Our guide, Paola Ruiz, was very charming and vivacious. She came in last placement for our original guide who go sick. She was very knowledgeable about Alhambra everything and explained things with lots of interesting stories. She kept going for hours even pass the time limit. She was an amazing guide and we learned so much and had a great time!

We took a day trip from Malaga to visit the Alhambra. Amazing site! We had a private tour for the four of us. Our guide, Miriam, was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of the history/insights. The Alhambra is a large venue with lots to see - our tour was about 3 hours and we could have spent another 2 hours exploring. The day was hot (we were there in late June) and Miriam paced our tour perfectly so we were in shaded areas during the peak sun. She was also very helpful with lunch suggestions after the tour. If you are in the area, I highly recommend visiting the Alhambra and this tour.

I do not recommend this company.
They don't communicate well before the tour. Messages had a rude tone.
During the tour, the guide was not good. He kept rushing us, at times clearly annoyed that we would want to stop for photos at the scenic places. If we'd just bought regular tickets, we could have gone at the pace we wanted. He told us we could wait until after the tour to go back through on our own and take photos, but in nearly 100F heat, I don't want to walk through the entire area again with my 4yo, I want to take photos during the private tour I paid for.
Then, 2.5 hours after the meeting time, he told us the tour was finished, but we hadn't even gone to the third palace! This was supposed to have been a 3 hour tour.
He did finally agree to take us to the third palace, and we were rushed through in 20 minutes, ending the tour 2 hours and 50 minutes after the meeting time. Maybe he had a big date after?

We're sorry that you felt somewhat rushed during the tour. Our guide mentioned that photos were taken, time was given for this, and assistance was offered, so he is surprised and disappointed by your feedback. We understand the importance of enjoying every moment, especially in a beautiful place like the Alhambra. Our guide aimed to offer a complete experience within the allotted time of 2.5 to 3 hours. We regret if this was not satisfactory, as the entire Alhambra was visited and a tip was given as a sign of gratitude. We take note of your comments and will share them with our team to avoid similar situations in the future.
Regarding the tour's duration, our guides typically adjust the itinerary according to each client's conditions and pace ,but we have to comply with palace hours, otherwise we lose access. August is very hot, so we recommend a tour in the early morning, especially with a young child.

The Nazaries Palace was breathtaking. Lovely natural spaces and use of water throughout. Truly a paradise on earth. The Alhambra and Nazaries Palaces are ornate and very beautiful. There are lots of ways to access these two places. I would NEVER recommend this tour provider. After paying $565.80 US for two people, I requested that we be collected from our apartment in Granada and provided the address. I received a message back from Gema Rivas with a direct quote, “We can provide a private Transfer from your apartment.” I then asked what time we’d be collected. They never responded but we trusted they’d collect us at the agreed upon place. They never showed up and instead of admitting fault said they didn’t know we wanted a private transfer. Accidents happen and sometimes people forget, but instead of accepting any responsibility, offering to pay for the taxi, or refunding a portion of the large expenses of the tour, she doubled down in the Viator communications that she didn’t know we wanted a transfer when we’d asked, and shed accepted the request. Absolutely unacceptable. I would recommend taking a tour, but never with this private tour group. Very unsatisfied.

We have checked the entire history of your reservation as we did at the time, and as you can check the private transfer is not included in the price of the visit:

Optionally, the client can hire the transfer, of course.
You also asked us if you could leave your luggage: "can we keep our luggage with the car while on the tour?"
and we sent you how, where to park and you let us know what option you wanted in other to pay the private transfer in that case.
Viator as a marketplace sets its margin and we have concluded the mistake was a communication issue since when we did not receive a response about wanting to reserve it, we assumed that you would take your vehicle.
We sincerely apologize for any possible inconvenience, our team is connected 24 hours /day. If we had received a call in case of doubt, we could have confirmed that you had not made an optional transfer reservation, since in this case you would have received confirmation with the pick-up time. .
Keep in mind that if the mistake had been ours, we will assume it of course.
I reiterate our apologies and we thank you for your interest, this will help us to prevent this from happening again and to be clearer in communications.

Laura was lovely - knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. Her understanding of the history of the Al Hambra was captivating. She also really enjoyed the idea of Paradise on Earth and showed us all of the ways that Al Hambra lives the concept. She was interesting and fun - we enjoyed our time with her and the Al Hambra immensely. I would do this tour again, and I will definitely recommend it to friends. We met other tourists who did the tour via the headphones or on their own who did not have the same experience that we did. It was truly memorable.

Running late, Couldn't find parking very stressed. Calle our guide and everything got better. He was relaxed, informative and very passionate about the Alhambra. First off, we LOVED our tour guide Christine. So pleasant, knowledgable and she had a great vibe. That said, this tour was INSANELY overpriced. Paying the high fee, we thought we'd get a "Luxury of Experiences" and exclusivity. We didn't. At all. We had the same exact experience that every other person taking this tour had except we paid hundreds of Euros more. HUNDREDS. Communication from the tour operator was non-existent. Worse, apparently there were other tours and experiences included, but the tour company didn't even bother to contact us after we paid in advance to let us know they were available. Nor did we even know they existed/were included because it wasn't listed on the tour description (see picture), so we couldn't even inquire about them. Thus, we were unable to participate in anything beyond the tour. Overall I would have given the Alhambra Private Tour Zero stars, except we really liked our guide. A complete and total ripoff. NOT Recommended. You've been warned.

My husband and I visited the Alhambra with Ana in early April 2022. I can't "gush" enough about our tour and our guide. Ana's communication with us prior to the tour was clear and she met us at the set time. Going into this tour, we knew very little about the history of the Alhambra. We left yearning for more!
