Absolutely excellent tour! Very good guide Antonio who knew his history and communicated it so well
Three hours well spent and Antonio made sure us old ones were looked after. If we had gone on our own we would have missed so many insights that he shared with us
Great value and memories that will last for years.
Georgia was exceptional with an amazing knowledge of Alhambra and was captivating. Led us to perfect photo spots, was courteous to the other groups around. This was simply perfect.
This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Celia, was knowledgeable, interesting and fun. It was a hot day, so she gave us a short break, but generally she kept things moving and the time passed quickly. The Alhambra is a special
place and full of fascinating history. Not to be missed!
Friendly and informative tour of the Alhambra, thank you! Kept a group of 17 entertained last Thursday morning with temperatures touching 40 centigrade, nobody passed out and kept it enjoyable.
We were so excited to return to the Alhambra after 59 years and this tour triggered many good memories. Our guide was informative throughout the tour; the gardens and the palace. She didn't miss any of the historical facts relating to the hundreds of years of occupancy and her commentaries were exceptional. Traveling during mid-June provided excellent weather and minimal crowds. If you are visiting Granada, schedule this tour early so as not to miss one of the best historical sights in Spain.
First time to visit. A bit chaotic at the meeting point, but fine when we got going. Antonio, our Guide was very good and entertaining. Could have done with a Coffee break after 2 Hour not two.
We loved this tour. It is a lot of walking but it is like nowhere else in the world. Our guide (Antonio) was fantastic and helped a lot with my mom with limited mobility
Very interesting but it ran very long and we were very pressed for time.
I had hoped to see the harems but we mainly saw the main rooms and gardens
Guide was good and open to questions.
Alhambra is so big and has such history, it probably deserves a few days of exploring. I went in May. Great time to go - not too hot and roses are in bloom.
A couple of negatives. Tour operator changed start time to half hour later a couple of days before. I had already booked and paid for train ticket based on original time, so had to learnt 25 minutes early. Tour operator made error on my ticket and guide and I had to go back outside and file an incident report and get special pass. Not a pleasant way to start
The local provider overbooked the tour and moved to 30 minutes later than scheduled. Our day was planned and this caused us to simply use the admission tickets and tour on our own. We were not able to enjoy having a tour operator because time would not allow and let us see everything. I feel we should only pay the cost of admission and Viator should refund the remaining amount to our credit card.
I can't speak to the full experience. $200 plus for tickets that I mistook for being entry on our own. I received a call from the tour company letting us know they were waiting for us, the tour was starting. We were still 5-10 minutes out after getting lost. I told the gentleman the group could go ahead without us (again, I was just expecting entry, not a tour) because we wouldn't make it. The gentleman said he'd be around another 5min, then he'd leave the tickets for us at the entry. When we got to the entry, we were told there were no tickets. We ended up just walking around the outside, which is free to do. But it cost us over $200 to do. Not a great experience. But what we did see was cool. Im sure the inside was something to be seen. I'd recommend planning as far in advance as possible so you can purchase tickets directly and save yourself time, money and the hassle.
Great tour of the Alhambra with Carmen and friendly guide.
The price included a Granada Card which we weren’t aware of - it gave us access to lots of things not advertised!
Well paced and informative guide. Use the restroom beforehand as there isn't one for quite some time.
Excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable very personable such a nice person. I really enjoyed her. She was really exceptional. I believe her name Itana. She was so nice and she just was such a great guide. We learned a lot. I’ve been to the Alhambra many years ago and she made it a very enjoyable experience again.
Able to book last minute after another booking group cancelled. Tour guide was amazing. Expect to walk a lot. Steep stairs throughout. Beautiful architecture.
Great tour. Our guide was Patricia and she was very very good. The place is massive and does take three hours and then whatever you want to take afterwards and you get time for a break. I would highly recommend that you book months in advance for the first 8 o'clock tour or whatever the first tour is because the crowds are horrific we went on Christmas Eve thinking that the crowds would be light and they were just horrific so I can only imagine what it's like in the spring fall and summer. You have been warned. And whatever you do you need to tip your tour guide quit being cheap just because it's not your custom these people make almost nothing and give you them five euros for three hours of your time is not going to hurt you. Do not be selfish do not be cheap tip your tour guide at least five euros if not more. Shame on you if you don't! And if you can't afford to tip you shouldn't be traveling!
Our your guide was great. We got to see all the best parts of the Alhambra. We couldn't get tickets bc they were sold out for general entry but with this tour we were still able to see this beautiful site.
I loved our guide and it is quite obvious he is tasked for 3 hours .
I would have lined to have a fee opportunities for more pictures .
He was very knowledgeable and his English was impeccable.
One of the most amazing places in the world for sure .
Our guide, Michael, became an instant friend. His knowledgeable commentary expanded the sites we saw and provided historical, cultural, practical and gastronomical depth. The tour is a full day of exploring a dazzling part of Spain and Michael’s special touches added a wondrous dimension to the overall experience. Highly recommended.
The tour of the Alhambra was spectacular! Forgettable!
The tour guide, Chema, was excellent! We enjoyed the pace and the detailed explanations. Our English group was small do he could give us lots of attention and answer individual questions. The 3 hours went quickly and comfortably….it was not at all gruelling. A highlight of Spain!
Overall good to ensure entrance into the Alhambra but I could not understand the tour guide and the group was so big and busy that it was a bit all over the place for me to actually learn anything new of the Alhambra b
We visited the Alhambra with Dante as our guide, he made the visit unforgettable, it could never have been the same without him. Thank you very much

Visit recommended in the morning during the summer season, and an interesting museum to visit as well (check the days and hours of operation).

Very nice visit, the guide really knowledgeable about her subject, very friendly. bring a photo ID, otherwise, even if your ticket is paid, they refuse entry. Luckily, I had a picture in my telephine of my passport.

It was very good to have hired the tour because it is a very large and interesting place so a guide helps to understand. In our case our guide Anis was excellent
