendly. He was talking Spanish most of the time , running like in a marathon, when I requested to slow down due to asthma and leg injury, he refused and said has another group to attend after this one and he continue making fun of during the whole run

We went on a few tours while in Andulucia. This tour of the Alhambra was the best by far. Our guide Fernando was well organized, vigilant with the group, spoke clearly and was extremely knowledgeable about the Alhambra. It was a pleasure.

The Alhambra was something I had always wanted to see. It is a very popular tourist destination and even though our group was small there were a lot of people to work around. Andy was an excellent guide and explained the history of the palaces well.

It was fascinating! The Alhambra is not to be missed when coming to Granada. Our guide, Vanessa, was extremely knowledgeable and energetic. I wish it were a little slower pace and more time for questions. Her English was difficult to understand at times.
